I am extremely pleased with the work completed by Spectrum Painting. The painters by far outdid themselves and completed the work with the upmost quality and precision. We had a wonderful experience with Spectrum Painting. The owner, Rich, was very responsive and helpful during the process. Our site leader, Greivin, did a great job overseeing everything and always made sure to check in to see what we thought about the work being done. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. It was also a big project - kitchen cabinets refurbished, and our front door, living room, kitchen, dining room, foyer, and halls all painted, and took the team only 4 days. Our kitchen cabinets went from a hazelnut wood color to what you see in the photo. We are so happy with the results - it feels like we are in a new home!

Jared and Tommy really knocked it out of the park. The whole experience was professional, smooth, and clearly explained every step of the way. There was an equipment problem, but instead of rescheduling and delaying the job, these guys put in extra effort and time to make sure everything was finished by the end of the day.My garage not only looks amazing, but has no more cracks or holes under the door. We had a very positive experience with Spectrum Concrete Coatings. It started when Brian arrived to evaluate our floor. He explained the process and assured us that they could restore our badly pitted and spalling floor. He also showed us some color samples to consider. After accepting the proposal, we weren’t sure what color we wanted to go with. Skylar in the office was very helpful in showing us the flakes which greatly helped us make our choice. Joe and Josh arrived promptly to restore our floor. They were very courteous, professional and efficient. The process was explained thoroughly and they were open to any questions we had. Sebastian from the company stopped by to see how the job was going and asked if we had any questions. We are very pleased with the end result.

We hired Spectrum Concrete Coatings to epoxy our garage floor. From the first meeting to the job being completed, Spectrum was a pleasure to work with. The cost and amount of time needed to complete the job was explained clearly, and we were given the opportunity to choose from an array of colors for our floor. Jared and Stephen were assigned and they completed everything within one day. They arrived at 8:30AM, and didn’t leave until close to 6PM to make sure everything was to our liking. Jared explained how to care for our new epoxy floor and gave instructions on how long to let it dry before being able to walk on it. We would 100% work with Spectrum again, and are really happy with our new garage floor.

We had Spectrum do a complete interior and exterior painting of our home (Spectrum painted the interior and exterior when we rebuilt the house 20 years ago) which also entailed having them do some carpentry repairs/replacement of exterior trim and the rebuild of a basement entry door. The carpenter who did the work (unfortunately I don’t recall his name) was very exacting and did great work. Pam Steinhilber was a tremendous help to us in selecting colors for both the interior, exterior and front door.Spectrum did a terrific job. All of the men who worked on our home, which at times amounted to 7 workers, were respectful of our property and us as homeowners. All of them were well skilled and worked hard to make sure the final product was first rate. The crew chiefs, Roberto for the interior and Greivin for the exterior, kept us well informed and went above and beyond to ensure a well done job. Hector Gerada, the field supervisor, checked in from time to time to make sure that all was well. Overall we were very pleased with the work done and would highly recommend Spectrum.

Spectrum Painting completed a large painting and carpentry job of the exterior of my home. I hired them for their professionalism, quality and carpentry. We had a good amount of damage from carpenter bees and general wood rot that needed to be replaced. After they started the necessary work and I saw the quality of carpentry, we decided to remove shutters and put trim around all around windows. It was a large project and I’m thankful we hired a company who provided exceptional quality workmanship. The staff was friendly, respectful and professional. I found every member of the crew (estimator, crew forman, carpenters, painters) to be helpful and easy to work with, even when I was being a typical pain in the butt homeowner. If quality all around is your priority, don’t hesitate to contact Spectrum.

Working with Spectrum was a pleasure from start to finish. Rich, the owner, came to do my estimate and gave me a verbal estimate on the spot and followed up quickly with a written one. Pricing was very fair. Painters Gregor and Bryand were on time, courteous, professional and did a great job. Gregor told me my ceiling color choice was too dark and he was absolutely right. He showed me other options and went out and bought different paint for the job. I was very happy with their workmanship and left my house spotless. I didn’t even have to vacuum when they left!

I have been using Spectrum Painting for many years because of the excellent service they provide. the painters re totally professional and very skilled and extremely neat. They re very careful when working in a room with delicate furniture, moving it when necessary to get the painting done, but keeping the furniture safe and in perfect condition. They have clean drop cloths that cover everything; and paint only goes where its supposed to go. The Spectrum painters are so pleasant; and they check everything with me after they read the nots I leave them about specific details to be covered. Every room in my home has been painted by Spectrum; and every room looks great. I will always use Spectrum for any painting and paper hanging needs; and I highly recommend Spectrum to everyone.

