    We had a 14x40 patio cover installed over our existing deck and it turned out absolutely amazing! We are loving our new space done by the incredible team at Horizon Improvement! They also installed two ceiling fans and a perfectly placed electrical outlet for our outside tv. Communication was excellent, and work was completed in 3 days from the time they started. I would highly recommend Horizon Improvement for any job like this. This business is first class and they truly care about their customers!

    Had a patio cover and handrails installed by Horizon recently. I am well pleased by the work done. Hi and Quin were very courteous, very informative and did an excellent job with the install of the patio and handrails. Casey and another person (Ralph?) installed the handrails on the front of the house and they also did an excellent job. I am very pleased with Horizons pricing, material and work.

    I was looking to enlarge our screened-in porch and found so much more in Horizon Improvements. From the initial visit with owner/CEO David Touchstone, to the construction team of Hi and Quinn, to the Paul the electrician, everyone was professional, courteous, and highly competent. Unlike estimates I received, Horizon provided structurally superior construction allowing me add windows in the future to have a year-round living space. And they paid attention to every detail, large and small. We are loving our new screened-porch! I highly recommend them!

    The two men, Hai & Quinn were very professional and made sure the product we were getting was exactly correct the entire time the construction was taking place!The final product exceeded our expectations and Hai & Quinn are the reason! Give these men a raise! It was very hot outside during this build (August 2023)I would use Horizon Improvements again and would highly recommend them to our entire community of over 100 homes in Gulf Breeze!

    Horizon Home Improvements built a 12’X26’ screen porch addition onto the front of our 1984 double wide manufactured home in Lillian, Alabama. The finished structure transformed our old looking mobile home into a into a new modern looking home with excellent curb appeal. Ben Waller and Robbie Godwin built a quality structure from the ground up elevated deck to the metal roof and the surrounding screen enclosure. All the Horizon Home Improvement employees from the owner, to the design and permitting team and especially Ben & Robbie, the construction crew were outstanding. Their wood and metal framing was square, level and plumb. That’s right I personally checked it. Also, they cleaned up construction the debris and left the jobsite neat and orderly every day. The electrical crew added a new breaker to the panel box, ran a new drop to the porch and installed all the electrical outlets we would ever need as well as a 6’ outdoor fan. All in all, it was job well done. Thank you Horizon Home Improvements! Todd and Alana Turk.

    I contracted with Horizon for an all metal awning over my existing backyard deck. I found Horizon on the BBB website as an accredited business with an A+ rating. The whole process from initial consultation to project completion was great. The team that did my installation was brothers Hai and Quinn. I am extremely happy with the job done and would definitely contract with Horizon (and Hai & Quinn) again. I highly recommend Horizon Improvements.

    The hardest part was pulling the city permit. Construction took less than a day. David and Phil are extremely knowledgeable, and their installers were very professional. Great company to work with. I Highly recommend.

    Very easy company to work with. The two young men who competed my carport and screened in porch were the most polite service workers I have ever encountered there names are Hai and Quin I was very impressed with their work. Also I was impressed with the fact that their supervisor stop by then the owner of Horizon Improvement stopped buy to thank me . I highly recommend this company and the two men who worked on my projects.

    David and Phil got started on our deck cover very quickly. My wife was just diagnosed with lung cancer, and thanks to these two fine compassionate men, my has a couple weeks to enjoy our deck before she starts chemo and 33 radiation treatments. The two men that did the work, Hai and Quin did a great job, were very respectful and very concientious. Paid attention to detail. Nothing but praise here.

    Overall, we are extremely happy with the finished product. We had out backyard screened in patio extended. Marty and Tony are incredibly talented and did an amazing job! We did unfortunately have to wait 10 months to get the project done. We put down our deposit in March of 2022 and the work was completed in Jan 2023. We tried our best to be patient and understanding. We knew we were going to have to wait months to get the work done… getting supplies in a timely manner since COVID has been an unfortunate normal issue. The company lost a bunch of workers when Hurricane Ian hit, they headed down to the destruction to help and obviously get paid very well. This pushed back planned projects even further. Though the office personnel could have done a better job reaching out to us to give us updates instead of us having to reach out to them… it was worth the wait. They had the best pricing around. We would use Marty & Tony anytime!!!!!

