    Dan Waibel Designer Builders built our home over 30 years ago, and did an outstanding job. Their quality of construction, workmanship and attention to detail created the home that we are still enjoying 30 years later.When it was time for an update, about 12 years ago, we again reached out to Dan Waibel Designer Builders. They put an addition on our home that was as large as the original home that included a new kitchen, a library, new family room, exercise room and more. Their work on the addition was as exceptional as the work done on the original home. We are particularly pleased with the attention to detail in all of the kitchen cabinetry, library bookshelves, fireplace stonework, and unique stair design.Most recently they have become our go to firm for ongoing updates such as bath renovations, general repairs and maintenance, and more. The firm has transitioned to the next generation of the Waibel family, and with the transition they have maintained their trademark professionalism, trustworthiness, flexibility and pride in their work, while also increasing their scope of services. .     Ever wish you could find someone who listens and understands your vision for your home but knows how to make it even better than you imagine? That is just what the team at Dan Waibel Designer Builder did for us. Will, Brandon, and Shelby led our project with the kind of attention to detail that one rarely experiences today. Perhaps, the greatest challenge was accommodating the two of us living upstairs for 7 months while they completely renovated the entire main floor. The craftsmanship is so impressive I looked forward to arriving home each evening to enjoy the progress that was always so evident. Our project was delivered on time and on budget. There is no one we trust more.

    Will and the team at Dan Waibel DB are the best. Will took on a long distance design project for our home in TN and not only were we pleased with the results we had a ton of fun along the way. He listened to our inputs on desired look and feel and created a truly unique home that checked all of our boxes. Trust me, the process was iterative but Will is very patient (maybe all the kids help :)) and also very willing to work through changes without compromising the cool design elements or functionality. I would highly recommend these guys; enjoying a “Will Waibel designed home” is something special.

    We have worked with Designer Will Waibel on three separate remodel projects at our home. The first was about six years ago and resulted in a complete new kitchen, family dining area, powder room and a combination office / work room. The second was about three years ago and was a complete re-do of our master suite bathroom and closet areas. Most recently was an update to our outdoor living areas with a new deck and outdoor kitchen, a specially designed and unique gazebo, new entertainment spaces and a new fire pit.Each of these projects turned out better than promised, on budget and only slightly behind schedule (because of some special requests we made during the build phase).We highly recommend Will and the entire Dan Waibel build team.     Highly recommend! DW Designer/Builder recently did a project crafting some beautiful custom cabinetry as well as designing and installing an awesome fireplace to help transform our living room. We had a ton of fun meeting and discussing with Will our style, and then having him draw up some superb designs! Phil managed the project from the building side of things and his attention to detail and vast carpentry skillset is phenomenal. The whole team was a pleasure to be around and work with, and we already look forward to future projects.

    Well….what can I say? Waibel’s really ‘do’ make dreams come true! They have turned our tired worn-out home in to a masterpiece within a two-year span. The word masterpiece has two definitions, both of which apply to this project. They are “a work done with extraordinary skill”, and “a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement” …..Yes….and…Yes! It all started when Will Waibel came and inquired about our needs, lifestyle, interests, and vision. Against all odds (with what there was to work with), he designed the perfect plan and put remarkably talented men in place to follow it through.     We raised our kids in Tremont and loved the community and our house. However, when we became “empty nesters” we decided to build a house in north Peoria. We had heard so many stories of how hard and difficult it would be. We found the whole process fun, easy and rewarding. The key is we had “partners” that based on our experience we absolutely trust. From the design, selections, and actual build the Waibel team were excellent. You need critical elements to build your dream home and then enjoy living in it. The combination of Will, Brandon and Shelby demonstrated a very deep caring for the quality of the work and our happiness. It is hard to describe their attention to detail and the pride they take in the work … they really care. Second, it is great to care and have high standards but you must have talent. Will is great with design, Brandon makes sure everything will be built in a quality way and Shelby gets it done. We love our house both in terms of design and quality.     We had our exterior home totally redone - new cedar siding and other improvements. They did an awesome job! The craftsmen were courteous and knowledgeable.     Our home was originally built by Dan Waibel Designer/Builder almost 30 years ago. We have owned it for over 20 years and the Waibel company has done several large projects for us. Whenever we contact them for major work or small maintainance jobs their response time and attention.to our needs is outstanding.We have always found their work to be professionally executed, completed to the higest standard and always using the best materials available. We particularily like the detail and handcrafted elements of their wood working whether it be moldings or kitchen cabinets. For example they recently installed a new kitchen in our home and the hand built cabinets and finishing were excellent!We cant give a higher recommendation for using Dan Waibel Designer/Builder for your design and project needs.Pam and Gerry Shaheen
