    Mike and his team at M Lahr Homes built our dream home in Winter Park. He helped us choose our lot and worked with us throughout the entire process. His design team is excellent and helped us design the house to our exact specifications. Once completed Ryan was very responsive and helpful resolving any lingering issues and making sure things went smoothly. Mike and his team are very professional and do amazing work. Our finished house is a beautiful custom home. I cannot recommend M Lahr enough if you are building a home in the Orlando Area!

    Mike, Buddy, Ryan, Erin and the rest of the team are the best! We worked with M. Lahr Homes in 2017-2018 and they helped us design and complete our vision for a modern twist on a mid-century style home in Delaney Park. Mike was personally involved initially in helping us pick a potential home/lot site, and then also helped in presenting variances to the city board. Once that was out of the way, Buddy took over as Project Manager and kept the project on-time and on-budget. Whenever an issue came up during the process it was handled professionally and equitably by Mike and Buddy. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. Recently, we had a few minor issues with a window and a sliding door, and Ryan (the warranty manager) came out and helped us resolved them quickly, 3 and a half years after the project was completed.

    Its been a year and a half since we moved into our Custom spec M. Lahr home. I can say that we still continue to admire our home every day. We started this build amidst covid and during a challenging supply chain period, however the team at M. Lahr was very transparent and communicative at all times. Were very appreciative of M. Lahrs teams flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests during the build. We love our home. Thanks to Mike, Erin, Ryan and Mary for helping hand hold the build process.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Building with M.Lahr Homes has made our home dreams a reality. We brought to the table a modern and ambitious set of schematic plans. They were able to take those ideas and build the unique vision we knew was possible at a price point we could afford.Being first time home builders, we were referred to Lahr from our architect who we trust and hold in high esteem. Before our first consultation, we toured a completed Lahr home and immediately knew he was the one capable of getting the job done. We were not clients solely on a mission to build a home, but designers on a mission to create a statement.As an interior designer, I am aware of the teamwork and obstacles that occur in construction. Any obstacles faced were solved with professionalism and solutions that fit my vision. I had many custom requests and Lahr’s team was able to meet those challenges and expectations.Lastly, having a modern design requires great attention to detail and they were able to deliver on those details. From design, to project management, to warranty – the totality of having met so many design elements both large and small has rendered an amazing outcome and positive home build experience. The teamwork and people behind M.Lahr Homes truly has made the statement we set out to make. We are so proud and thankful to have built with them.

    M Lahr met our custom home goals, functional beautiful home with price consciousness. Mike and Erin are always in communication from day one, from meeting the architect (Cosette is amazing!) to permit process to build all the way to the CO … and even after. As with any custom home build, there are hurdles, whether it’s product availability or construction issue, but with M Lahr it is addressed and resolved. They want satisfied customers and they aim for integrity behind their name.Mike is very approachable and thorough and detail oriented.Mary was our design consultant and she is always searching for the best match within our budget. She was organized and supportive, which is critical when selecting every little product in a custom home.Joey our super, really nice person, easy to talk to and always available for any questions or issues.Ryan, our warranty person, is the best … available by phone text even to date.There are many people not mentioned, Buddy & David who handle permits and finances… they are very professional and understand the industry very well.Yes we recommend M Lahr Homes because they are reliable, knowledgeable and experienced. Thanks for our wonderful home. We love it!

    Awesome People! We chose M Lahr Homes to build our house and couldn’t be more thankful. I think challenges come with building any custom home but their approach and resolution is what really stands out. Also can’t say enough about their care for us well after the house completion. Ryan, M Lahr’s warranty manager is amazing. We’re 2.5 years out and any issue big or small (ours have been small) they handle promptly and with no questions asked. I think Mike Lahr and Co have a level of genuine care that is hard to find. We love our house and hope to never leave but if we do we will definitely go back to M Lahr.

    Today marks our first anniversary since we moved in to our custom dream house built by M. Lahr in Winter Park. If you are looking for honest, professional, reasonable, and transparent builder who stand behind their work then don’t look any further.After interviewing many custom builders, Mike Lahr showed nothing except enthusiasm and passion toward our ideas and was willing to deliver exactly what my husband and I envisioned. Everyone in their team goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers.I can’t thank enough Doug Fisher, our project manager, for walking us through the process from day 1 to the day we moved into our beautiful house. He was so amazing, always available and had extraordinary problem solving skills. After we moved in, Doug handed everything to our warranty manager, the one and only Ryan Brown! He was able to overcome any obstacles we ran into despite the limitations caused by the pandemic. He is outstanding, prompt, very handy and truly cares about your family’s comfort and satisfaction. Overall, the entire process from start to finish was a seamless experience and we are so grateful for that.Our house has been a show stopper in Winter Park and we can’t express our gratitude towards Mike Lahr and his team for making our dream into reality. If we ever decide to build again, we know who to call :) WE LOVE OUR HOME AND TEAM M.LAHR!

