    Josh from Zoom Drain was amazing. Not only did he clearly know what he was doing from a technical standpoint, he was kind, friendly, and a hard worker. He went above and beyond to help us with our problem without even knowing what was at stake for me personally. I called Zoom last night for help with an item I suspected I lost down the toilet. Josh arrived and got straight to work with a couple of options and was clear and upfront about what he could do and how much it would cost. He was patient and helpful- and seemed invested in helping us. What had fallen into the toilet, without me knowing, was my late grandmothers engagement ring. She was one of the most important people in my life and I was beside myself thinking it was gone forever. It really was a hopeless situation as far as I was concerned (and according to everything I read online- especially since the plumbing had been used all day without me realizing the ring was missing). Josh found my ring and was able to retrieve it. I know I was very lucky. I will never forget how Josh saved the day today.

    Great service. Actually arrived ahead of the promised appointment and went right after the clogged pipe. Explained everything he was doing, gave me some insight on what he saw in my pipeline with the camera (thankfully no damage) and was done in less than an hour. Highly recommend.     Mj texted me 20 minutes out to let me prepare for his arrival. Was very thorough with his diagnosis and gave pricing up front to approve so no surprises. Cleared the clog and showed me the camera feed in the pipe to confirm. Ran water to check flow, wiped everything down and wore shoe covers everywhere in the house.

    I was very happy with the work that was done at our newly purchased 100 year old home. Michael Thompson, our technician, was professional, knowledgeable and knew exactly how to detect and solve the problem. He remained on the job site to run all the appliances to make sure there were no more clogs. It was a very wet and rainy day and he continued to work until the job was complete and drain was clear.     Overall, our experience with Zoom Drain was positive, especially Dante. The front facing customer service was friendly, and explained everything we could expect. Dante arrived the same day, was friendly and relatable. He worked efficiently and solved our immediate problem. Of course, the price was startling, but when you canā€™t flush your toilet, youā€™re not in a position to price shop. My only negative is the personal information we were texted about Dante before he arrived was more like his dating app profile and really not necessary. TMI.

    Had a slow drain line for the clothes washer and contact zoom, their scheduler was excellent and set me a time for the next day. I received a call 20 minutes prior to the tech arriving and a text about the tech that would be arriving so I knew what and who to expect. The tech Dante was courteous and professional explaining the pricing and process clearly. He was able to comple the work on the spot and get everything flowing normal again. I would recommend using zoom to others.

    Jacob Ellsworth was out to our house for a sewer issue on the Sunday of Labor Day. From the minute he arrived he addressed our issue with obvious knowledge and experience.     Jakob from Zoom was very thorough cleaning out a very clogged cast iron soil stack. He made every effort to properly install a new brass cleanout plug given the cast iron threads were in bad shape. He took great care to keep the work area clean. Jakob has a positive attitude, which is notable given the problems that can arise when working on old plumbing.

    Addendum and final word:My rating is back up to five star for Zoom Drain. The tech and a supervisor came out the following day and got everything moving again. They explained to me what was going on and we discussed options for the future. Thank you so much for getting everything working and helping me to be able to plan for future maintenance! All without a hard sell on services I donā€™t immediately need and canā€™t afford right now!!Added later the same day: so a few hours later Iā€™m having the same problem that caused me to call Zoom Drain in the first place. Called them and now waiting to see if they can get a tech out to reassess and fix. We shall see.ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”The tech sent by zoom drain, Jakob Ellsworth, explained all of my options clearly, listened to my concerns and limitations, and made very helpful suggestions. He was courteous, created virtually zero disturbance for me and my daughter at home, completed the work needed quickly and thoroughly, and made suggestions for further work that might be helpful in the future but didnā€™t ā€œhard sellā€ anything so that I was aware of options but didnā€™t feel pressured to do more than necessary or than I could afford to do right now.     Iā€™ve been using zoom drain for years. And I just had to call them yesterday when I found my slop sinks overflowing. I had water everywhere in my basement and a cracked water valve. They came out immediately and stayed for several hours until it was done. Expensive but worth it. And the people are always so courteous and professional. Awesome group of people.

