Tina and Freddy did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen and adding a fireplace that was a blank wall! Looks like it has always been here! It’s a fake electric fireplace but absolutely beautiful! Pictures don’t do justice! Everyone who has been over has said wow pictures don’t do justice! In the kitchen the cabinetry uppers and around fridge they built brand new! The bottom cabinetry they were able to save us money by just painting and giving us new door fronts and drawer fronts to match the top cabinet! I asked for upgrade above fridge for my baking sheets and casserole dishes which saved me a lot of room in my cabinets and he did amazing! They shiplapped around our bar! The two last pictures are my blank wall in living room and kitchen before!

I discovered Tina Akers through a Facebook Marketplace ad, and I’m so thankful I did!! After MONTHS of frustration with searching for a counter height table that was narrow enough to fit our small space and not having much luck, we decided to give Tina and her team a try. We scheduled a consultation, reviewed our options with Tina, and a few weeks later had our new table delivered. It is PERFECT!!! A big concern of ours in searching for a table (besides the size) was the durability. Our previous table had a laminate coating that would haze when a warm plate sat on it and would quickly discolor if it got wet. This table is solid wood with a durable polyurethane finish. We’ve had it for a couple of months now, and it has held up as promised! No water marks/rings, no heat hazing, no worries!! It’s beautiful, durable, and the perfect size!! And it was VERY reasonably priced too!! I highly recommend this company, and couldn’t be happier!! For reference, we chose a matte black base with Mission Oak stain and the rough textured finish (I think it was called “farmhouse” finish). The chairs were already ours.

I have had several custom pieces from this company and they all have been on point A+ Staining to match each piece even though I’ve got them at different times. Distressing is perfect! They even distressed some of my chairs with a custom-made glaze that Tina made herself. They keep their promises as when furniture will be finished each piece is very detailed and they are very thorough in explaining and understanding what it is exactly that you want. Designs by Tina is the only furniture place that I use now. 5 Stars!!!
