    Lances team was prompt and professional installing a radon mitigation system at our house. Prior to the mitigation system, we would consistently get radon readings between 4-8 pCi/L on my Airthings Corentium Home Radon Detector. A professional radon test kit also confirmed readings were within this range after collection samples for a week. It has almost been a month since the system was installed, and readings now are consistently between .2 - 1.2 pCi/L! This was also confirmed by a professional radon test kit that sampled the air for a week. Very happy with the overall install and results. Would highly recommend Lance and his team!

    We had Lance Dorfi do a small repair on a radon system that was put in by the previous owners of our house.     We had high radon levels in our home and even had another radon mitigation company instal a system but the levels were still too high. Lance came out and throughly inspected the issue and quickly diagnosed what he believed the problem was. He and his crew sealed cracks in the foundation and tapped off the existing system to improve its functionality. In the end the levels are down and almost non existent! I would recommend using Lances company if you’re at all concerned about radon in your home.

    It has been a wonderful experience working with Lance Dorfi and his team. We have accidentally found high levels of radon in our basement. On the day we called, Lance quickly arrived and suggested more detailed testing and diagnosis of the issues. The mitigation was carried out to perfection. The radon levels dropped from 25 to 0.2 in our nasty crawl space. These guys are experts and know exactly what they are doing. Everything went as expected and we are so relieved to have their help!

The system was installed quickly in my desired location and done very neatly within my home the following week. Highly recommend them for very prompt service and they did a very good cosmetic job installing the system and cleaned up any materials and mess they made before they left.

    We purchased our home in Ridgefield, CT 3 years ago - at the time our Radon test was within the acceptable EPA range, we recently re tested and the numbers were higher so we decided to air on the side of caution and remediate. We went with Lance Dorfi Radon Mitigation because they were innovative and thought how to best address my situation as I have a finished basement. They suggested a unique method of remediation where they tie into the footing drains, attaching the fan to the footing drains from the outside so as to not disrupt our finished basement. As it happens this method didnt work because in my home the footing drains didnt surround the whole of the home. So they penetrated the sub slab (from the outside of my home) of my original basement and that of my new addition basement slab with 2 suction points. Their work was tidy, clean and efficient and my numbers are now effectively radon zero !! Lance and his partner Chris and their worker Adam where respectful knowledgeable and very polite, I highly recommend this company ! Thank you !

    Please check your home for Radon! We purchased our home just a year and 1/2 a go and supposedly our radon test was ok ( 2.6 ) yet I decided to Carry out my own test , when I heard of how owners and realtors can mishandle these test and also because we have an exposed sump pump .     Radon on airthings showed about 4 on average. After the system was installed, it went down to ~0.3 (also verified with lab test). The team at Lance Dorfi also helped set expectations along the way...ie why their guarantee is only to bring it below 4 (but realistically results should be better), and how whats below the foundation affects the capability of the fan. Overall good experience.
