Eric and his team were no time, professional and educational. They installed a generator and other minor electrical jobs. I will be using them again in the future as we have needs come up. Ive wanted to invest in a whole house generator for some time but was getting mixed info and costs from other vendors. Everyone wanted to tell me what couldnt be done. Eric came out, answered all my questions, and provided a very reasonable quote for a system that met all my needs and more. He made all the arrangements with the gas line installer and took care of all the details. On install day he showed up with a very professional and motivated crew and did the entire job in one day. When they left the area was clean and I had a fully functional emergency generator system. Everything about the install was workmanlike and Code compliant. Highly recommended.

Bear Rock Electric (Eric Albrick) was outstanding to work with in getting my Generac generator repaired. When the generator motor seized, I had to deal directly with Generac in getting a replacement motor since it was under warranty. My home is located on Ocracoke Island, outside Bear Rock’s service area, and with Eric’s help and many phone calls to Generac’s Service Department, we were able to get a new motor sent to Bear Rock. Eric kept me informed throughout the entire process. He ensured me when the motor came into his facility he would get me scheduled ASAP, and he kept to his word.Eric and Aaron came and replaced the broken motor. They were on-time, polite, informative, and completed the job to my satisfaction. Their customer service was outstanding.It is nice to know that there are still helpful and caring people in the world like Eric and Bear Rock. If you want peace of mind call Bear Rock Electric. Eric is the best! We got our Generacwhole house generator from this company over four years ago. Eric has taken care of it and us ever since then. We live on Hatteras Island and have special medical needs.and this more than just an convenience. if you need great service that you can trust, call them. Thanks for making our lives so much easier!

Being in a hurricane prone area, I thought it best to install a whole house generator. Also being new to the area, I asked around for referrals. The name that consistently came up was Eric Albrecht at Bear Rock Electric.I called Eric to set up an appointment to do a power survey to see what size generator to get. He came out to the house, we talked and I made my decision on the size generator to purchase. Eric was very patient with all my questions.We had some delays due to Covid and severe weather in other parts of the country, all outside of Bear Rocks control but we moved forward.Installation was straight forward with no surprises. It took about 4 hours as I recall.Other than his outstanding technical skills, Eric was very good at staying in contact with me during the whole process from the initial contact to the installation and follow-up. Many emails were answered within a few hours and always never more than one business day. Cant ask for any more than that!A few weeks following installation, we had a 4a.m. power outage due to high winds in the area. The house went black for about 10 seconds then the generator kicked in. When the main power was restored, the generator powered down. Everything was seamless and automatic, just like it was designed. All I had to do was reset the clocks on the stove and microwave.Thank you, Eric and Bear Rock Electric! Youll be my go-to folks for any future electrical projects.

The purchase and installation of my Generac generator from Black Rock Electric has been excellent. From the beginning, Eric Albrecht listened to my requirements and gave details on the type of generator I might need with the complete cost of the installation itemized. From the cost of the generator, labor, parts permits, warranty plans was presented to me in detail and the price held firm even during the long supply chain problem over the last year. Black Rock Electric is a certified dealer of Generac and all installation techs must attend Generac instruction seminars yearly. I was lucky to be working with this dealer and could finally receive my generator. When delivery time was established, I received a 2 week notice of my installation date and the job was completed in 2 days. Eric helped with who to contact at the natural gas company and within 2 days after installation I have a fully operational whole house generator. The attention to detail and straightforward communication gives me confidence that working with Black Rock Electric on future maintenance will be easy. We had our generac installed in October and had our first power outage on 6/17/2022. The generator fired up and ran for the three hour outage. It shut down when the power came on and we couldn’t be happier. Eric and Bear Rock do great work and stand behind it as well. You can’t go wrong with this company.
