    Charles came out to my home early this morning and was amazing! I though they were just coming to give me an idea of the issues that I had going on; however, he was able to rectify them as well! He was very kind, had a wonderful & patient temperament, and he explained everything that was gong on with my unit.My step dad referred this company to me from Columbia, SC and I am so glad that they have been so friendly and easy to work with! Even the receptionist or dispatch (the kind woman that answers the phone and handles the scheduling) is very kind and warm. I went from being a little perturbed regarding something trivial (scheduling) to smiling at the end of the call.I highly recommend this company! They traveled to the downtown Charleston area where I live to complete the work and I had no idea they were based out of Ravenell! Great customer service all around!!

    We have been searching for a good, trustworthy company to handle our HVAC maintenance. We called Blanton on the recommendation of a friend and werenā€™t disappointed. Marshall was very thorough and did a good job explaining his findings. Unlike other companies weā€™ve dealt with, Blanton was very responsive and didnā€™t try to upsell us on things we didnā€™t need.

    Thanksgiving weekend it is supposed to be really cold and out control box died we are having a houseful of family . Melissa and Hollis got the part ordered on Monday and had Charles scheduled to come Tuesday. Girls were wonderful. Charles came Tuesday and got it installed and working properly. He double checked everything to make sure everything was working well . Explained everything he did and he was so professional and nice . We have used this company for other AC work. This is the best company anyone could ask for. We would never use anyone else.

    I dont typically write reviews, but this one is deserving. I can easily reiterate many of the comments listed in the reviews. After, unsuccessfully, working with a competitor for 3 months to diagnose and repair the HVAC unit, Blanton & Sons resolved the issue on day 1. The experience from the first call to completion of service was professional and pleasant. The Service Technician, Jeffrey, was knowledgeable, professional, competent & personable. He took the time to explain the issue and the work that was completed. Based on my experience, I would recommend them.

    So glad we called Blanton & Sons!~ We live in the park Circle Area and have a split unit in our home and our outdoor unit shut off on us Early Tuesday morning during the Tropical Storm Debby. It was working on and off and Friday (Today) we decided to call to see what was wrong.We called first thing in the morning and spoke to Receptionist Christina, who was extremely helpful, patient and willing to listen to our plight. She managed to schedule us in for same day service, and kept us updated and gave us all proper viable information as they promised.Our tech Andrew contacted us before arriving and was able to make it out to us 3 hours earlier than initially scheduled. He was super pleasant, polite and professional. He gave us clear concise details of what was wrong with our unit and how to fix it.The Price was affordable and they treated us like family through the entire process.     Jeffrey, Carol, anyone!! I spoke to at the company was a joy to work with!! From the 1st call to after service care, they are very professional and personable. Jeffrey, at the service appointment, was awesome!! He took time to answer all of my questions (I had many!!) without me feeling rushed or that I was bothering him. He further provided suggestions on things we could do towards the upkeep and extending the life of our HVAC unit between service appointments.     Our hot water heater conked out on us and I reached out to Blanton & Sons the next morning. Kayla got in touch to see if someone could come by to help us. Wesley was able to work us in and by that afternoon he was able to bring the materials back to the house. He was finished the install and put us back into ā€œhot waterā€ that same day. He is a very nice well-mannered, helpful young man. Kayla was great to work with also. This is the second time they were able to help us out with a project. I highly recommend Blanton& Sons for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

    We had an emergency with our hot water tank while we had company staying with us. Mr. C Stacey came and gave us the quote after his inspection, felt the urgency needed and promptly set about finding us the best replacement for our system in the shortest time frame. Without anyone close by to actually do the installation, he took it upon himself to spend one of the hottest days of the year, doing the install himself when its a usually a 2 man job. He worked tirelessly all day to cleanly and efficiently remove all our old equipment, rework some original fittings and leave our home and space tidy, unit installed and a thorough check to make sure our hot water and taps were back in good working order. Mr Stacey did all this while patiently answering any questions we had, being friendly, personable and upbeat. Super impressed by all his dedication and hard work for Blanton and Sons. Would recommend him to anyone!

