    Our experience with Brian at Just Wood and Steel was very helpful in purchasing our steel building. He was great at helping us navigate the entire process. He walked us through step by step with designing, planning, building permit, and even explaining what foundation to build on! Our journey to completion had many zoning/permit layers which we needed to address but he remained extremely patient, helpful, and communicated in a timely and thorough manner.     This is my honest review. I went with the company after searching in the greater lansing area. The seemed to have the best price for about the same quality. What I really liked was at no additional cost we could customize the color, and material. We got to choose if we wanted wood or metal siding as well as shingles or metal roof at no additional cost! I found value in this.We were told it would be 4 weeks until it was delivered due to customer order and they called at roughly 4 weeks to set the delivery up. It was one guy with a machine that delivered it and put it exactly where I asked him to. I was told it would be leveled withing 6 upon delivery. It was leveled however the guy did t have shims to level it with so we had go use wood I had laying around to shim it. I didnt care but other customers might care about this.After delivery I found a few minor imperfections, nothing I cared about. However a bout a month later I went to close the gap at the front of the garage between the ground and the garage so animals cant get under it and I noticed that the insulation we paid for under the flooring hadnt beenperformed. I was worried they would try to give me the run around sense it had already been a month but theydidnt. They just asked me for photos for proof and apologized and about 2 weeks later I got my refund for that add on.For price, quality, and service I recommend you buy from them!

He was able to send us pictures, change the shed we wanted, and still have it delivered on time. The quality of the shed surpasses others we’ve seen and the price was the best in town.     Brian and Brett at Just Wood & Steel were great to work with. I bought a 8 x 12 Garden Shed with an on sight build at my property. The crew that came were excellent and had my shed built in a 1-1/2 hours. The buildings that Brian and Brett sell are excellent quality materials. Brian and Brett fully explained every step in the sale. I couldnt be any happier with the end results.

    Customer service was outstanding for my 30 x 50 barn project. Brian wasted no time to respond to all my questions and concerns. Installation was only 3 days and neat & clean. Once the building was up I realized the quality was better than imagined being level, straight and square. All the screws lined up and colors matched perfectly.     These guys hooked me up with a beautiful 10*20 barn with all the extras and customization I wanted... And Some that I didnt know existed, like an upgraded floor and extra wall height. Purchase was smooth and easy- excellent communication through the process and delivery sooner than expected. A+ Operation, I will be buying from them again!

    I engaged Brian at Just Wood and Steel in December to get my 20x24 shop built on my property to house my motorcycles. I had done quite bit of research on the web about getting this done, and realized just how many pitfalls and expenses can occur getting this taken care of, and how making a bad decision can lead to a TON of extra expenses.I called Brian through a referral from a friend of mine, and he made the trip 60 miles away from his office within a couple of days for a pre-arranged meeting. He laid out all the details, told me what addtions made sense and which were extras or could possibly done by a subcontractor for a reduced rate. We agreed upon a price and I left a deposit, hoping to get a slab poured before the ground froze and winter hit us with full force.As an aside, brian got all the Permits and Paperwork info ready. All I had to do was turn it in to the local office and pay the fee. Super easy.Well, getting the permits took a little longer through absolutely no fault of the company but just getting our local inspectors hours coordinated with my own, and winter hit us with full force. Brian remained cool and we put off the process for a few weeks until we could get the slab poured on the second week of March.Im now looking out my window at my awesome barn, and seriously couldnt be happier. It is exactly what I wanted, and today I plan to sweep it out, level the ground around it from the displaced dirt from the slab, and plan the electrical.Brian is a stellar guy to work with, and I highly recommend him.

    Sales side with Brett and team was easy and awesome. It did take a long time from order to delivery (almost 2 months) but this was mostly due to the delivery company initially selecting a day we were not home (owners cant state a date either, nor does the delivery team know delivery time of day, although we did get a call when the driver was 30 minutes out). The actual delivery and setup today was quick and smooth! We do have an issue with the way they hung the left door, but the delivery person knows the builder and is reporting it for us; they are supposed to call and drive to us to fix this. As long as the door gets corrected (which we expect) I would call this an excellent process from start to finish. Go see Brett and team as you will not be disappointed on the sales side!

    Excellent service!At first the amazing prices attracted me to the sheds. After speaking with the owner, I KNEW I was purchasing from them. Very professional with a touch of family feel. Everything was explained throughly, from materials used to delivery times.If you are looking to purchase a shed or another type of outside building....I HIGHLY recommend you check them out! You wont be disappointed!
