Dave repaired our antique recliner that was built in 1929. The seat needed some stabilizing and a wooden piece had come detached that Dave glued. The recliner is very unique. It has a button on one of the arms that you push for the back to recline. Excellent work Dave!!! Much appreciated!!

Dave repaired four old cherry dining room chairs that we bought at an estate sale. After about a year and a half of use, the seat had split on each of them. Two of them had gotten bad enough that we were worried about the safety of any guest that might sit in them.Dave did an excellent job repairing them. In fact, I am sitting in one now as I type this review. He is a friendly and disarming man, and I was very happy to give him my business. We had a great time talking with him, and he repaired the chairs very well, very quickly, and at a more than reasonable price!

Excellent workmanship! We had a set of 6 chairs in need of refurbishment before our annual family Christmas dinner. This included a total rebuild of rather intricate interspring, multilayered fabric cover seats. Not a simple task, we had approached others and been advised to abandon the original interspring design... it was too difficult... that was not going to happen. We contacted Dave, he did a complete rebuild of the seats maintaining the integrity of the original design. It was a difficult rebuild, think Dave would have liked to have charged more but kept the cost at his original quote. We’re very satisfied, will use Dave in the future and highly recommend him to others.

Our main support of our pedestal table cracked right in two and he repaired it with nothing visible on the finished project! He also repaired an antique dry sink that I had purchased that had more damage to it than I realized when I saw it. It is beautiful and very useable now!Thanks, Dave!!

I had purchased a bedroom set from one of the big furniture stores. One of the night stands sustained water damage and top was ruined. Could not get a replacement or get item fixed where I had purchased it. Mr. Long was able to replace the top and results are amazing. Matches the set exactly. I would highly recommend Dave Long for any furniture restoration / repairs.

I dropped off my curio cabinet not knowing what I would come back too. I had been told by others that the top piece of this cabinet was so severely warped and they would not be able to fix it. But I was amazed that Dave was able to find a replacement piece of wood and stain that matched so well. It looks great, I couldnt be happier!

We bought an antique oak hutch that was mostly in good shape, but it needed some repairs to the top half. We took it to Dave and he did an excellent job - repaired a hole in the back, cut and fit old wavy glass for one of the doors, and replaced the crown molding on the top with very authentic looking old oak trim. We are very happy with the results, and the price was reasonable. He was also very accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. If we need furniture repaired in the future, we wont hesitate to call Dave!

I bought 30 counter stools because that was the only height available in the stools I wanted. I took them to Dave and he very precisely trimmed them down to 26 and finished the legs to look factory perfect. All three stools are exactly the same height.
