    A wonderful experience. I had an emergency job today for heating and electrical issues. The technician arrived on time, explained everything, ran the diagnostic tests, called again and explained everything to ensure I was okay with the needed work. After finishing the work they called again summarized all that had been done and had convenient payment arrangements. This was so helpful as I am out of state and was selling that property today. He put the icing on the cake and allowed us to close! Great job!

    Jordan did such super quick service. Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and kept things nice and clean while working in the bathroom. Used all parts and a new GFI and upgraded the wires to code. I cant thank him and the team enough.

    Jordan and his team were incredible. We used them to remove an old wired security system and to install a ceiling fan and large dining room light fixture. They arrived promptly and before doing any work, laid down drop cloths and plastic to protect the floors and any furniture. They also did a full house safety inspection and provided recommendations of things that we should consider in the future. They provided quotes on the spot if we were to use them and they were emailed to me immediately. Very convenient!As far as the installs, both the fan and light were installed perfectly. He made sure the ceiling boxes were appropriate for the fixture, replaced as needed, and even reinforced one, just to be extra safe. He made sure to check in while installing and make sure I was happy with the placement, height, etc. Really appreciated that! Both fixtures look amazing and we are so happy.We will definitely be using them again for other work. I have full confidence they will continue to provide exceptional work. Thanks!

    Craig was great! He explained everything, advised us about the changes we need to make and put our fears to rest. He came himself even though there actually hadnt been an available slot for the time we were given. We will be using Home Ops to make the upgrades we need and will be glad to consider them our personal electricians!Update- Jordan came today, 12/9/24 & started doing our upgrades and he was fantastic. Hes coming back tomorrow to finish the job.Update #2- Jordan came back today, 12/10/24, and was awesome. Very professional, courteous, diligent and takes the time to make sure everything is done correctly. Unfortunately we need A LOT of upgrading so tomorrow hes coming back one more time. I highly recommend Jordan and Home Ops!FINAL UPDATE- Jordan came back as promised and finished the job. All upgrades to the electric have been done. Again, everything was done courteously, professionally and everything was explained to us in a way that was easily understood. Jordan is absolutely wonderful. A very hard worker and very meticulous. Any time we need any other electrical work, ie- installing a new fan....we will call HomeOps. Very, very glad I called them.     Ok update after talking with the owner, seems like a big communication snafu through the scheduling system. He reached out and was super kind about getting me back on the schedule. I really appreciate the effort.After three missed appointments, I am giving up. I can understand having things run late and needing to reschedule, but after setting a new appointment they proceeded to show up at a different time when we explicitly told them we werent available and then act like we missed them. They then didnt have a record of the latest new appt when I called after the new time slot passed. The scheduler tried to help, but it seems my call got lost in the shuffle somewhere.

Fortunately, Anthony and Carlos were able to come right over. They investigated, and found a poor installation of a bathroom fixture. It couldve been much worse. Made the repair, installed 2 GFCI in my kitchen at my request and now I feel safe and confident that all is working properly. Will say it again: I would call Home Ops first ALL the time!     Our technician,Wilmer, arrived within the time frame we were given. He was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and he explained exactly what was being done. After he was finished, he left the work area spotless. I would highly recommend CSF Electric for all your electrical needs. If you are fortunate enough to be able to request a technician, Wilmer is excellent. However, we have used other technicians from CSF and they are all top notch.

    So, I had Craig from Home Ops in Port Jefferson come to the house to repair some electrical work. One outlet just stopped working, another was open and unsafe and needed a plate etc. Craig and his guy Jimmy came and did a great job with the work that needed to be done, but also did a workup in terms of other things that might need to be done to make the place a bit more liveable; our house is an oldie in the village. They fixed what was in need of repair. What struck me most is their professionalism and their neatness. They were also just very nice and down to earth in general. They were careful; I had a one year old running around. They made sure to close the baby gates behind them and to let us know when they were coming back up from the basement so as not to hurt the baby. Honestly, its one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Later that same evening I had a problem. Electric to my bedroom and my daughters bedroom was not working. I texted Craig and he responded immediately. He apologized, though I dont believe he did anything wrong at all, we just had really old faulty wiring. Craig and Eddie came this time and were in my house working within about 15 minutes of the original call. Again both were super nice, neat, and fixed the problem within an hour, no charge. Bottom line is I cant say enough. Theyre terrific.

    CSF Electric came through for us once again. This is the second time we used this company and we are beyond pleased with their work. During this past heatwave our wall AC unit needed to be replaced. We purchased it and had it installed from an outside company but the wire was about two inches shy of reaching our current outlet and the outlet needed to be moved. We called CSF Electric and they were great about coming the same day since my wife and I are a bit older and have some health issues and really couldnt be without the air conditioning.Their timing was spot on and our electrician, Will S. was top notch! He called before he arrived and when he arrived he asked us to explain what we needed from him. From there, he evaluated the situation, came up with a quote for the work and got right down to business. He was quiet, professional, and super clean as he worked. We are definitely pleased and will be calling them back!

He left, and I had zero questions.. and what really made me write this review was the fact that other companies gave me a hard time because I couldn’t be home before 6:00 as I work 7 days a week and don’t get home till then, not only did he come to give me an estimate after hours but he also came personally to complete the job after hours accommodating both my fiancé and I.. Very professional extremely dedicated and very observant to the order of their business. I want to share my story about HOME OPS.. a day after Christmas in 2020 I lost half the power in my house that night I had no power my electric meter caught on fire from the power lines coming from the street electric company took the burned out meter and left.we were powerless called HomeOps.within the hour they were there gave us temporary power for a day.they came back on a Sunday and had everything in order to be inspected by Monday.     I called last night around 9. Id been having trouble with an outlet that was sjaring the same circuit line with another room and the upstairs hallway. Wed been having some trouble with it on and off for a couple years but never to the extent where I couldnt just flip the switch on the breaker and it be fixed. The dispatcher was awesome. Shortly thereafter Craig called me to see what was going on and hed have someone to me before 10 pm. Wilson arrived at 10. He was polite, professional and gave great attention to detail. Checking the breaker...switch by switch....then opened each outlet upstairs in the mentioned rooms to see where the trouble was. When he found the outlet he said yes the needed to be done and showed a fried wire. Anyway by about 11:25 pm last night the job was done. Could I have waited till this morning? I dont know. Regardless the company is great and I highly recommend them----Rob, Mt. Sinai.

    Very clean and very professional. Asked about installing an attic fan to help cool the house. Told me that he didnt think it would help that what I had was fine. I appreciate his honesty. He could have just as well told that it was necessary and installed and charged me for something I didnt need. A lot of others wouldnt have done that.
