    As new owners of a home with a GenPro generator, we knew that the generator had kicked on several times due to outages and we were very glad we had a generator. But, we didnt really know much about how it works or anything. Don came to do a routine service and he took the time to really explain to us how the generator works, what to do to best care for it in case of a long-term outage, and how the load shifting works. The maintenance was well done but more importantly we have a better understanding of the product and a great experience with the GenPro team.

    GenPro is fantastic. Whether it is a routine service appointment or an emergency, they have always been reliable and prompt. We appreciate their professionalism and experience and trust them to get the job done every time. Most recently we had a severe storm that sent a power surge through our neighborhood and fried our generator module inside the service panel in the house. The generator worked but the power wasn’t coming into the house. I placed an emergency call at 3AM and spoke to Melissa who was wonderful even though I clearly woke her up. She got our information over to Kelly at the office and she scheduled Don to come out before his first appointment. He was prompt, courteous, and knew exactly what the problem was. He had it fixed in an hour. Not only that, I greatly appreciated him showing me how we could bypass the transfer switch in an emergency if this issue happened again. We would give more than 5 stars if we could for the service that we receive. Thank you, GenPro! You have customers for life.

    I selected GenPro to install a Kohler back-up generator for my home. I am really glad I did. This is one of the most upstanding and knowledgeable service organizations I have ever had the opportunity to deal with.My initial meeting was at my home. Jay came to my house, reviewed my intentions to install a Kohler back-up generator. He checked out the outdoor location, the electrical system and took inventory of the load that the generator would supply.We talked for a while and Jay supplied answers to many of my questions before I even asked them. Having a background in electrical engineering, I was impressed with Jay’s knowledge and ability to convey what I needed to know about installing a generator.I was sent a contract that I signed and sent back with a deposit.GenPro supplied a list of local LP Gas installers and suppliers I could use for the installation. I selected GasTec. I chose to buy the tanks, not rent them. This gives me the option to buy LP Gas from whom I want. I decided on two 120 gal tanks because they could be installed next to the house and still provide about 4-6 days of backup power when tanks are full. Anything larger had to be installed further away.Installation was scheduled and GenPro coordinated the installation with GasTech. GenPro took care of handling the permitting and inspections.On installation day, everyone showed up on time. The gas tanks and line were installed and the generator was installed. An automatic transfer switch had to be installed and some load shedding equipment to ensure the load never exceeded the rating of the generator.This was an exceptionally well-done job. There was a lot of difficult wiring work from the meter to the transfer switch, to the indoor distribution panels, and the load-shedding equipment. Jay did a diligent job.Jay’s assistant (I wish I could remember his name) was excellent. He provided us with all the background information about the equipment, how it would run and what we needed to do if something was not working properly. He provided us with a simplified user manual which helped us understand the system and what we needed to do.I can’t say enough about GenPro. You can’t go wrong by hiring this company. They are ethical, responsible, courteous, and good communicators. Melissa did the coordinating at the office and did a great job of keeping us informed and making sure the installation day was successful.On 12/14/22 I updated the images with the new red siding.

    Jay and the GenPro Power Systems team did a superb job from start to finish. They handled all permitting, checking with the local gas company on existing gas main pressure and even set up an appointment with the gas company to install a new gas meter required to enable our generator. They were reasonably priced, extremely professional and very detail oriented. I could not have asked for a better experience.     I would highly recommend GenPro. Ive been using them for the past few years to service our generator purchased from another company. My only regret is that I didnt find GenPro first before making the initial purchase. They fixed the botched install by the original company and have been servicing our unit ever since. I will share feedback I emailed to them a few months ago.......I would also like to thank Kelli and Don for all of their assistance on my appointment yesterday, and over the years, I have been a customer. Kelli consistently accommodates my schedule and always follows up on all of my requests.     Superb experience from installation (done in a deluge!) to all follow ups (one problem resolved after the tech worked for several hours during a snow event)! Highly recommend these people!!     GenPro did not install my generator, but I sure wish they had! Unit wast working and I assumed it was because I’d allowed the propane to run out. Apparently not, but the tech found that it had been installed incorrectly and the unit was never set up for LP gas! 18 months it’s been running on natural. No wonder I went thru 150 gal of propane for 55 hours of operation time. By the time he was done my unit was working perfectly and has been cycling on as it should once a week. Very happy and will be having them do annual maintenance from now on.