    My coil couldnt keep up with the heat so I call Blantons to find out what the problem was. They came the next day and did a complete inspection. A video they made pointed to a leak in the evaporator coil and a couple other small things that needed attending to. It was going to be over the weekend before they could get the part and come back to install it. They loaned me a floor unit (they installed it) so we could keep our bed room cool. They came back on schedule and spent over 5 hours installing the new parts and testing the unit again. From start to finish the lead tech (Mike, and his assistant Garret) were extremely professional and made sure they did a good job and then double checked everything. They provided videos throughout the process for me to see what was going on. I am very pleased with the service and the techs. I am confidant they did a great job and would not hesitate to call them again.

    Justin came to the house to troubleshoot my AC unit and I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was very thorough and when he found the issue, we sat down and he explained what was going on with the unit as well as a plan to resolve the issue. The following day Austin who obviously loves his job came out to perform the repairs and was also very knowledgeable and professional. I was skeptical about someone different coming out to do the repairs but Justin ensured that Austin knew exactly what needed to be done and it was done well and he even cleaned up his mess.     I have the Blantans WOW service package, and it has taken so much stress off when Im trying to locate a COMPETENT professional for systems in our home. This week, a plumbing tech named Collin D. came to our home to flush the water heater. He asked me several specific questions about the water heater, and he informed me that since my water heater was more than 5 years old, it might be more damaging to flush the unit. He was willing to go forward at my request, but I chose to stop. I SO appreciated this piece of information. I had no idea. Collin was here first thing in the morning and was cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful.

    Feb 08, 2024Wesley F. flushed my on demand H2O system and performed a full plumbing inspection and issued an excellent report. Not too much in the report was a surprise since we have been on schedule replacing fixtures and the like. 2 outside spigots are 25 years old and are at the end of service life as well as stop valves under the bath vanities. Last on the list is a toilet an original , too low to be comfortable and lacking good flushing hardware and with deteriorating gaskets.Wesley explained everything professionally and respected the house with booties and a quiet presence.Technicians Anthony & Steve today added a new HVAC supply to my elevator shaft. 2 hours and finished with excellent clean up and respect for the house. They even used a vacuum to catch the dust when cutting the ceiling drywall ! Blanton previously installed my Mitsubishi mini split and on demand hot water in the garage. Anthony and Steve were the 5th and 6th techs I have met from Blantonā€™s and all have been courteous, organized, knowledgeable and above all ā€œcleanā€. A pleasure to work with especially the photos of who will be arriving the day of service!!August 8, 2023Derek came to replace a toilet valve and the main supply valve in the garage with ball valves. I took advantage of the August no dispatch fees. Price was better but as we know, there are no cheap plumbers unless you want a hack job!Derek was efficient, respectful of property and most important did a great job in about an hour. It could have been a DIYS job, but that one hour would have taken me 4 !!!November 29, 2023Andrew G was on site to PM my heat pump and mini-split. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional!     Justin and another gentleman arrived, did an extremely thorough job examining the system, and identified many serious ssues on our old (16 years). We can now focus on options for a new uo-to-date system with Blanton and Sons.Follow up: We had Alex and John from sales come by and prepare for us a good package with high efficiency American Standard HVAC system with Honeywell controls.Today: Martin and Zak came by and did the installation work. They took their time to do a thorough job and made sure everything tested out fine. Martin then set up the Honeywell thermostat, getting us online withour new system.I was very impressed with the process and happy to now have an efficient, brand new system.     Iā€™ve been a business owner for more than 30 years, and I know that ā€œcustomer serviceā€ is a phrase many businesses often use but donā€™t truly care about when it comes down to it. We recently purchased a property and noticed an issue with an HVAC unit Blantonā€™s had installed a couple of years earlier so we called them. They handled it quickly, professionally and reasonably priced. Marshall was the first tech dispatched to us. He identified and corrected the issue, and his communication and rapport were excellent. A few weeks later we wanted some help with a few other things during our renovation of the property, and Wesley and Mike addressed them promptly and with the same level of service and detail as Marshall had. Wesley has helped us a few times with plumbing services during the renovation and heā€™s always consistent. We had a minor scheduling issue at one point and once the administrative team realized the miscommunication they moved very quickly to rectify it the same day. My wife and I were both impressed with this company, and will continue to use Blanton and Sons in the future. They truly understand what service and quality mean.