Spectrum painting is the most professional, through and efficient painting company I have ever had the pleasure to hire. It is all due to the owner, Rich. He is a community minded, honest, hardworking and descent human being, and you cant say more than that about a person. His crew was amazing. Pam, a color and design specialist came over to help with color selection. Her advice on placement of color was just as important as the shade of periwinkle blue we selected. Coordinated by Hector and Nick, the on site Supervisor was Greivin, and the additional painters were Derion and Rolando. They arrived on time, and wasted no time! Their workmanship and attention to detail has basically given us a new house. The walls are smooth, with cracks and irregularities plastered so masterfully that you cant tell where any pictures hung before. The lines are straight where walls meet ceiling, all done with a steady skilled hand. The techniques they used to repair baseboard and trim were excellent. The last time I tried to paint myself, there was more paint on me than on the walls. These pros did not let one stray drop of paint fall. They cleaned up each night so you did not even know they were there. They were pleasant in personality, and respectful of property. Communication was excellent, and Grieving was especially responsive to any questions, specifications, changes, and accommodations. It was a real pleasure to work with them. They are now my painters for life! I have told everyone about them since they painted a house for my friends who both had cancer, for free, because thats what Rich and his company staff does to go above and beyond the call of duty to community. You could not pick a nicer group of skilled people in high to entrust your home!I just had them back to paint my kitchen. I had new cabinets installed, and doors changed out on the old cabinets to match. All the raw wood was carefully removed. Each part was labeled and reassembled exactly as found. The doors were painted off site at Spectrum’s facilities. They came back perfect! The kitchen was truly transformed. The meticulous care to prep was amazing. The amount of taping, wrapping , sanding, spackeling and painting only took a few days. The finishes came out perfect. They even hung a heavy piece of art that I would have messed up on a newly painted surface. They cleaned every speck off every surface and left my new kitchen spotless. There was not one out of place drop! Perfection! These guys are not painters, but artisans! They do their work with heart! Thank you Spectrum !

Hector and Gabriel are two of the nicest people you’d ever meet. We had ALOT of spackling to do in 3 rooms of my home. Things that really needed a team and experience to handle. He made sure furniture was put back where it belonged, pictures were rehung and he even reloaded my laundry room for me. When we had a flood in our bath that leaked into the just painted kitchen, he assured me not to worry and everything was fixed perfectly. We recently had our kitchen refinished. We needed to paint our kitchen as the last step. Our house was built in 1952 and the walls in the kitchen had not been painted since 2002. We contacted Spectrum to get an estimate. Chris came and gave us a written estimate a few days later. He was friendly and knowledgable. He answered all our questions. We decided to accept their estimate.About 2 weeks later Gregory came and did an excellent job. He was very meticulous. Our walls needed a-lot of spackling and since our kitchen is somewhat small it had alot of nooks and crannies which I am sure made the job more difficult. He also painted the trim on our door to match our cabinets and that was not easy either. He cleaned up afterwards and left the place neat and clean.We love the job he did and would recommend Spectrum for any of your painting needs.

I just had the pleasure of using Spectrum Painting to paint the interior of our newly purchased house. This will be a comprehensive review but hopefully worth the read if you are considering hiring a painting company.The first thing you will notice trying to hire a painting company or a contractor is the lack of responsiveness from several vendors. From the onset Rich Lauretta (President of the company) set himself apart from the other vendors in terms of responsiveness. While I received quotes from 5 other companies (many of them provided numbers without inspecting the house), Rich personally stopped by to scope the project. He was thorough in his inspection, patient in answering all our questions and provided an estimate on the spot. To be fair, his final quote was not the least expensive but also was not the most expensive. It was competitive and fair. We also received so much value from his team that at the end of the day, he was most likely the least expensive (they helped and work on thing that may have fallen outside of the scope of work). Spectrum painting has an A+ from the Better Business Bureau. Signing the contract was simple and easy. The quote was the most thorough of all the quotes that I received. It clearly itemized the work, materials, the work to be completed etc. Accepting the quote was done electronically. I asked Rich for proof of insurance and it was provided to me within 24 hours.The work started and finished on time. Hector, Victor, Shaun, Luis and and the rest of the crew were friendly, professional and went above and beyond to accommodate every request. Shaun in particular was outstanding.Rich (president of the company) was amazingly accessible. He responded to every text, every call and even checked on us mid-project to ensure we were happy. I had the opportunity to see him interact with his team and while this may not be important to some of you, the measure of a man is not how he treats me as a customer but how he treats his employees and based on what I noticed (though limited), I was impressed.Finally, what is most important is the work. The work is impeccable. The crew was knowledgeable and was obsessive about perfection. The few small/minor imperfections that they may have missed, they were willing to correct immediately.I cannot recommend Spectrum painting enough. We plan on painting the exterior of our house at some point and I cant think of any other company I would trust to do that work other than Rich and his team.Thank you Spectrum painting for making our dream home and even better investment and place to live.

