    Rob gave me an estimate 7 yrs ago, but i did not do the upgrade back then. This time, i decided to do the 200 Amp upgrade, so i asked him for an estimate that I have a limited budget for that. Rob gave me a good price, which I was able to do it within my budget. He also kindly answered all my questions via email with a yellow-highlighed mark on his comments. His team did a tremendous job with professional knowledge and getting things done quickly. I strongly recommend Vaccarella Electrical.

    First thing I liked about this company is they had someone answering the phones who also knew what he was talking about and not just there to take a message. They told me when they were going to be there and showed up and diagnosed a faulty switch in less than 2 minutes and fixed the issue in no time.     I am very happy with the services and professionalism by Vaccarella Electrical. The entire experience from understanding the scope of work, scheduling, communication, and installation was very smooth process. They also handled getting the permit from the town. I hired them to upgrade my circuit breaker panel to 200 amp. They showed up on time, the guys explained everything they needed to do and approximately the time it would take. After completion the guys went over the entire job and made it very easy to understand the whole process . I would highly recommend and would be using them for any future electrical work needed.

    My neighbor recommended VACCARELLA Electrical Services after we received a ridiculous quote by another electrical company to replace a 33 yr old 200 AMP circuit breaker panel and installation of new pvc conduit due to water infiltration. Roberto answered my call immediately and gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone at a fraction of the price originally quoted to us. We scheduled the service within the week and the repair was completed in one business day. Two electricians spent the entire day with demolition and installation of the new devices.     Vacarella did an excellent job replacing our electrical panel and installing an ev charger. They also replaced the pse&g service all the way to the wire coming into our property and installed the hookup for a temporary generator in the event of a power outage.     I am so happy with the work they did! My house still used fuses and they were able to bring this house into the 21st century! My meters were also in the basement and they moved them outside to the side of the house. The guys were extremely kind and professional, answered all my questions & made sure everything was perfect. They even cleaned up after themselves!The level of care from these guys is off the charts. I’m very happy with all the work they did. I had them come back to do a few smaller projects like replacing a few 220 v outlets into standard outlets as well as hardwiring my Ring doorbell.If you need any electrical work done, I will 100% suggest Vaccarella Electrical Services!

    High quality work. Vaccarella Electrical Services upgraded my panel to a 200A service and installed an outdoor generator inlet box. Roberto answered the phone right away and took the time to discuss my options and educate me on the equipment and various components needing to be installed. He was able to send me a detailed proposal shortly after, and I was very satisfied with the price. Roberto was very flexible in scheduling the installation. His guys showed up on time, explained the whole process, how long they would take, and updated us throughout the installation. They did a very nice clean looking job, and clearly took pride in their work. After the job was done, they walked me through my new panel and showed me everything that was done to bring the system up to code. They explained the process of switching power over to my generator, and finished by labeling all the breakers in the panel. I was extremely satisfied with the service I recieved and will definitely be hiring Vaccarella Electrical Services in the future.

    The Vaccarella team was overall, amazing ! Roberto was great at recommending the best lighting for my rooms and provided the best solutions to my needs. He provided me with multiple options with with no pressure to choose from. His install team at my home were by far the best electricians I’ve seen. There was barely any damage to my walls when installing the recessed lighting and multiple room fixtures. They also installed a few outlets and my door bell.     We had Roberto and his team in twice. The first time was to repair a bathroom light. He discovered the problem was much bigger than a simple short. After securing the first problem safely, Rob recommended an upgrade to our ancient breaker box that had been overloaded and maxed out with way too many circuits. Thus we called him back when were ready to take on the bigger job. The before and after photos of this project were literally breathtaking. We went from an unsafe and dangerous situation to a very safe one with the quality of the workmanship superb. Attention to detail way surpassed my exceptions. And, the price was right! Will bring them back soon for more projects.

We were very impressed by Robert Vaccarella’s knowledge and experience installing generators including giving us options on the different products and placement of the generator .     Two days ago, I didn’t know Vaccarella Electrical Services and today I wouldn’t use anyone else. Knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, neat are the easiest way to express what a pleasure it was to describe my problems to Robert, be given options as possible solutions along with good recommendations and then have 2 electricians come today and do the work, explain why some options might work better for our old house and then perform the work, clean up perfectly, walk me through all they did and answer any lingering questions. Vaccarella Elec seems to cover a large geographical area so don’t hesitate to call them. There is no sense that a job would be too small. I will be scheduling them again in a week or so for a few updates to our house. Very professional and recommend without hesitation.