Melissa helped set up the initial consult and was always attentive and responsive to my many questions via email. Jay did the consult and eventual installation of the generator at my moms house. He was very honest with me and patient in all my questions. Where others would push for unnecessary add ons, he was honest about what we should get and why, but also made me feel okay if we needed to not include the full house install. We went with the full house installation and my Mom couldnt be happier. He also helped with providing a honest propane distributor who was equally as kind and honest.     After hours of research and meeting with a couple companies I chose GenPro for my whole home generator and transfer switch supply and installation. I can say in all honesty that I would highly recommend them. Not the absolute cheapest but very comparable with other Kohler suppliers and worth a few extra dollars. In all aspects of the process Jay and the GenPro team took care of everything; ordering, permits, inspections, etc. They were professional, up front with a very clear contract on the costs incurred, kept in constant contact with updates on whats to happen next, and followed through with a seamless installation. The installation was beautifully done, the panel work was impeccable with very clean, consistent wire bends (pleasing to eye of an aging electrical engineer). They brought a truck load of installation items and were prepared for any contingency; for example, the weather turned and started to rain, in a few minutes they had large tents set up and continued on with the installation. Pipe cutters, threaders, wire, tools, etc; all were on hand to make the install go quick and painless. After the install inspections also went smooth; gas and electric only took minutes. The electrical inspector, which has reviewed work by GenPro before, literally used the words the best and the right choice for a generator install. This solidified my choice for GenPro as the one to use for a generator install and bolstered my recommendation.

    After doing my due diligence, based on all of the great reviews about GenPro, I chose them for my installation of our 20kW whole house generator. It proved to be the absolute best decision. From the initial phone call to the office, to the visit at my home with Jay and through the installation with Ken and his team, I have never dealt with professionals on the level of this company. They made sure my family got exactly what we needed and completed it all in a timely and professional manner. They obtained all of the necessary permits. It rained both days of the installation. This did not discourage or hinder the crew from performing a top notch job. The relief of knowing we will no longer be without power when the winter storms roll in truly is a great feeling.     These guys are GOOD!!! From your initial call to the office staff to the sales staff to the installers, everyone knows and enjoys their job and is very pleasant. No person or company is perfect but these guys are as close as it gets. Our installation was somewhat out of the ordinary and had some unknown hidden glitches but the installers handled it like a normal day at the office. If youre looking for a high quality company that actually appreciates their customers then GenPro is the one to call!!!

    GenPro installed a whole house generator and exceeded expectations every step of the process. The original meeting to determine what we needed and how much it would cost gave me confidence they had done this many times before. In addition, they explained the process in advance and then followed through on everything. Their original estimate of how long it would take to receive the equipment was very accurate and they handled all the planning and permitting professionally and well in advance. The day of installation was raining & snowing but they came equipped with tent structures, used drop cloths on the floors and left the utility closet much cleaner than when they started. The layout of the different panels and boxes in the closet looks very organized as well. They also went through how to operate the generator, set up the online App and answered all my questions. Very pleased with all the work they performed. The true test will be when the power goes out, but based on their professionalism, I dont expect any issues.

    GenPro was outstanding!! Jay came for the initial visit to check out our property and electric panel prior to scheduling the installation. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had numerous questions and Jay took the time to sit down with us and answer all of them. The day of installation for the generator went smoothly. The electricians that came and re-did our electrical panel did great work and cleaned up afterwards. The GenPro workers were professional and efficient. The propane company we chose (Self Propane) canceled on GenPro two times with 1 hours notice. GenPro was already on their way over to our house and had to turn around each time. The GenPro office called Self Propane way in advance to schedule both appointments. When the propane company finally decided to show up, GenPro was understanding and stayed during the entire propane tank installation to make sure they did things correctly. This was so generous! Melissa and Kelli from the office, were friendly and quickly responded to all of our emails/phone calls. I would recommend GenPro to anyone! Weve had such a peace of mind since getting our generator from GenPro. Ken was also another employee who stood out to us.     Called Genpro on Friday 1/8/21. Not a regular customer and they didnt install our Generac Generator. They answered the phone right away which is unfortunately unusual these days. Very knowledgeable and courteous office lady who answered the call. She set up a service call for Tuesday 1/12/21. WOW super fast. Don came at exactly the time indicated and resolved the problem and repaired. We are now customers with their maintenance program. This place is 100 percent professional. Highly recommend them. The company who installed our generator 7 years ago said 6 weeks to come out! Good-bye to them. 5 ⭐ review. Dont hesitate to call them. Thanks.