Spectrum installed a polyaspartic coating on my garage floor. The result looks great, and I would not hesitate to use Spectrum again. Everything was really top-notch. When you’re having home projects done you obviously care about the result but you also want the process and communication to be good. Spectrum had excellent communication, gave me detailed information, and was responsiveness from initial contact to post-installation.Here are some details about the process: I contacted Spectrum via their website at night. The next morning they texted to schedule an estimate. The following day, Dan, one of their estimators, came to my home, took measurements and moisture readings. He walked me through the process, gave me a packet with information, and we picked a color. The estimate was low pressure. Afterwards I got an email with the proposal and estimated cost to review.Once I accepted the proposal and made a deposit, Spectrum called to schedule an installation week. Their first availability was a few weeks out. The week before installation they called to schedule a specific date. The day of installation the workmen, Jacob and Tommy, arrived at 8am. They did a walkthrough of the job with me and answered questions. They worked all day and by 2:30pm they were done. The work looked great, everything was left clean. I was really happy with the work--Jacob, Tommy, and Dan did a great job.

He gave me one that I knew was out of our budget, but then worked with us to see what we can get done for what we could afford. We ended up well within our price range and with a beautiful painting job and flat walls.We were asking them to come to see our new condo during closing so that they could paint before we moved initially. Finally our sellers decided we will close on a Tuesday and Rich came in that day, gave us a hard number and had his guys come paint on Thursday!!!I had an incredible experience on a very strict budget and cannot recommend Spectrum enough.

Spectrum is highly recommended. We hired the company to paint the exterior of our house and they delivered. The company was highly responsive, organized, and communicative leading up to the job. The colorist was great at thinking outside of the box and coming up with colors that really worked well with the house. The company did a power wash of the house and roof to start and I was honestly amazed at how much of a difference that made on the roof. The project manager and his crew were meticulous in their prepping and painting. They were also very professional and polite and wanted to ensure all my requests were met. Finally, the crew cleaned up at the end of each day that you would have thought no work was being done on the house. This is one of the few companies that I’ve worked with on home projects where I trusted the entire process, they were as minimally disruptive as possible, and I could be completely hands off which is a huge deal for me given my busy schedule. Spectrum is my go to painters from here on out.

As soon as I contacted Spectrum, they notified me of the estimated start date for the project to make sure it is within our expectations before sending their guy out for a quote. Painted kitchen, dining room, foyer, stairwell and upstairs hallway. Stained new sliding door and window.The team leader Greivin arrived ontime, described how the team was going to proceed, and managed everything efficiently. Greivin did a great job matching the stain on the sliding door and window to match our cabinets. He showed us several options before staining and confirmed we were happy. He also painted a section of the walls in multiple places so we could confirm the color in different lighting.The team covered the floors with dropcloths and everything else with plastic sheeting. They applied spackle and sanded everywhere - the walls are more even than when we moved in! They were very efficient. Finished everything in two days but did not rush. The quality is excellent. We are very happy with how everything looks.

What an awesome experience! We had spent a full year trying to find a painter who would paint our living room, kitchen, and master bathroom. No one would do it. It was a difficult job that involved wallpaper removal in all three rooms, high ceilings, and lots of windows. As soon as Spectrum stepped into the house, I felt confident that they could do the job. They were communicative and transparent. They sent a team in to complete the job within 2 weeks of my calling them. The team was friendly, efficient, and thorough. They asked questions along the way to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted.Once they removed the wallpaper, they discovered that part of the wallboard was crumbling. They informed me, discussed my options, and replaced the wallboard within an hour. The crew leader even went up on the roof to check that whatever leak had been there had been repaired.The team was as un-intrusive as possible and made sure I was able to use my kitchen throughout the duration of the job. They cleaned up each evening before they left, and they treated my furniture and my house with respect. They did a fantastic job and my house looks amazing! For starters, Rich is extremely professional. He took the time to meet with me and explain all of the paint options. Within 48 hours I had a digital proposal in my inbox that outlined everything that I needed to know about Spectrum Painting and my project. They even went out of their way to replace a piece of sheetrock in one of the rooms even though this was not part of the project. As for the quality of their work...it was outstanding. I am so happy we chose to work with Spectrum Painting! The office manager Natalie was very responsive in setting up our estimate. Initially Rich came our for a detailed estimate and walk through. After going through the numbers and reviews we decided to go with Spectrum. Although they did not offer the lowest cost we felt like we knew what we were paying for. We were in the process of moving into our new home in Wayne, NJ so we would not be onsite to project manage daily. On the day our project began, Rich and his crew leader Brian met us at the house to walk through the project and colors. Brian was absolutely amazing to work with. He would call or text with daily updates and even sent some photos to make sure we were happy with the colors we chose. I felt completely comfortable leaving Brian and his team at our house for the full week alone to complete the project. Everyone was extremely professional, kept the place clean, and wore masks, which is important to us because I am pregnant and my husband has an auto-immune disease.
