    I lost power to half my home, the result of an old exterior mounted disconnect switch. Called Excel Electrical for a quote, I found them to be very responsive and easy to work with. After my approval of their quote, they were out the next morning, on time, just as promised. The scope of the work involved replacing the disconnect switch with a whole house breaker as well as some other minor tasks to bring everything up to code. Weather conditions were less than ideal, but everything was completed and my home was back to normal that afternoon. They are a great company and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending or using them again if necessary.

    Excel Electrical Technologies, Inc., is a great company to use! We have been clients for the last 15+ years and they have never let us down. This week I called for a couple basement light replacements. The owner arrived promptly when he said he would - we didnt have to wait and there was no between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. business. He inspected the job, took specifications and made an appointment for the work - the next morning! The technician arrived and was not only thorough, quiet, unobtrusive, and genial, but COMPETENT. The fixtures were installed to my specifications within an hour. He took my check and left. I couldnt be happier with the results.

    Excel Electrical in Orland Park is great. The Manager Omar came out to assess the work that was needed right away (and it wasnt even an emergency) and provide a price (reasonable). Omar reassured me the electrical system did not need the very expensive upgrades and replacements two other electricians advised. He also showed me on paper with calculations and demonstrations why the upgrades were not needed. Had I known this I would not have waited more than a year to have a short out circuit fixed, thinking Id have to replace the breaker box and update everything in it as well as wiring. Alixi the Project Manager performed the repairs. He was soft spoken, polite and even tolerated my dog that barked the entire morning. Neither of them judged the way my house looks (work in progress). Please give them the opportunity to assess the situation and provide estimates. They were willing to work in phases for some other work I want done. I will definitely be calling them back for additional work next year.

    Excel Electrical Technologies recently helped us with some projects in our new home. Omar initially provided a detailed estimate by taking the time to make sure he understood each of our requests. Based on the proposal, we scheduled the work and Israel and Doug arrived to provide amazing white-glove service. They found that one of our repair requests was not actually necessary so they removed it from the work order which lowered our costs significantly. This is a company with ethics and integrity, their prices are reasonable, and we have complete confidence in their work. They communicate very effectively and show up on time, every time.     I have had the pleasure of working with Excel Electrical several times with an array of services that have ranged from light design, installation, and most recently a changed lightbulb.     My mom has used Excel and referred me for a closet light fixture that I needed repaired. I was very happy with my experience! From the sweet lady that answered my initial call to the repair completion. They were courteous, apologized for being a little late (to be fair, the weather was bad earlier in the day, so I’m sure that played a part), and completed the job quickly and efficiently.     This was one of the smoothest companies I have worked with in a while. I called, got a quote same day, got a couple other quotes, Excel came out to be the most reasonable.     Very excellent and exceptional customer service. Circuit breaker went out this morning. Kitchen, basement and one upstairs room was without power. Couldnt get in touch with our previous electrician. Omar from Excel was a life saver. Had medicine that requires refrigeration. They came as promised...today. Had available parts for replacement and completed work quickly. We will be calling them again this summer for more electrical work outside.     This company is EXCELLENT! Their level of honesty and integrity is hard to come by these days and the work is superior. They rewired my entire home at a great price.     I highly recommend Omar and his team. Omar was extremely courteous, professional and calm when I met him for an estimate. He calmed my fears about items on an inspection report that werent a big deal from a practical application standpoint. His estimate was very clear, straightforward and really reasonable on price. The team members who came out to complete the job were courteous, hard working and were extremely careful not to damage anything, ding walls or floors, or let dust or debris get anywhere. I made a few changes to my project needs day of, and there were no issues. Final number paid was exactly as expected. Great job!!

    Omar was excellent! My lights had been flickering for 3 days and lost my power in half of my house. Called at 8 am in the morning and was taken care of the same day. He inspected our breaker box and all other electricalAnd found out from Omar after he went outside that it was a comed problem. The wires were melting. Omar is knowledgeable and a gentleman.