    Their quoting was competitive, and they were VERY professional and responsive. They recommended Rheem equipment with good reviews rather than the bottom dollar to skimp or the top to rip us off. Rheem provides a good value! They did a Manual J to ensure we had the correct capacity even adjusting it for us to give better dehumidification. They increased our return ductwork bc their air balances showed that they could improve. They even worked with us to place the equipment in a way that lets us use our attic for storage more effectively which is like gaining another room in the house! The updated thermostats are smart but not $300 like the nests which are a rip off. The service contract saved us $700 overall and we are glad to know that our systems were properly installed and backed by their guarantee. They even saved me some money by letting me replace the rotted out AC stand myself while they worked on the inside. Iā€™ll trim and paint later, but wanted to review right away bc Iā€™m so happy with how things turned out!If you didnā€™t know, the minimum seer rating will go from 14 to 15 at the end of the year. This will increase the equipment cost for a return on investment that you likely wonā€™t see at all or at 10-15 years. Go ahead and replace your units if you are on the fence, and call Blantons!!

    I called Blantonā€™s with a plumbing emergency on the Saturday before the Fourth of July. Wesley Frierson arrived about an hour later. He was so polite and knowledgeable I trusted him immediately. He had to search for the place to turn my water off and would not give up. Unfortunately, I could offer no clue as to where it was. Once he found the valve, he fixed the water leak in my outdoor faucet and moved it to a more convenient location for me. He had me take a picture of where the main shut-off valve is so we would not be unable to find it in the future. Wesley was terrific. I would definitely use him again.

    I had 3 plumbing issues in the kitchen and 4 in the two bathrooms. Brent came the same morning that I called, and he was polite and professional. I apologized for waiting til I had multiple issues pile up on me and then asking him if he could complete the work today. Very professional, very efficient, and great company.*Update*Justin came through to fix the problem yesterday.There were issues with practically everything with the system. Justin spent from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. to resolve the issue and he did. The prior install was done so horribly.There was so much moisture in the hoses, Justin spent roughly three hours just watching the moisture leave the hoses.The original installers didnt even have anything installed to even push cold air through the house (which obviously you need that for an HVAC). Justin went ahead installed a TSV.Justin also installed a new compressor.That being said Blanton and Sons were true to their estimate and didnt charge anything additional which I am beyond grateful for.     Id give Blanton & Sons 12/10 stars if I could. From the first time I called them, their customer service was above and beyond what I expected. I told them our 28 year old water heater was having issues and needed replacement; they did everything to get my on their schedule within 4 days - sooner than any other company I called. Jessica was so kind getting me scheduled and getting me a competitive estimate. The estimate was specifically for my home and there were no surprise costs. They sent three of the best plumbing technicians to my house. Anthony, Randy, and William were EARLY, got straight to work, and finished in a reasonable time. All three were personable, courteous, and just downright good people. They kept me informed of what they were doing the whole time and did a fantastic job installing the new water tank. I will 100% be calling Blanton & Sons the next time I have issues with HVAC or Plumbing.

    The service technicians messaged me that they were on the way and they arrived on time. They listened to my concerns and the went straight to work on both units.     Our AC unit died late Friday night. I called Blanton & Sons on Saturday morning, and Sarah was able to dispatch someone over to diagnose the situation. By lunch time on Saturday, I had a quote in hand and an appointment for installation of a new HVAC system on Tuesday. Justin and his crew worked tirelessly all day Tuesday to install our new system.     My HVAC went out during the heat wave. I got two estimates for replacing the system. Brent Skidmore beat both estimates by ~$7k. The new system was installed within a week. Brent also provided me with a window unit as a temporary measure until the repairs could be performed.Although no one likes maintaining mechanical equipment...Now my house is an ice box.     I would highly recommend Blanton & Sons. They are honest, friendly, and provide excellent custom service. I called them for a second opinion on heating and air replacement. They quickly assessed the situation, and discovered that I needed a new thermostat. The first company that I called told me that my unit had gone bad and needed to be replaced. So, what could have cost me thousands of dollars only cost me much, much less.