    Excellent work, great folks. I would recommend to anyone at anytime. They have done 2 jobs for us and both was beyond great. You go with anyone else, you will be disappointed in my opinion. These 2 men worked their a__ off in 100 degree weather to make sure we was happy.

    The crew was great. The finished product looks nice. The business and the owners themselves though, were difficult to work with. It took 17 months to get a new bathtub installed. And the original installation was cancelled just 2 days before install which cost me tremendously due to having to close down my business and take off work to be there.They said the job would take 4 days, it took 8. When you factor in the first cancelation where I scheduled 4 days off work and the actual 8 day installation a total 12 days I was out of work and closed my Airbnb.I filed a BBB complaint and got a discount but it didnt cover my lost expense.

    I had been wanting a patio cover since I purchased my house 3 years ago.It was installed yesterday and I totally love it. Hai and Quyen were professional and courteous. They worked hard to get it perfect. My patio and yard was clean when they left.Thank you Horizon and Hai and Quyen.

    The only reason I gave them a 4 is because we were told it could take up to 16 weeks out to start the work. 39 weeks later the best team Alan & Austin showed up and did the most amazing job we could ask for. They kept things clean, quiet, never saw them taking needless breaks, just diligently working. I’m proud of my new shower & vanity. I would recommend Horizon to friends & family. Just be cautious of start time they may tell you.

    I had my bathroom remodeled by Casey and Patrick Robinson. These guys did a fantastic job. I am so pleased with the outcome. They both were knowledgeable, professional, and just good people. I would recommend these two for your maintenance needs!

    Horizon completed a deck project for me… They tore down my old wood deck and built the most beautiful, multi level composite deck that looks amazing!!Their two installers Hai and Quinn are craftsman in this line of work, and treat the project as if it is artwork, and they were very meticulous and detailed in their craftsmanship!!! I’m extremely happy with how it turned out, and I would highly recommend Horizon and especially Hai and Quinn for any of your deck projects in the future!!

    Horizon improvements replaced 2 porches for me. Their work was wonderful and I am very very happy with what I ended up with. They were timely and cleaned up daily.     Horizon installed a walk in tub replacement for our standard bathtub. The entire process from initial visit to completion was smooth and professional. The two man installation team , headed by Jon, was a combined carpenter, electrician, plumber, and artistic experience. The completed work was excellent and looks great. They matched colors of the bathroom interior, laid down butcher paper from the front door to the bathroom so as not to soil our rugs and tile, constructed front and rear headboards so the tub looks like it belongs there and matches the bathroom interior, the attention to detail was excellent. The enthusiastic installation team was a pleasure to work with. I received several estimates from other contractors and the Horizon estimate was around $3,000 less, however I must say that if the Horizon estimate was $3,000 more than the other estimates it would have been well worth it!! Im going to have Horizon replace all of the windows in the house in the near future. A business like Horizon is at the core of keeping our nation great. Well Done Horizon!!

    We had 2 bathrooms remodeled. The materials and workmanship was outstanding. Chris, our installer, showed up and worked all day on the project. We are very pleased and would recommend if you are looking for bath remodel or conversion. Chris was meticulous and thorough with his work.

    5 star bathroom remodel from beginning to end! My sales rep was awesome and the workers were excellent. They were punctual, polite and clean while keeping me up to date with the progress throughout the entire installation. The work was very detail oriented. They removed my entire tub area and ceramic wall tile then proceeded with a fresh install of a beautiful new shower. They went above and beyond. We love our new bathroom and moving forward with a second contract for our second bathroom. Good job guys, thank you Horizon.

    They installed my screened patio last Spring/Early summer, including having a foundation poured to extend it. The installation was smooth, the installers went out of their way to inform me of other potential issues they noticed with my house that wasnt even part of what they were doing (did a cutback into the eaves of my house to tie the patio into the roofline, Im tall and needed extra height. They noticed water damage on the eaves they cut back on the wooden beams, and made sure to let me know before they proceeded so I was aware). After the amazing installation work they did, they came back and fixed a few hiccups with the screen. Theyve been available when I had any questions, and after Hurricane Sally, there was slight damage to the flashing where it tied into the roof, they were prompt and quick on getting it repaired. I appreciate them all so much Im now having them replace my siding as well. They also made a great referral to have my fence replaced last fall, which had 0 damage to it during Sally as well, so I appreciate the good referral they made as well.

