    We had a whole house soffit, gutters, and some vinyl siding. Communication was quick and professional. Terms were very good. Work was prompt and on schedule. I would recommend Grennan Construction to anyone going through the process of evaluating contractors for this type of work. Other contractors (and online reviews) fell short of our expectations. Fred was helpful and friendly - not pushy at all. Daily and final cleanups were on target. His team met all of our needs and were very responsive on follow-ups. We are very happy with the costs and results.

    I recently had Grennan Construction replacing my old roof and gutter system, and they did an exceptional job!     Im glad we went with Grennan for our homes siding - changing from wood (T1-11) to vinyl. A siding project can cost ~10% of your homes value, and thats a significant investment for our family. So it was important to go with someone with a reputation like Grennan.They stand behind that reputation. There will be always miscommunications and deviations from plan with any project this size (from quote to final install), but Grennan immediately addresses all issues and concerns. The owner was great upfront with advice on color/style (the 3D render tool is great), the overall projects manager Brandon and our individual project manager were highly communicative and took personal ownership of issues, and the team assigned was fantastic. Brian and his crew treated my family and our property with so much care - INCREDIBLE respect - and answered all questions promptly.Were really happy with how it turned out.

    We needed our chimney and cap redone due to rot. Fred and his team were excellent to work with. Every step of the way we were communicated with as to the status and during construction.     They finished our job recently and did a great job! Our house looks much more updated then it was and the finished job looks so clean and nice. They installed new soffits, siding and gutters. We have already referred others to them. They were quick and when things came up or if there was a miscommunication it was taken care of without issue. Everyone we spoke to was very nice and professional and we are happy with the work they did. We will be contacting them again when its time for a new roof.

    I needed some help to make a simple piece of flashing that was not commercially available for my house - I called around and could not find anyone to help me since it was such a small job. Fred at Grennan had no issue with making it for me at his shop and didn’t charge very much at all. I will be using Grennan for future work just because of how they treated me. Amazing.

    We had our house resided by Grennan. It was a large project and had a number of complicatingfeatures. Grennan Construction took the time upfront to help us pick the color and style of siding that we would be happy with. They were not pushy, but instead were very patient, helpful and responsive. The owner was personally involved and offered many suggestions. The cost estimate was reasonable and the timing to do the work fit our schedule. The construction crew did an outstanding job and took care of all the details to make sure we were happy with the job when it was finished. They planned their work, and did the end-to-end craftsmanship and collaboration necessary to neatly replace some pretty needy bay window repairs in conjunction with recent window replacement.They were detailed, responsive and worked through some pretty awful conditions with the recent weather.

    Very happy with the decision to hire Grennan Construction to reside our house in Hardie Board, build a front porch and side door covering.     UPDATE: Allan came out today to inspect and blow off and clean our gutters. Meticulous work. Wed looked at several types from several suppliers and these won hands for value and performance. Fred and the Grennan go all out to take care of their customers. I feel like theyre family to me.     Had Grennan out for exterior work on house, new roof and gutters. Would recommend them to anyone. I hear stories of how seniors are taken Advantage of. We always felt respected and our house too.     Fred and his crew did a fabulous, professional job replacing my roof. They also installed a remote controlled skylight with a retractable shade.     This long-past-due review is for a roof installation job performed at my mother-in-laws house several years ago that I coordinated with Fred at Grennan Construction. Freds crew did a fantastic job on the tear-off and installation of the new roof, as well as handling the replacement of rotted sections of some fascia boards and a soffit under the porch area. Their work has held up extremely well. We would definitely consider using Grennan Construction for a future project.

    Fred have an ultra competitive bid to side my whole house and put up new gutters. He handled every obstacle that came about during the residing, including rotted boards under the only siding, sophets and the edge of the roof. He never asked for more than his original bid, his crew was clean and respectful, he finished on time and has come back more than once for weather related repairs. I highly recommend Fred and his team at Grennan - have sent him to many of my neighbors already!

    We had a great experience with Grennan Construction. We originally hired Grennan to complete a siding replacement for the gable over our garage. Originally a simple rip and replace, it turned into a more complex project. In addition to replacing the old siding, the Grennan Team also complete some siding and window framing work around a back window.The team was very responsible and maintained contact with us throughout the process.     We used them to repair our siding and they were fantastic! They provided a VERY NICE, in-depth booklet for the estimate with a complete breakdown of all the work and cost. Their prices were great, especially compared to places like Hansons who are extremely expensive and over priced. We saved a ton of money using Grennan Construction!!!Everyone was very friendly, HONEST, and easy to work with. They will tell you what you need to do and what you can wait on. The response time was quick and the work completed was top notch!Overall, very impressed with them and their work. Will definitely use them again on future projects!!!

    After years of an ongoing problem stemming from roof design, Grennan Construction identified the problems and offered solutions to choose from. They performed the work timely, the crew was great, they followed up, and they came back out after the job was done to prepare us for the next winter.     Grennan Construction replaced my soffit and trim and redid my gutters. Quality of work was very good, and Grennan was competitive on pricing. The overall project took longer than I expected, driven mainly by labor shortages as well as additional work that was found to be needed but not captured in the pre-project quotation.Two guys on the crew were very experienced and hardworking and kept the project moving along. I am appreciative that they tried their best. It seemed like the rest of the crew was hit or miss, and tensions between the workers were evident.Overall, it was a more challenging experience than I anticipated, but I am happy with the end result.