    We used Vaccarella to install our Generac Generator. They were amazing to work with. Not only installed the generator but also noticed and fixed some faulty wiring we didn’t know we had.     Vaccarella Electrical installed a generator with the associated panels and subcontracted the gas supply, put in a new panel, and repaired wiring for our range. They did tremendous work! The other bids took a quick scan and just gave me a number. But, Vaccarella gave me comfort they would do it right--and they did! Very happy.

    I highly recommend Vaccarella Electrical Services. Owner Rob Vaccarella is a man of his word and his company performs excellent work:In early July, a tree fell on my power lines which shot such high levels of electricity into my house that we had to leave for our safety. My wife found Rob on the “Paramus Moms” Facebook group where he was highly endorsed. I spoke to him from our hotel room and we met at my house the same day. Making a long story short, Rob led the project, and performed quality work with reasonable prices.The stress and fear of not being able to live in your own house is overwhelming. Rob impressed me by taking ownership of the situation. His goal was to get me back in my house ASAP. Rob’s leadership took a huge stress burden off my shoulders. He made a ton of calls on my behalf (PSEG and the Borough) and coordinated the proper inspections (we had a unique situation). This helped escalate the process which was already slow due to covid19. When the Town ultimately inspected my house a week later, Rob was on a family vacation, but still made himself available (via phone) during my inspection. That scored major brownie points.The bottom line is I was able to return home much faster and into a safer house by having worked with Rob.     I usually do not write reviews but decided to write one due to the exceptional service I received. Not only were the electricians knowledgeable but they took the time to examine and diagnosis the problem. Within 10 minutes they have figured out the problem and totally rewired my electric box, replaced wiring with the appropriate gauge and fixed the problem. I am truly grateful for their work and would unequivocally recommend them to anyone who needs a great electrician. Your only problem will be getting on their schedule, oh wait they are good at that time too. Explaining my situation to Roberto, he fit me in so I could have my pool electric box fixed in time for my sons pool party. Since it was simply a misaligned contact he adjusted it and it worked just fine. I then asked them to look at a steam generator for my shower that was not working.     We bought a 1920s old house that needed a ton of electrical upgrades. We are first time homeowners. This home was in need of a lot of service. It degraded knob and tubing (K&T) wiring, out-dated electrical panel (100 amp) and a spider-web of electrical lines. In addition we were updating the kitchen, bathroom and overall lighting of the first floor. Out of 4 electricians, Vaccarella came out on top because of their experience on dealing with K&T wiring and updating the electrical. From the moment Rob came to evaluate the house he was on point with diagnosing the house and how to address the important issues. (I must remind you we are first time homeowners and lack professional expertise.) I had a vision of the work required and the most important issue was dealing with any potential electrical fire hazard from K&T wiring. Vaccarella was hired, 1) the K&T wiring were eliminated and new electrical lines were fed to bypass the spider-web of old electrical lines. Simultaneously, 2) new recessed lighting were installed into our poorly lit first floor. And 3) the price was right. Rob essentially killed three birds with one stone.As a bonus, they even organized the electrical wiring in my basement by running brand new lines.For the final phase, we had them rewire our kitchen and bathrooms with brand new lines.Due to all the upgrades and preparing for future electrical demands, it was necessary to update our electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp.In conclusion, Vaccarella Electrical performed an outstanding job.     We had used Vaccarella Electrical Services to install residential house standby fixed 20kw generator in early February 2015, slightly over 8 years ago. The installation was quite standard with a complication that the gas input of our house is on the other side of the garage where the electrical switch is located, additional electrical pipes must be used to across the house from the basement for around 80 feet long. Vaccarella did excellent job without us to do anything, from permission request, coordination with plumber, and afterwards inspection all done smoothly within the planned time frame, before the real winter to come. Since then for the 8 years the generator runs seamlessly give us a peace of mind, kicked-in when there is a electrical interruption, and running testing automatically at the scheduled time every week. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Vaccarella services.

    We used Vaccarella Electric for a recent job at our brand new home. we had to have two chandeliers taken down and have two custom chandeliers put up. This was not easy job as ceilings are about 30 feet high so required significant planning and prep. In addition Vaccarella made good suggestion to place in a chandelier hoist so we could lower them for cleaning and light changing. This required additional power line and switches being run through the attic. Paul and Richie were on time and took great care in making sure walls and floors were protected. They explained what they were doing and made sure the job was complete when they left including the cleanup and making sure lights were hanging correctly. We thought pricing was very fair and Roberto personally followed up with us to make sure it went well. We were very happy and will use Vaccarella again as we know we have to other projects that need to get done.
