    Hes a genius! For several years we have had trouble with our on-demand hot water heater and had had other plumbers try to fix the problem without success. We had resigned ourselves to going back to a tank heater. Landis came over on short notice and did a quick diagnosis of a faulty mixing valve that supplied the warm water to our toilets. He removed the valve preventing and further crossover between the hot and cold piping. Problem solved.No more cold water sandwiches or having to run all the sinks to get hot water and he saved us a ton of money! We are very happy.

    Erwin Plumbing and Heating, llc, has continued multiple times this year to impress me so much. The owner Mr. Erwin, is honest, professional, excellent, hardworking, skillful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Many of these traits are just so hard to find in any businesses these days; so when you do find not just one trait but all of them in a business owner, it makes the business even more valuable. Not only did we find Mr. Erwin’s wonderful business, but we had so many things happen all at once and needed referrals for four separate companies in total; and every single company referred to and hired in his network of trusted contractors…well, each of those companies from the one who recommended him to the ones he recommended were all found to be excellent. So not only is this a referral for Erwin Plumbing and Heating, llc. but if you need plumbing or heating and any referrals for any other service needed that he cannot provide, which there isn’t much he cannot be trusted to do in my humble opinion, know that you can trust whoever he recommends, to be just as excellent as him. His business tagline is: “No job too small” and I feel he not only values each job whether big or small but with his kindhearted way of dealing with his customers, I feel that he goes above and beyond and values the people too, such a rare wonderful way of doing business.We found Mr. Erwin does excellent work the first time around and you will not need multiple visits or the cost of needing to ever call a second company to fix any work he provides, because his first time asked workmanship is so excellent. Mr. Erwin honors his bids and showed up so quickly to fully fix not only our plumbing issues, but here we are a few months later and we had a bit of an emergency at my mother in loves home and Mr. Erwin, happened to be in the area and showed up right away to problem solve, give us a bid on a plan of action and within a couple of days had the replacement furnace and everything we agreed upon needing fixed totally completed. Yay!We needed plumbing work a few months back for our own home and what a blessing finding Erwin Plumbing and Heating, llc. The owner did excellent install work, installing and replacing blocked piping and designed a piping system to include a shutoff valve for the entire water system, shutoff valve for our outside water faucets, a bypass for our water softener so we would never have to risk breaking the plastic one on our original system that was very difficult to use and of course a way to also turn all water on everywhere. The piping is set up now where any of those four routes for water can now be achieved with a simple turn of a couple of levers: Full shut off, outside faucets shut off, bypass softener and full run.Can plumbing piping be cool? We sure think so, as Mr. Erwin is both talented at his craft and skilled in his follow through. One of the best companies we have hired in 55 years of living here in Alaska.Thank you Mr. Erwin for your excellence, skillfulness and kindness, they are much appreciated in your chosen fields of work.I would recommend this company to everyone without a single reservation.     Erwin is a very skilled tradesman. His work ethic is extremely high. He is very respectful and will explain the problem to customers in very simple and understandable language so that customers understand what they are dealing with.     Erwin saved our livelihood. I think he is an angel in disguise. He sacrificed his time to come out right away when we had water leaking near our well pump.     Erwin Plumbing And Heating was recommended to us by another master plumber, whom was unable to do the work we needed. When we called Erwin Plumbing And Heating, Landis asked detail questions about our problems and came out almost immediately.Landis access our system, determined what our issues were, and replaced warned/broken part to get our heat working. He stayed until the job was completed and ensure the system was functioning properly. Landis made recommendations on what needed to be fixed immediately and what needed to be replaced or updated at a later time. Landis called the following day to ask how the heat was working and came out the same day to make adjustments. Landis was able to get our system up and functioning properly after multiple failed attempts by other companies.We will be using Erwin Plumbing And Heating in the future to update and maintain our homes heating system.     I contacted Erwin Plumbing and was able to set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment Mr. Erwin himself was at my door ready and willing to fix my plumbing issues. I was ready to face the epic disaster that plumbing nightmares are made of, however, Mr. Erwin quickly identified the problem and provided the solution saving my family from a weekend of no water and preventing further water damage to my home. He was polite, professional, and helpful. He explained in detail exactly what he was doing and why. He retrieved the needed parts, fixed the problem and was in and out within 2 hours.     Erwin was AMAZING. A total life saver. We called him after our homes furnace went out in the middle of winter. It was -10 degrees outside and the home was quickly getting cold inside. He came to our house within 30 minutes of our call, diagnosed our furnace, and was able to locate the parts needed and get it fixed and up and running the very next day. Our experience has been excellent with this team on several different projects including installation of propane heat & piping to our garage and extension/upgrading of our current plumbing/heating needs to our guest cabin. Pricing has been fair, the team has been timely & responsive and has followed through on all agreed upon timelines.     I called several plumbers over the course of several months to come fix our hot water issues and none of them could do what Landis at Erwin plumbing and heating did in less than a couple hours. We got the runaround from all the previous plumbers. None of them could fix or offer any solutions. Eventually our boiler got completely plugged up and quit working. Cold showers were our norm for a week. We lost all hope of finding someone that knew what they were doing. Well long story short Landis walked in and immediately started solving our issue. Fast Clean and efficient. Amazing! We finally found a good honest plumber and we now have our hot water back. I highly recommend Erwin plumbing and heating to anyone.     We had unknown damage to our holding tank that did not become apparent until nearly three weeks after the big earthquake. Erwin Plumbing came out immediately and assessed the situation. We believed we would need a new holding tank, and we were prepared to go without water until after Christmas. Erwin Plumbing called back on Christmas Eve, said that he wanted to try another solution, and asked if he could come by. To make a long story short, he saved the day just in time for Christmas, and we shelled out a lot less than we expected to. I highly recommend this company and will continue to call them for all of our plumbing needs.

    Landis really cares about his customers. He went the extra mile to fix our on-demand water heater that controls our in-floor heat and supplies the water to the faucets . When he tried everything he knew to do he called the manufacturer and together they went over the whole system, double checking all the sensors, checking everything they could think of. It took a couple of tries but it is working perfectly now. No other plumber has done that for us. The two previous plumbers who worked on the system couldn’t find the problem and suggested we replace it. He saved us a lot of money. I recommend him to all my friends. They are happy with him too.

    I hired Landis Erwin to replace the cartridge in my Delta shower. He picked up the part and showed me what it actually costs. No hiking up the price on the parts. He went to work quickly and was done in an hour. So far no leaks. He was very professional and respectful of me and my home. I felt safe having him in my home. I will definitely hire him again and would highly recommend his company.
