Every single employee who came to our house to assess the situation and resolve the problem was amazing! Special thanks to Darryl, Gwyn, Jake, Dave and Jerry. These seasoned professionals showed up on time, were delightfully pleasant and replaced our pipes with great care and skill. And to top it off, the price was reasonable!     Its been a rainy year so far and we were concerned about blockage or potential collapse of the foundation drains etc. They came to our home and within 30 minutes did a video inspection of the drains and downspout drains to confirm that there were no issues with the drainage system.Professional, courteous and nice guys.We highly recommend them.

    Thank you for all you do for me. Every time I have issues with with my septic system, you guys are there for me!You dont over charge, the guys that come out, are some of the nicest people I have worked with!!I though that way about them when they helped me get my system up to code. After yesterday I have nothing but good things to say about your company and the people that work there!!Even the lady that answers the phone she is kind when she assures the phone.     Weve had Downs Drain Cleaning Services clean our septic tanks now for over 20 years! They come out every two years and do a thorough job for our house and many other neighbors on our street. They are a strong family run business that takes pride in their work. They are both professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

    Used this company when.I had some water back up in my basement. Roto-Rooter attempted to overcharge me without even diagnosing the issue. Called this company to get a 2nd opinion, they were honest, trustworthy, and cost efficient. I will only use them from now on and will recommend them to anyone in need of services!!

    My family has owned our house since the 60s and I know this is the first time that water has backed up and feared that trees had invaded the pipes.Our team arrived in under half an hour after our call for help. They were professional, friendly, and explained each step as they tried to clean out our 67 year old drains. While water was flowing they still met resistance... a quick look with the camera showed a T in the system?We can now rest easier having seen the clean walls of the pipe all the way to the junction and watched as the water rushed out of view without resistance!Will recommend and call on again!

    I was happily suprised they came out the next morning after i called dustin and dan actually were half hour early they fixed the problem that noone else i had priviously had out.     Great, honest, stand up company. Did a full clean out for us. 45 days later we still had issues so they came out and advised us to call the county. They didn’t charge us and when the county came they said we found a good company to give us the advise to call them.

    Great job Downs Septic! I left a message on Sunday saying our septic alarm has gone off and Sean called early Monday morning to say someone would be over that morning.     Stand up company! They get the job done quickly and efficiently, and are willing to answer any and all questions. There was a huge issue with the house I was closing on and they were there the next day to fix it so we could close on time. They also waited patiently for payment while details were worked out in closing.

    Called Down Septic in the early spring, they came out on a very snowy day and made the professional decision to not back down our steep icy driveway. Called them back in June, we were scheduled quickly and the truck showed up a little early on the day scheduled. Ted did the service, he was very nice and took time to explain what he was seeing and what he was doing. He even took a minute to look at a concern I had with our septic mound, which was not part of the original call, and recommend a course of action. He took the time to understand our water usage rate and recommend a follow-up timeline, and showed me exactly how to monitor my system monthly in the interim. Extremely happy with the service I received, will be calling them again for all future septic services.

    Ted the driver was great, very informative and professional. Cost of $195 to drain the tank was competitive. I would only state I would prefer the truck back in and not have to turn around in the drive.

    Mike came out and was very professional. I had no idea how the system worked. Mike took the time to explain how the system works and each step of what he was doing to clean out the tanks. He explained everything in a way that didnt make me feel dumb about asking the questions. Mike is very knowledgeable and patient. Also, when my wife called into ask about pricing and and scheduling the service, the person on the other end was very kind and provided accurate information. We will be keeping with Downs Cleaning in the future.

    I had two problems: 1) a lid in my septic drain field was leaking and creating a puddle of water; 2) A sump pump in my basement had a loud water hammer sound every time it shut off. I call downs and they promptly came to Ravenna and corrected both problems. They inspected my septic system and corrected the problem by switching the drain fields. They also explained how the system works; showed me how to make the switch, and informed me how often the switch should be done. For the water hammer problem, they installed a new check valve and the problem was solved. Note: I had previously been told by another company that nothing could be done about the water hammer problem. For that bit of info I was charged $46. If you want prompt, courteous, honest and professional service, Downs Drain Cleaning and Septic System Service is my recommendation. They certainly will be my first choice for all septic and plumbing jobs.