    Omar and the Excel crew are exactly what I was looking for in qualified electricians.I originally called Excel to have an electrical inspection to make sure my 100+ year old house was up to code, and to talk with them about some electric issues I was concerned about. Omar came out within days of my call; inspected the circuit breaker box, conduit installation to the box, the wiring outside and told me that the original installation was right - I did not need an inspection, and would not be charged for one. I have hired Excel twice since Omars initial visit a few months ago; the crew he sent was extremely conscientious with installations, and measured precisely where specific outlets and lights needed to be installed. They were on time, courteous, focused, thoroughly cleaned up when the job was done, and answered all my questions. I sincerely appreciate that each time I’ve called the office, whether for the inspection or to discuss having work done, Omar returned my call the same day and patiently talked me through my concerns without being condescending..     I called Saturday afternoon and was told that Omar would call Monday morning. Omar called first thing Monday and gave me a two hour window of when he would arrive. He kept me advised of his time to come to my home. When he arrived he diagnosed and corrected the wiring problem. We had no power in our master bedroom and hallway lights. He found a loose wire, tightened the connection, and put everything back together. When I have electrical problems in the future Excel Electrical Technologies, Inc. will be the one I call.

    Very impressed with the work Excel Electrical Technologies did at our home. Omar came right out and gave us a fair price on rewiring a 85 y/o home that had cloth wiring that we wanted brought up to code.A few days later Israel and Doug (electricians) were at the house working very hard rewiring the house, answering any questions I had. They were very professional and also pointed out that our garage which had outlets in it which weren’t up to code wouldn’t pass inspection. Something I hadn’t even thought of, they corrected it for me.I will definitely recommend this company to everyone I know.

However, in this case after the excellent, and professional service that we received from Excel Electrical Technologies, Inc. we felt compelled to make an exception. As you can see from both the review, and the length of the review - we were extremely satisfied with EET Inc. service. Good, honest, and quality service seem to be hard to find in most businesses today. Our interaction with the entire EET team has renewed our faith in there at least being one business that understands, and executes how to take care of its customers. EET was extremely responsive (Out the same day as our call for service - providing an estimate coupled with an expeditious date for service/repair). Throughout the entire process - Omar, Israel, and Doug took the time to carefully listen, and troubleshoot each issue and then move forward to resolve them. Cant say enough regarding how impressed, and happy we were with EET, Inc. service.     Omar is wonderful. I called in the morning, hoping to get an appointment for the same day. Omar called me back within an hour, and was able to come out the same day. He took one look at our light fixture, and knew exactly what was wrong. He didnt need to actually fix anything, and what was unexpected was that he didnt charge us for the visit! UNHEARD OF in todays world. We will definitely use him in the future for all our electrical needs!

    Im a Homewood, IL resident. I had a utility pole fall during a windstorm (turns out I own the utility pole, not ComEd) and Omar and his team at Excel Electrical were responsive, thorough and just simple amazing to work with. I was worried about the pole and burying the line (it is a big, big job; very long yard) - Omar instilled the greatest confidence through his knowledge, patience with my questions and overall professional demeanor (his whole team were like this - polite too!!!). I hated having to deal with the pole but Omar and Excel REALLY made dealing with the worst of it smooth.     This company was recommended to me by a co-worker. I explained the problem of smelling burning wire on the upper level of my house. They traced the issue to a burned out socket and replaced it, and also repaired 3 light fixtures that havent worked in a few years! Israel and his partner did good work!

    RELIABLE AND EXCELLENT CONTRACTORWith months of annoying intermittent power disruptions and lights/cable TV flickerings, Comed advised that weve been receiving full power to our Palos Heights household meter, and that we should consult with a licensed electrician to look into the problem weve been complaining about. Thats when I got to know, through online search, Excel Electrical Technologies. Omar, of the company, showed up here on time and physically inspected all of some 20 circuit breakers in the main breaker box. With all appliaces and lights turned on, he confidently determined that nothing is wrong with any one of the circuit breakers and that my problem is most likely the meter connections in the back of the house. He then stepped outside, in the middle of pouring rain where Comed meter is located, opened up and pulled the meter off the meter socket box to show me, physically, meter socket burns which he said the root cause of our problems. Knowing some basics on inhouse electrical works, I knew right away, that Im dealing with an honest and truthful electrician. Other contractors could have easily figured out the same problem but probably replace some circuit breakers unnecessarily in the main breaker box, and make a big deal out of the same work and nobody, as a layman, could dispute it. However, Excel Electrical Technologies did not. They honestly, in my guts-feeling, wrote down the required basis of the contract work. As soon as the days long rain stopped, they dug and replaced the underground socket meter box with a new unit and restored the power back to our house free from the any flickerings and disruptions. Were very glad and pleased to have met these people, and hope to have more contractors like this one in our community. I personally, highly recommend them for their honest, punctual and reliable work.LMV