    Mike went over the operation of the system and answered a couple of questions that I had. I didnt have many since this was not my first generator purchase. It took about 6.5 hours to install the system in the rain. He gave me a lot of documents that I am still reviewing. If you want a generator installed, I can recommend GenPro Power Systems to do the job for you.

    From the estimate to the installation nothing but professionals including the techs and front office staff. I had 4 estimates and this one provided so many extra services from the extended warranty to the knowledge of the owner that it was easy to choose especially with the competitive quote. This was confirmed from the permit application to the day of install. They measure and center the generator on the pad so it looks nice. Small details like that when looking at neighbors generators show the difference. If there that particular on placement then you can easily see how that transcends into the rest of their work. Very clean install, drop cloths from the entrance to the house right to the service panel. When the electrical inspector arrived, I asked if he was a good contractor- he said that Jay the owner could teach him some things, he was the best. I received his name from a professional propane installer, and amongst the trade he is well respected. They said there are few generator installers who are licensed as electricians AND gas plumbers. He arrived at the house with two other professionals, a licensed electrician and another licensed gas plumber. So including the owner you have two gas plumbers and two electricians who work efficiently and showed true professional craftsman at work. Finally- there are not many owners who do nothing but generators, this is all he does. That is evident by the quality Kohler generator he installs, it is over engineered. He maintains it twice a year, and maintenance is the key for a reliable start up year after year. GenPro power systems are the best. Look no further. james cimbak

    I was looking for a generator for my house and contacted GenPro Systems. Everyone from Kalyn to Jay were very responsive and on top of things and very accommodating to my schedule. Jay came out to do a survey of the house and took time to answer all of my questions and made sure he asked the right questions as well so as to recommend the right generator for my house.I have secud d to move forward with them to do an install which is scheduled for Feb given that they are backed up with other orders until then (another sign of how good they are).I will r commend them without any reservations.

    Ken and his mates arrived on time, worked non-stop for 9 hours, were tidy, pleasant, professional, organized, and totally knowledgeable. If this rating went to 6 stars I would choose that. Kens attention to detail was way above and beyond. At the end, I looked out my window to see if they were finished, and I saw Ken wiping minor smudges off of the generator lid that I couldnt even see. He also noted an odor in the basement that he first thought was from the gas line, but turned out to be from the electrical line tube for the septic system alarm, and took it upon himself to caulk the opening! He also spent time with me to show me the proper way to relight my gas fireplace. This was the most completely satisfying contracted work I have ever experienced, and Im 70 years old.

    Best service call I’ve had in a long time. I was dissatisfied with the service I was getting from another generator service company. I had a recurring problem where the generator failed to start. When I called GenPro they answered my call immediately, collected information about my generator, and explained their pricing upfront. I scheduled a service call. The technician arrived and was completely professional. He carefully explained everything about my generator I had never known before and proceeded to diagnose and fix the problem on the spot. He also explained everything that’s included in their annual maintenance plans which I plan to use going forward.     We contracted with GenPro Power Systems to install a generator to run our entire house during power outages which occur in our area with some frequency. The new system was to replace a 15 year old generator (not from GenPro) that failed in March during the first Noreaster. GenPro was recommended to us by a relative that has a good experience with their installation and service. We met with Jay to plan what would be needed and to schedule the work. The only challenge was the wait to get on their schedule due to the number of customers already signed up. Some initial preparation and removal of the old generator was completed a couple of weeks ago as scheduled, and the final installation was completed yesterday as planned. I was most impressed with the work done in our basement to install multiple panels and the fact that they left the basement clean and organized better than it was before they did their work. I highly recommend GenPro .