    Had what I thought was a basement sink clog. Turns out I had a kitchen sink drain line clog 15 feet down the branch line. Zoom came out. Broke through the clog and recommended pipe jetting. Removed thick black sludge and food debris stuck in the pipes. Well they found a sponge in the pipe that was causing the problems. Who knows how long it was there because Ive been here 7 years and never used a sponge. Zoom jetted my kitchen stack and the entire branch line. They also jetted from the curb trap approximately 100 feet back into the house. Now every drain in my house has the whirlpool effect so I think Ill be good. Money well spent.

    As emergencies normally do, ours came up very quickly. Zoom called us within minutes of the referral from our general plumber, who we have used for many years. The timeframe they gave me was accurate and the technician, Luke, was very friendly and welcoming. He took a great deal of time to listen to the story of our emergency, and then check on things inside the house before heading outside to address the issues in the pipes coming from our house to our main street. Entire time he did this, Luke explained in detail what he was doing, and answered all questions that I had. To say he was patient with me would be an understatement. Luke continued to work at the clog in our drain three hours before finally getting it cleared. I am understandably very happy that we did not have to have our entire front yard dug up however, more so then the service itself was how Professionally Luke addressed all of the issues I had. I would highly recommend using this company in the future, and this morning did personally call the offices to give feedback about my experience. The technician not only cleaned out the leaves, grass and other gunk in my perimeter drain but he warned me that at one place roots are just beginning to intrude in the pipe.     Buyer beware. We used Zoom Drain service to clear a clogged line in a bathtub. The plumbing is old. We were told by the technician that the line had a drum trap that was at least 50 years old. He advised that that they break easily and if he damaged it, he would not be responsible for the repair. He also advised that he could not repair/replce the trap. He advised that that the cost for the service would be $360. A very steep price but we needed the line cleared. After snaking the line, the technician was able to clear the line and without damaging the drum trap-- he said there were no leaks. I estimate he spent less than 30 minutes on the job. Total cost $366.The pros: the technician was pleasant, professional, and communicated well. He did what he was trained to do.The cons: the exorbitant cost and the fact that they are NOT plumbers-- they are cleaning techs.

    This is the absolute best place to call if you ever run into a sewer line issue, especially if it involves tree roots. We are new homeowners to the area and had no idea who to get out to look at our backed up sewer line. Our first thought was a local plumber, but they are not setup to handle these types of sewer issues. After two plumbers failed to fix our clogged line, I found Zoom and Iā€™m so glad I did. They came out the same day I called and had the problem addressed in 15 minutes. Tony then spent an extra hour to make sure our line was completely clear of tree roots and ran a camera down to check the integrity of the line. After a brief phone ring someone actually picked up, I explained my issue and was told someone would be out later the same afternoon(I called in at almost 4pm). The employee greeted my family and I in a respectful manor and proceeded to go over possible solutions. We decided to get our lateral jetted, the employee got straight to work and found possible issues but ultimately solved my problem of the day. I can actually say that I was happy to break down and call what I thought was one of the big companies in the area.

He checked the line before and after clearing and even gave it another once over to score the residual root fibers before introducing foaming root killer to the line.

    Very professional but weā€™re not able to completely solve our problem. They did give us pictures and told us the next steps we need to take to resolve toilet issue.Second visit they cleared our dishwasher drain successfully and it remains to be seen if it will work for our first load. Fingers crossed. Fee was exceptionally reasonable. Wish Iā€™d called sooner.

    Really pleased with this company. The give you a 4 hour window but call you 30-40 minutes in advance so you are not sitting around. My technician was amazing. Really nice guy and seemed knowledgeable and honest. Fair price (I think). I would definitely use them again.