    Our house is a 1960s ranch house with the original bathrooms (purple in one bathroom, avocado green in the other). We wanted to remodel the purple bathroom, which had a coffin-like stall shower and terrible floors.Rachel came and did our estimate and was super sweet. When we committed to the contract, work was able to start about 3 months later. We were given weekly updates on permits, materials, etc. We picked our own tile from Lowes, which HHI purchased on our behalf.Im self-employed so home often, and Id be the one handling everything with the workers, though my husband picked all the colors and design of everything b/c its his bathroom (Ill get to do the next one!). As a woman, I sadly have to worry about things like being in a house alone with 2 men I dont know, so of course we had cameras in the house, which I did disclose to the men when they arrived on their first day.Chris and Randy never once made me feel uncomfortable. They were professional and kind, funny and helpful. When the shower walls went up, I was NOT a fan of what my husband picked, and unfortunately for Randy and Chris, I was way too expressive about that. But being that it wasnt their fault and its what my husband wanted, the work continued.Overall, though I dont care for the shower look itself, the rest of the bathroom turned out beautifully!! We are super happy with the quality and the professionalism of Randy and Chris. Im very grateful to them for keeping me at ease and handling everything with a sense of humor and perspective of what to expect with the finished project. My husband LOVES his new bathroom, every piece of it, and that makes me happy too!The pic is a before (left, obv) and after of the finished project.

    I had a small shower and tub removed. A large custom shower replaced both. It took a little longer than planned,but the quality of the install was worth the wait. I have told anyone that will listen just how happy I am.

    Signed a contract 10 weeks and three days ago. Paid half up front. I was told by the salesman they were 8-10 weeks behind and I would get phone calls weekly to let me know when they would start.I received one call in 10 weeks. I have to call them and when I do they say they are behind and they’ll call back with a start date. Then they don’t call again. So I have to call again.The work hasn’t started yet. Will update my review when finished.Job was completed today and the work was fantastic. I’m completely satisfied. Changing to 4 stars.

    We signed with Horizon in April of 2022 for a screened patio and bathroom remodel. Yes, it took much longer than originally stated and yes, I was extremely frustrated. We were told 10-12 weeks, and the porch was completed 8 months later, and the bathroom completed one year (almost to the day) later. I was beginning to get worried that this might be an instance where the company takes your money and never completes the task. BUT.....The wait was worth it in the end. The patio I now have is exactly what I wanted. The work was done quickly and professionally. My bathroom is also better than expected. The guys that came for the bathroom remodel (which, today is the final day, actually) are so friendly, professional and very very good at what they do. (I think their names are Casey and Adam...or maybe Patrick). They have come in every morning this week with a positive attitude, they work hard all day, and they communicate thoroughly every step of the way. They have been incredible.I know the staff at Horizon was probably a little frustrated with me because I did start getting a little snippy when April 1 came around and my bathroom hadnt been started. If they were, though, they hid it well and were always polite, professional, and very apologetic when speaking to me and/or my husband.I will always give credit where credit is due. The wait times were much longer than I had hoped, but the end result was quality, professional work. Thank you for giving me a patio that I can enjoy and a new bathroom for my guests.Patience is key sometimes and this was an opportunity for me to be reminded of that.Edit: I only gave 4 stars simply because of the time we waited. The work was great.

    They converted our enclosed patio into a Florida room. Hurricane windows/AC unit and Electrical outlets on outside and inside. Professional, good service my wife and I were extremely impressed.We were a little hesitant, we let them know we were shopping around with other companies... and believe it or not horizon was the only one that did not bad mouth the other companies. They were upfront, no pressure, and told us that when or if we earned their business they will not disappoint. The salesman was personal, they PM for the job kept in contact with me and then my wife as my schedule got too busy but made the extra effort in recapping conversations he had with my wife with me via text.There was slight delay in the start of the work, they were upfront about it an when they stated that they would be here to do the job and it would be done in 3-4 days... they held themselves accountable and produced good work.My wife and I are pleased and will likely use them again on our next project.
