Evan, Alex, and the Luongo team do first rate professional work. I had a ceiling that was leaking water from the building’s roof into my unit.They did amazing work of cutting the ceiling open, making all the repairs, and doing the dry wall for the new piece of the ceiling and repainting, such that it looks like the original with no sign that any work has been done ever.Before cutting up the ceiling, they spent hours to meticulously build walls in order to prevent dust from getting onto other parts of the room.They cleaned my wood floors after every session and at the end even had Samantha (Evan’s wife) clean my wood floors with a steam mop.These guys are so great to work with. They care about doing the best job for me as possible and are all such nice people.Most highly recommended for your contracting needs!

Evan and his Roofer Abe did a phenomenal job replacing the roof on our Condo building and fixing the Roof headhouse. They identified all of the issues a previous contractor had missed and why we continued to get leaks. He and his team always showed up on time and when they said they would. As the work was being done, additional issues were found and pointed out. In most cases Evan was generous in only charging us for extra materials and not the labor to bring it there or to fix some of the mistakes. The team worked long days to make sure that the roof was secured and not exposed between work days and also cleaned up after themselves leaving no traces. Our association is very happy with the work and the way Evan kept everything within our budget. We will be using Luongo Contracting for all future work

First Job with Luongo dealing with a masonry repointing and waterproofing, requiring a lift, sidewalk protection etc. Job was complicated by the historic nature of the brick work. Negotiation for the cost estimate was very fairly handled.Luongo contracting was very amenable to on the spot redesign which worked out well and was acceptable to the local historic commission. Evan was very easy to communicate with throughout the project and was clearly committed to a successful end result. We have had several heavy rains since, and there have been NO reported leaks in the prior areas which formerly leaked with every heavy rains-so great success!!

Great work from these guys. Evan was awesome. He was really responsive and came out quickly to get me an estimate for our bathroom repairs. He checked in frequently over the week or so that we were having work done to make sure everything was going well & that we were satisfied. Alex and Nick did a great job fixing my bathroom ceiling, everything is as good as new. Were satisfied with the work and the great service, they were all super nice and easy to work with. I hope we dont have any home repair emergencies again, but if we do, now we know who to call! :) Highly recommended.

Got in touch with Evan through a friend after a previous contractor bailed on us. We couldnt be happier and I wish I went with Evan to begin with. He came out to us the very next day after we called to assess the job and him and his crew got right to work on fixing up what was left behind. Quality of work along with speed was excellent. Communication was also excellent, and Evan kept in constant touch with me each day, since I had to be away from the house a couple days. We have a lot of work left to do around the house and plan on continuing to use Evan and his team.

Evan worked on several projects for us, and we highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work.We had a lengthy list of small tweaks we wanted, plus a couple more involved projects. One was to add a solid structure to an open doorway above a staircase so that a baby gate could be securely installed. Another involved drywall adjustment so that we could hang our preferred bath cabinet. In both cases, finished work looked as if it’s “always been that way” – well matched to existing pieces.Evan and his team were professional, courteous, tidy, and delivered what they promised. I had a major pipe problem which exposed the ceiling in my dining room. Luongo Contracting came right away to prep for the plumbers, keeping the dust at a minimum. Within a week, you would never know there had been a GIANT hole in the ceiling. Evan made sure to make my dining room ceiling like new. His team is amazing, friendly, quiet, and totally competent! Evan and Nick did a great job on a really difficult crown moulding job. The rooms we needed done had very uneven walls and if you know anything about crown moulding, that makes the project extremely difficult. They were really dedicated to getting it done right and not taking any shortcuts. When I told them they could cut a few corners if it made things easier, they said, “We won’t sleep tonight if this isn’t done exactly right.” That alone should tell you how committed they are to quality work. In addition to the work, they cleaned up before they left and we could not have been more happy with their work and effort.

