These guys were awesome start to finish. I had an entire 2nd floor built, and Karlsen plumbing was easy to work with. To start, they walked me through my options how to heat the water. Tankless water heater or bigger gallon. I chose Tankless after reaching and discussions with Joe. He seems to be a very solid guy! He is the owner as far as I am aware, and even his workers spoke highly of him. Ive been in the trades myself for 12+ years, and to have the guys speak well of a boss figure is great. Joe was fair with pricing and, on some cases, beat out non union shops.

My wife and I own a small business and have used Karlsen plumbing for multiple jobs now. We cannot say enough about their professionalism. Fair pricing and outstanding customer service. Id like to thank Bob and Tyler who worked both jobs for us on getting us back up and running as quickly as possible all while doing an awesome job. As customer service seems to be a fading art, we will definitely be sticking with Karlsen for our future needs.

The job Joe C and David did replacing a hot water heater was excellent. Drop clothes were used along the path to haul out the old unit in case there was water/sludge left that could damage the carpet. Joe’s layout and assembly was perfect. Their personality and customer service skills were also very good. I would recommend Karlsen Plumbing for any residential work.

We called Karlsen to repair a sump pump that had failed after hours during a rain storm. They were clear about prices and turn around time. Richard came out and conducted the repair in no time and with great quality. I would highly recommend Karlsen for plumbing repairs

Dan came in and did a great job. He came in and inspected our sump pump and battery backup. We knew we needed a new battery, but he thought the pump was in good condition. He suggested he come back in two years.We also asked him for an estimate on a new full bath in the basement.He gave a couple of ideas and some contractors to call to help build the bathroom.

Today, 7/24/24, Chad was at my house to do a check up on the tankless hot water heater Karlsen installed in my home in 2017. He was on time, polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He answered the questions I had and did an awesome job! I have used Karlsen plumbing since moving into my home almost 23 years ago, and I have not been disappointed….this company, from Joe the owner to the office staff and the highly trained plumbing staff has been beyond helpful and professional providing quality work at reasonable prices. Thanks again, Joe and staff!Karlsen Plumbing has been re-plumbing my 80 year old home over that past 5 years, starting with installing a tankless hot water heater, which I love, and then removing all of the old galvanized pipes and replacing them with copper and flex pipe as I could afford to do so. It’s all done now, and I’m very satisfied and happy with the work! Joe Mangelsdorf is a hands-on, available, professional, friendly owner, and Richard, who has done all of the work in my home is the consummate professional - on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. We moved into our first house which was experiencing leaks from the main water shut off. Karlsen was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint! Joe came over early and fixed the leak and returned the next week to install a complicated waterline for our new fridge. Even though the work involved drilling through our cabinets, I was shocked at how clean the job was! I would highly recommend this business.

Richard was sent over to do work for our remodel. We added a shower to the basement, added a new water heater, new plumbing to kitchen, new hot/cold hose bib, all new plumbing for our main bathroom. He did a great job. Very thorough, asked questions about what our plans were before doing work if he was unsure. I highly recommend Karlsen.Edited. This work was done around a year ago, we had two minor issues that were honored under warranty. No arguing or anything. Karlsen is truly a great local company to work with.

Scott came over on an emergency when the water heater gave up its entire load onto the basement floor. He had the new tank we wanted, installed it, took out the old and made sure everything was good before leaving. He was pleasant and efficient, and incredibly nice. After a stressful few hours of dealing with this mini disaster, it was great to have such a positive experience.

I was remodeling my house and was looking for a good, fair-priced plumber in the Kenosha area. I was extremely lucky with Karlsen Plumbing. The price was fair, and the job was done quickly with great attention to detail. Joe and his foreman Bob knew their trade extremely well and thought ahead, advising how to save money without cutting corners on my large project. They did not play the Change Order Game - typical for many contractors today! I highly recommend Carlson Plumbing for new construction or remodeling. Finding a good plumber today is not an easy task.

Karlsen, once again, did a great job clearing my main sewer line in the basement. We have a massive tree, whos roots wreak havoc on our main line on a regular basis. The drain eventually becomes clogged and/or completely blocked in multiple areas of the pipe. Karlsen are the only plumbers who have ever been able to help with my situation and clear the line. They came in under the estimate and got rid of what I was told and believe was one of the worst root infestations theyve ever seen. The drain is flowing better than it has in years and theydefinitely have my future business.

I have used Karlsen a number of times and have been very happy. The price is fair - they definitely dont overcharge. If they quote me higher than another plumber I definitely get full value for the money through the quality of their work and timeliness of service. Furthermore, I just had another contractor out giving me quotes on a non-plumbing project; he noticed the gas line Karlsen ran for my stove and stopped to comment on how quality and professional the job was.So thanks, Karlsen! Ive used them for multiple jobs. The last one I had a grease trap installed had an estimate and it was cheaper than the estimate. That says a lot about a company. Would recommend them for any plumbing job

I use them any time I have any issues regarding my plumbing.They were called to replace a gas valve on my stove that was ancient and were done in 15 minutes ( it was an old iron one that was twisting when it was being moved and the gas had been leaking ..
