    I needed two new closets built. Derek came out quickly to get me an estimate, and I was immediately drawn to his story of how he started his business. I got a quote that was within my budget, so I went with them. The guys that were here were incredible! They worked fast, but meticulously. They cleaned everything up everyday and completed the work on time. Two of the things that concern me most about construction is the mess and the sudden need to extend the time needed. These guys were impressive, and the work is beautiful!

    We hired A-to-Z Family Business to install a ceiling fan in our high-ceiling living room and add skirting with a groundhog barrier around our deck. They did an awesome job! The ceiling fan was installed perfectly, and the skirting looks amazing. They reinforced the skirting with chicken wire and buried it 12 inches deep, giving us extra protection to keep the groundhogs out.A-to-Z employs top-notch professionals who really know their stuff, and their prices are very reasonable for the high-quality work they deliver. Highly recommend them for any home improvement projects!

    Working with A to Z, from the 1st reach out to the completion of the job, was such a smooth and positive experience. They were recommended by a friend, so I had high hopes & with the way they responded to my initial contact within 24 hrs showed a great start. I’ve had contractors, plumbers, roofers, etc, never call me back or even send an estimate so when Maggie had Derek scheduled the following week to come out to my place to get a full estimate I was thrilled.Derek (the owner) was professional, kind, knowledgeable & thorough. We went over all projects & explain how he plans out pricing, timing & who comes out depending on the project. Even better than the visit, was the estimate bc I was able to price out & choose what projects to do now & what to do later. It was clear cut and the price didn’t change after the work was complete.Scheduling was a breeze with Maggie & on the day of the work, they sent me names & pics of who was coming out & what time. This was huge in making me feel safe with strangers coming to my house.Derek #2 did the handyman work and Gino & Dagyn did the electrical. I cannot say enough about how detailed they worked & how comfortable I felt with them. They checked in with me through projects to ensure I was happy & they tolerated my giant dog being all in their business. Two projects needed to be moved to the following day & it was scheduled before the 1st day even ended.I had an issue with my doorbell camera & Gino came back the following day to fix & ensure the work was thorough.I wholeheartedly recommend this company from start to finish.     Derek P. was at my house today installing a new prehung closet door. The work was quality, and he was able to adjust on the fly when some unexpected fitment issues and missing hardware from the door distributor came up.     My experience with A To Z was so positive that I kept returning to them to complete additional projects. First, A To Z installed lighting and built niches in our master bedroom as part of a makeover. We absolutely love the niches, which allow us to charge our phones and have a cup of water by our bed. A To Z then designed a brand new laundry/mud room constructed with custom storage, including cubbies for shoes and additional uses. I then had A To Z come back to build and paint a shed kit we purchased to store outside furniture in our backyard. The end product is not only functional but beautiful as well!From the very start, A To Z listened to what we wanted, was super friendly and accommodating, and conducted themselves professionally. They were flexible when situations arose (such as postponing the start of a project due to a delay in obtaining a permit) and completed all work in a timely manner. They made sure to answer questions and keep the lines of communication open throughout the completion of a project.I cannot sing enough praises about the A To Z team.     I recently used A to Z for a woodworking project in my home. I had shiplap installed on one of the walls in my dining room and needed it to match the existing shiplap that I already had in an adjoining space. Derek quickly quoted the job, matched the materials perfectly and set me with up Laura who did an amazing job. She was both methodical and meticulous about her work and it shows in the finished product. I’ve also used A to Z for some light electrical, a facet replacement and a custom wood storage rack and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They have quickly become my “to go” company for any repairs or projects I have in my home.

Their pricing was very fair for the work being asked of them and Maggie did an excellent job coordinating everything for the job. The team absolutely killed it (see the photos) and consulted us as they were performing the work (e.g., positioning of the fireplace, trim work, etc.). We will be using A to Z again in the future.

    I’ve used A to Z before for an electric fireplace installation in my man cave and I was very pleased with the results. This time I had an electrical issue I had for 4 years. Electric switches were crossed up and lighting the wrong fixtures. Derek recommended Gino, his master electrician. Gino went to work up in my attic and the ceiling fixtures and found the issue. He rewired two fixtures and their related switches inside the wall and the attic and resolved my electrical outlets properly. I am very satisfied with the results and the clean up. Thank you Gino for sorting out my electrical outlet issue and thank you Derek for sending Gino. I’d recommend A to Z for your home projects.

    A to Z business were exceptional from start to finish. They were always in contact and updated me about the job. This is the only company that could drill a hole into my countertop for a reverse osmosis system. No one else would take on that liability (which I understand). An experienced carpenter showed up to do the job and he was very professional. I will be sure to use them in the future for other projects around the house. Very reasonably priced.     A to Z Family of Business has a smooth, streamlined process, from initial request and quickly receiving an estimate to scheduling an appointment. Everything was communicated well and they give you an ETA within the time range for the scheduled day. The estimated breakdown of each task we requested allowed us to choose which jobs we wanted to accomplish immediately, and which jobs we could budget for and complete at a later date. They cleaned up beautifully, too, when they were done. There is an $89 fee for the first visit and estimate.

    I cant say enough good things about this company. The owner came out earlier this week to take a look at some of the items on my list that need to be done. One of the items included replacing the hardware on the stair handrail as one of the brackets had broken. Today, without warning, a second bracket broke, and the handrail was laying on the ground. I called A to Z in a panic as I need the railing for medical reasons, and they were able to send out Derrick and Albert this afternoon. Derrick and Albert did an excellent job! I couldnt be happier with their work. They were also friendly, polite, helpful with advice, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you to Maggie too! This company and their employees certainly stand by their core values!!Addendum: A to Z came back out to remodel our powder room which had extensive damage to the drywall. Ben then painted the room, and installed new flooring, a vanity, a light fixture, and toilet. A very special thank you to Ben for all his hard work. Ben goes above and beyond. It was a pleasure to have him in our home. Thank you to Melissa, Gus, Maggie, and to everyone behind the scenes that made this project go so smoothly. We are already looking forward to our next project.Addendum: Gino came out to fix an electrical issue, install 2 outdoor lights, and fix broken hardware on the stair handrail.     I’ve used A to Z for 4 jobs now - drywall, build a storm door enclosure and install the door, and replace 2 old sliding glass doors with French doors. The quote they gave me each time was reasonable and exactly what I paid. They talked to me about what I wanted out of each job and left off pieces I would do myself to keep the price down. The finished product was exactly what I expected each time and done on time. What impressed me the most is when the storm door wasn’t up to my expectations, they came out 2 more times to strengthen it and did so with the utmost urgency and didn’t make me feel like I was being a pain. I will continue to use them whenever possible.

    We had some plumbing concerns and contacted A-Z per the recommendation of another contractor. Maggie was very responsive to our internet request and we were able to get a plumber here to fix our bathroom vanity in only a few days time.