Luongo Contracting was amazing to work with. Evan and the entire team he put together for this project were professional, personable, hardworking and efficient! The project was replacing 20+ ft of 0-4ft high raised cement sidewalk built into the side of our house that was causing moisture inside.... It involved a lot of cement demo, then waterproofing, rebuilding with correct pitch, and replacing a corroded embedded downspout we found along the process.... Quality of work and attention to detail was awesome.The site was cleaner when they left-no trace of the work done at all .Thanks to all the guys, especially Evan, Alex, Mr Demo (Nick) , and the mud cricket (Scotty) ! Even came to us from a recommendation from someone we know and whose judgement we trust. So that helps, but having work done on a property where you can’t be there to see the progress because you don’t leave nearby, requires a leap of faith. And Evan did not disappoint! He called often to let us know of their progress, or if there was something they needed to make a shift on, like they did with us, they gave us solid reasoning for the change. He explained everything well and he also sent us photos to keep us posted. The work they do is top notch. Professional GC that makes your life a breeze during the house renovationWe hired Evan and his team to renovate our home. We upgraded the electrical panel, refinished the hardwood floor, finished our attic space (with insulation, lighting, cabinets, new windows and new floor). From my project, I really trust his experience and decision to produce good results.My project: My HVAC was walled off and not accessible. My initial worry was that I was going to pay for someone to take down part of a wall and add an ugly wood panel just to access my HVAC. Instead, Evan proposed a wonderful solution to make a panel to compliment my apartment. He made and painted the custom wall panel onsite. Evan and Oliver came to my home within days of my inquiry and were easygoing, professional and happy to explain things to me. I had woodpecker damage on the exterior of my home which was worse than I previously thought and the guys were able to fill and repair the areas for me. While I cant speak to the business, I would imagine that Evans selfless nature and abilty to help a stranger who he witnessed crash his motorcycle, by stopping on a busy road and placing a cone prior to getting my bike back up and over to safety and away from the road. He continued to offer more help than I could imagine, all while ensuring I had everything I needed and providing friendly support to a total stranger.If Evans good samaritanism translates into his work-ethics (as I believe it does) I would recommend him to anyone for any of his services.To Evan and your Wife - I will be forever grateful for the way you stopped to help me in my time of need. I discovered Evan and the team at Luongo Contracting, as an abutter to one of his job sites. Core to their presence is a respect for not only the project, but the neighbors where the project was underway. Luongo Contracting stands out as respectful of a project’s abutters, which is typically not the case.This led to me hiring Luongo Contracting for a project. There is an immediate sense of trust as the situation was related to inadequate work performed by another contractor. Evan explained in a clear manner that I could understand, as well as provided me guidance that it would take a little more time to get it right. During this time, Alex provided constant communication and updates, which was rare for me working with other contractors. I can’t say more how honesty, communication and trust accompanied the excellent work done by Evan and Alex of Luongo Contracting.I would personally reference the team at Luongo and the work that they do! We had a moderate-sized project at our new condo in Cambridge, including work on 2 bathrooms and removal of a load-bearing wall, plus updating the electrical in almost all of the unit. Hes also done a lot of custom carpentry for us such as a built-in bench, shelving, and radiator covers. They look great! Evan has been fantastic to work with. Evans enthusiasm for the job has made it a joy to work with him.Evan, his crew, and his subs have done a great job. He constantly communicates with us via text or phone, and he has been quickly responsive to any concerns we or our neighbors have had. With Evan we have felt that we always know what is going on with the job and that we are on the same page at all times. Anytime we have needed to contact Evan with a question he has been very responsive, helpful, and always courteous.Evans craftsmanship has been superb. Great attention to detail, and he listens to our needs (for example, I asked him to lower the bench several inches because Im short, and he accommodated that request within a day). In situations where we have been unsure about the approach to take on a particular area Evan has been incredibly helpful talking us through the options and offering suggestions without being pushy. Many of his ideas we went with an they came out great every time!Throughout our project, Evan and his team have gone above and beyond. He assisted with a burst pipe in the building that was independent of our project. He does the best job he can for us and our neighbors. Highly recommend.Great attention to detail, going above and beyond.

When our roof sprung a leak I called a few people to give some quotes. While most didnt even go up to take a look and just quoted thousands to replace the whole thing, Evan and his crew went up to take a look and diagnose the specific issue. They pinpointed it and in one day resolved it. They also noticed some other items with the gutter that while werent issues yet were cause for concern. They fixed the areas they could access that day and made a plan to come back another day and inspect the rest of the roof and gutter to ensure the entire roof was fixed before winter and any heavy snow could cause issues. They were extremely professional, explained everything up front, were reasonably priced, and there were no hidden charges. If I have any future issues with any part of our house Evan will be the first person I call, and I only wish I found him sooner when we were finishing part of our basement as we couldve used him for a few other jobs as well in the past. While Im not looking forward to having to call a contractor in the future, when I have to I look forward to calling Evan and his team!
