We hired Oregon Abatement for a permitted removal of asbestos containing popcorn ceiling in a home we were remodeling. They performed the work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I would certainly rehire them if I ever have work of this nature again.

Ernie and his crew just finished an asbestos flooring abatement for my house last week. From the first call through completion, they were easy to work with. Oregon Abatement was the only company willing to come to my house and look at the project before bidding it. I was also impressed in how considerate his abatement crew was.

I was mid-demo with kitchen flooring when we found asbestos in some of the layers beneath plywood- I called Oregon Abatement who had been recommended by a contractor friend, and Ernie gave me free advice and then, due to him being booked out for several weeks and me being in a bit of a time-sensitive spot, he went out of his way to call other asbestos abatement contractors in the area and find me someone who could do the work affordably and time sensitively! I guess I cant speak to the quality of the work, but I can absolutely vouch for the quality of the people and the care they will take to make sure the job is done and done well.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. We called them after our basement flooded and upon removing the laminate flooring found asbestos containing vinyl tiles underneath. I called several companies looking for quotes with many of them not responding at all. Oregon abatement answered right away, we discussed the project over the phone, and they provided a written estimate by email within the hour. Work was completed less than a week later and was done perfectly and professionally for the agreed upon price. Everything was very quick and straight forward and they were very pleasant to work with.

We discovered that the tile underneath the basement carpets were asbestos tile. We called several contractors for bids to remove the tile. Oregon Abatement was the quickest to respond. We received the bid the same day Ernie came to look at the house. It was the best bid by far. Ernie and Larry worked with schedule constraints we had. From start to finish, we had an excellent experience. I highly recommend Oregon Abatement.

I removed my basement tiles, but unfortunately, all the black mastic under the tiles contained asbestos. After doing research, i talked with a few contractors. Oregon abatement was quick to respond. The owner came the next day and gave me a very fair estimate. The end price was the estimate, and they got it done the next week. They crew was spot on. Others wanted to send a 2 man crew. These guys came out in force at 8am sharp. A supervisor, along with 3 others and worked like a well oiled machine. My basement has all the mechanicals, but EVERYTHING was wrapped or blocked in plastic, and they had a force air machine to insure no asbestos fiber remained in the house. I had a few questions after it was all done, and the owner always answered my calls. No voice messages.

Fantastic team to work with! I recommend them without any reservations.Excellent communication! Professional, thorough and fair cost compared to others.They abated three ceilings of very old popcorn texture including the crown molding. Cleaned the site and left no trail thru the building.

Easy to schedule, prompt, efficient and cleaned up nicely. I assume they did all the right things to contain the old asbestos drywall. Had to knock them down a star for leaving staples in my wall, base molding and one in my new kitchen cabinets. Not cool.

Ernie (Owner) and Larry (PM) were both very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They reassured me by explaining that the tape in my ductwork was not asbestos-containing tape, as my home inspector had thought, but actually just duct tape with accumulated dust. They really put my mind at ease. When it comes time for a remodel and I find more suspect material, I will definitely be reaching out to them again!

I am a homeowner doing my own remodel project. Part of the scope included removal of asbestos containing shingle siding which I did myself. But then...how to properly dispose of the material?! I called Oregon Abatement and they responded promptly, and were even able to send an abatement tech (Larry..who was amazing) out the same day. Larry was efficient, effective and courteous, and in a short time my hazardous material issue was resolved. Fantastic service and value...thank you Oregon Abatement!

Oregon abatement was AMAZING. I am a first time home buyer and as soon as we go to redo our floors our contractor tells us they are covered in asbestos tiles, whomp whomp. I found Oregon abatement online, they gave me a quote over the phone that was half the price of other companies, and they were able to schedule us within 10 days!!! They stuck to their price and removed all the tiles in under half a day. I can’t say enough good things about this company, I will refer them to all my friends in the future!!!