Mike and his staff were able to professionally and efficiently handle the entire process and build two beautiful homes. He and his staff helped guide me through permitting, design and build with class, professionalism and efficiency. His knowledge of the process and his ability to overcome challenges is as good as it gets.     Mike Lahr has built 2 high end custom modern homes for me, one in Maitland and 1 in Merritt Park and I’m extremely satisfied with Mike and his team.Building homes can be extremely stressful but knowing Mike always was looking out for my best interest makes the stressful times a lot more tolerable.The whole team has always been very responsive, extremely professional and always honest. He has always stood behind his work and without hesitation has taken care of the few issues that have popped up.I highly recommend M Lahr Homes and I would not hesitate usIng them on next project.

    We have been in our M. Lahr home 20 months now, and could not be more pleased with the end result, or with the process. We had not built a home prior; so many people talk about the negative experiences and the challenges of building in general. Our experience with M. Lahr Homes was quite the contrary. At the end of the day, Mikes name is on each project, and that is 100% how he approaches his work. He is realistic, honest, and transparent, and has put together a team that is committed to communication and quality work. Each M. Lahr home is fresh and unique. From start-to-finish, this home building team dedicates a great deal of time and attention to design details, holding your hand along the way as you select fixtures, features, and finishes. And when your project is complete, M. Lahr stands by its work/warranties. We dont just love the home we are in, we would build with M. Lahr again...and we would not be their first repeat-clients!

    My wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a Lahr home just over 1 year ago and we could not be happier with our experience. This is my third new build experience; while each was unique and consisted of both positives and challenges, this was our first where we felt like we had a lasting relationship with a builder that cared about us enjoying our forever home.Ours was not a custom build from the start, as we engaged them as they were mid-build on a spec home, but I felt they were forthright regarding what they could accommodate versus not, knowing than it was not a true custom build for us. I felt they took the time to understand us and how we would enjoy our home and incorporated that in to the remaining process, which was more than we could ever ask.Since our initial move in, they are just a phone call or email away, for both warranty and non-warranty related items. I can’t tell you how invaluable that has been, as we have had random incidents occur (not related to the construction of the home) where it was vital to have access to information only they would have.I will say that, having some experience with new construction, there are plenty of opportunities to become disappointed anytime you build a home. Schedules are fluid, communication is key, and understanding that virtually nothing is 100% perfect the first time around is a perspective clients should have in mind. It’s how the client and the builder work through these moments that defines the relationship, in my opinion. As it relates to the Lahr team, we are very pleased with our experience and look forward to working with them again in the future (but not too soon, because we love our home!).

    We have been in our home for about four years. We are as happy with it today as we were the day we finished construction. Mike, Erin and their team were professional, courteous, and great partners during the design and building process. Moreover, they stand behind their work and have always made things right (of which there have only ever been very minor issues). I would highly and without reservation recommend them as a builder.

    When I was looking for a new home, I saw an M Lahr home for sale and liked it so much I decided to meet with them to discuss how we could work together on a custom home, in the location of my choice. I was completely confident in Mike and his team, and I would trust them again. When my home was finished I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything had gone, since everyone worried me with other nightmare stories about contractors! Obviously there were bumps in the road and a few things here and there that needed fixing, but even more than a year (actually two) down the road the M Lahr team is only an email or text away to help make things right.

    M. Lahr Homes built our house this past year and we couldnt be happier with it! The whole experience and communication and was great from start to finish, and the house turned out amazing. Their in-house interior designer helped us with all selections and really made it all come together.     My house is still in the process of being built, but I cant say enough about Mike and the rest of his team. From day 1 until now, they have been incredibly easy to work with, super thoughtful about their designs and they do not skimp on quality of work. What I love is that they include you in important decisions, but when theyre not in contact, its because the work is being managed and handled perfectly and professionally. The way they work instills a sense of confidence that everything will turn out just right and as expected. If at any point you have a question or point of confusion, theyre quick to address it and quick to pivot if needed. And when you have a moment of panic (you will) theyll talk you down because they have it handled. Ive always heard that building a house is super stressful, but NOT if youre working with M. Lahr Homes. Exemplary builders and designers. Im laughing at the negative reviews because if youre thoughtlessly dropping in a one line sentence about your discontent after building a full home, you clearly didnt build with this team. Theyre amazing.

    I would highly recommend MLahr Homes if youre build a new home anywhere in the greater Orlando area. We bought one of their Parade of Homes winning homes in College Park and loved it so much we had them build a new home for us in Winter Park. The quality of workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail from Mike and his entire team make the entire experience memorable. Whether dealing with Mike directly or one of his team members, they have always be reachable, attentive and responsive. Im happy to refer Mike and his team to anyone interested.     We have been in our M. Lahr home for two years now and continue to be impressed with their product and service. From our first meeting with Mike, he was incredibly professional and responsive. Erin was so helpful in the design and aesthetics during and after our house was complete. Joey was always available to answer any questions throughout the process or meet us at the site as was Mike. And Ryan continues to be awesome and quickly responsive to any concerns we have had after. He has reassured and helped many times—even if they were concerns a result of my toddler’s curiosity! As the daughter of a custom builder, I had a tough critic with my father. He has had nothing but praise for the beautiful and quality product from the team. I highly recommend them and know we will go with them for any future homes!

    Mike and his crew did a fantastic job on our new home. We have been in the home for 4 years. We have only had a couple of little glitches which were handled quickly by Ryan Brown. Ryan helped us recently with an issue from hurricane Ian. His prompt response is one of the reasons we love our M. Lahr Home.
