    I called Dave for a door frame repair. Within an hour, he was there to inspect the site and gave me options and quotes for the job! He is professional and courteous. His rates are very reasonable. Dave arrived promptly at the designated time and kept me informed of the progress. He cleaned up when the job was finished and had me inspect the area . I definitely will be using Dave again for all my carpentry needs!!

    Dave was very professional on all counts. Replied quickly. Gave a fare estimate. Showed up on time. Talked me through his plan and how project would be done. Left the worksite clean and neat. This was a tough project in my opinion, rebuilding 147 year old built-in gutters. Dave has a gift of putting the client at ease; I knew the project was in good hands!

    We were so lucky to have found Dave to help us with our project. We gave him the challenge of building a new stair and landing in an old house with a lot of quirks. He did such a great job, and made the landing flush with the hallway. His work is beautiful—highly recommended!

    I contracted with Dave for a few projects around my house in preparation for a full exterior house repainting job that we will be completing in the next month. In a day and age where it (unfortunately) is near impossible to get people to even call you back (let alone show up on time), Dave exceeded at both. Very easy to get in contact with (phone/email); on time (sets appropriate expectations; arrives when he says he will). Fair and honest; neat and clean. Knowledgeable, and does good work. Very happy to have found Dave and very satisfied with the work. He will be me new go-to for any future work of this type, and Ive already recommended him to a few close friends. Highly recommended!

    Dave arrived on time and assessed a cracked door frame and explained our two possible approaches (replace the frame or replace the door). When it turned out he couldnt do the work on the schedule we needed, he recommended someone else to do the job and didnt charge us for the visit. Highly professional and Id call him again.

    Dave repaired a porch column for me that was starting to fall apart, he also rebuilt deck stairs for me and added new trim to the front porch stairs. Dave made the column and stairs all structurally sound as well as made it look very nice. Here is what you get with Dave, he’s honest, trustworthy, will show up on time, will always return your emails/phone calls. He got started and got the job done within a few days. He didn’t drag it out like many other contractors might’ve done. I’m glad I found a contractor that I know I can rely on for my future needs.

    Dave jacked up my portico and made it level and also custom designed traditional looking posts made out of veranda. This has transformed the front of my house to give it more curb appeal. He had good communication throughout the job and did a good job of executing what he said he would do. His prices were fair, as well. You will be supporting a local disabled vet if you hire him for your needs.

    Dave has done several jobs for me in the past and they were all 5 star. He did what he said he would do. His work is excellent, on time and priced fairly. Just recently, he did some repair work for me in about five areas of the house I had concerns with. Dave did a seamless job in all five areas, you could not tell where the repairs were made. He matched everything, particularly the finish paint, could not tell the repair work from the existing, it blended perfectly. I had a leak that was in a area that one or two other contractors could not seal, Dave fixed it, and this area of concern is finally dry and fixed, thanks to Dave. I will probably have Dave back in the spring for additional work. I would recommend D.B Carpentry to anyone in need of a highly skillful carpenter, thanks Dave !

    The front and back side of my house needed repairs.The soffit in the back of the house was replaced.The clapboard on the front and backsides was water damaged and needed to be replaced and the structure it attached to had to be repaired before this was done. I had two windows with rotten trim and sills and much of my other trim was replacedI read Dave Bradleys Google reviews and liked what I read so I gave him a call.He called me back within an hour and stopped by my house the same day. The next day I had an estimate and we made a deal. Dave did everything he specified in the contract in the time frame he promised. I am more than pleased with the results and I thought his price was fair. I am now waiting for Dave for my next project.

    We hired Dave to repair a rotted sill plate on the foundation of our home, and he was great from start to finish. He came over twice to assess the situation and decide what was necessary to fix the rotted wood. It was not a straight-forward situation, and he was able to talk me through what was going on and what all my options were. He came back within a week to fix everything, and got it done quickly and without any problems. Dave is a true professional and I would recommend him to anyone. He was very responsive, on-time, honest and up-front, and was friendly and easy to talk to, and was willing to explain what he was doing. He gave me a written quote for the work, proof of his registration and insurance, and the materials receipt from Home Depot. It can be hard sometimes to find reliable and honest help when it comes to home repairs, and I will not hesitate to call Dave again for any other home repairs that will inevitably come up.