    Last season replaced roof overhangs trim and gutters could not be more pleased with the outcome. Not a large job but couldnt have told that from the way the company treated it. All people from quote to completion were very caring and professional.     We are very pleased with the service and professional character of Grennan. The workers were courteous and a joy to work with; very knowledgeable and professional in all that they did. Grennan did a complete tear off of the roof, re-bricked the chimney, tore out our old brick front porch and front fascia and redid all the siding on the house. If is like having a whole new house! We have had everyone comment that they love the work and the colors, from our next door neighbors, to our mail-lady, to even strangers passing by the house. They did a quality job!

    Larry and crew worked on our siding repair job on 10/21/20. We were pleased with their quality work and when completed they reviewed with us what was done. His team tore off my old roof and replaced it with new gaf dimensional shingles, installed ice guard and fixed and replaced sections of damaged gutters.     It was a pleasure working with Grennan Construction. I have used them in the past on the problematic roof of an older condominium building. Our association has had more new roofs than necessary over the years. Most of the companies just covered up the old shingles without addressing any of the problems. Grennan Construction addressed ventilation and drainage problems which lead to the early demise of the old roofs. They provided a detailed plan including multiple pictures and explanations of the remedies. I was so impressed with the job that when I had gutter problems on my home I called them again. They did not let me down. They installed new gutter guards without any problems and to my ultimate satisfaction. Thank you Grennan Construction! I will not hesitate to use them again. I give them my highest recommendation.

    I’ve had a couple roof/gutter issues with my newly purchased home and had Grennan construction out. From the initial conversation, until jobs were complete, I was treated with the utmost respect. Honest, trustworthy, affordable and quality service! They communicated with me every step of the way. Some businesses treat women like they don’t know anything and rip you off. This company did not. I was able to compare pricing with other competitors. No one came close to these guys! Grennan construction will always be my “go to” company! I’ve even had custom closets made by them! Never disappointed. You will not be either!!

    Excellent experience with Grennan Construction.I was referred to Grennan by my mom who had them replace the roof on her house several years ago. After experiencing a leak due to the design of the roof (not Grennan’s replacement) Grennan stood behind their work and worked diligently to resolve the issue. Before replacing our roof, my wife and I called several contractors for quotes.Of the quotes we received, Grennan’s was the most detailed and comprehensive. Mike Grennan spent more time preparing an estimate and talking with us about our job than any of the other contractors we called. He also made himself available for numerous phone calls to explain the details of his quote and those of his competitors to ensure we could make an informed decision. After deciding to award the work to Grennan, we received thorough and responsive service.During the course of the job, we encountered some minor issues with the installation. Immediately upon informing Mike Grennan of our concerns, he was out to personally inspect the work and oversee the effort to make it right. I am very pleased with our experience with Grennan Construction. They provided us with excellent customer service before, during and after their work. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

    The Installation began with a nice stretch of Michigan fall weather, but the next day a heavy snow appeared. The project slowed by the weather. However, the roof completed with final inspection performed by Adam, a Grennan supervisor. He was an excellent contact person during and after the installation. A small problem we noticed. A call to Adam, he and the crew chief of the installation team came out looked at the item. It was immediately fixed. We have experienced no issues. I would recommend the use of Grennan Construction. The company stands behind their work.

    Fred rebuilt a chimney for me on my 12/12 roof. they removed all the framing and rebuilt it with added structure. the workers were knowledgeable and professional and the cost was very fair. they arrived when they said they would and worked for several days without causing any collateral damage to the roof. I would give them first chance at any future work.

    I hired this company to take over a siding project from the previous company that incorrectly installed my siding. Overall, it was a good experience, and the siding was installed correctly and with care by them.The crew was pleasant, hard working, and respectful. I would use them again, even though there are a few issues I’m not happy with.The trim work on two of my arches, a window and covered porch, is disappointing. The foreman convinced me to use a composite vinyl material for the arches, as he said wood is not bendable and using the rough sawn cedar board would cost me, even though this was not specifically cited in my estimate. I think perhaps expertise was lacking in this area, or it was simply a time saver. He assured me the material would match my rough sawn cedar, and not be noticeable once painted and it would hold up better over time. He said the material texture was just like my rough sawn cedar, and urged me to agree to allow its use, and I’d be happy. The work was done during very overcast days, and onset of winter. Once the job completed, and the cold set in, I began to notice the obvious difference from the street between the wood and vinyl of the arches, and I’m really disappointed with it. It’s glaringly obvious, and others have begun to notice it as well and ask me about it.I wish I wouldn’t have allowed them to convince me that not using wood was the definite way to go. Wood was originally there, and still should be, bendable or not. It’s not an uncommon occurrence in home building. Had I known the outcome in appearance, I would have withheld partial payment until it was corrected.I’ve made several attempts to reach the foreman directly, as he specifically requested, and received responses that became no show time frames I stayed home for. There were a few other minor things, such as bent flashing, touch ups, and broken and bent sprinkler misters in the garden.All simpler fixes. The owner contacted me weeks ago and he said he would have the crew get on it asap, but so far I’ve heard nothing. It’s Spring, and I’m sure they are busy again, so I’m trying to be patient.In summary, I would highly recommend Grennan Construction for expert siding, whether vinyl or composite as their work in that area was stellar. The crew I had were conscientious and great to work with regarding my James Hardie siding, which requires special attention. I have neighbors who were happy with their roofing as well. I can’t give a 5 star review at this time, due to the previously described issues.
