    I want to say thank you so much for the wonderful job Curt P did installing my new hot water heater and replacing my main shut off valve. He was professional, courteous, thorough in his work and explained things to me as needed. He used drop cloths to protect my floors and a shop vac at the end of the job. I received a detailed receipt of the work performed and Curt made sure I had no further questions at the end. Curt was extremely knowledgeable and I will definitely recommend Mr. Rooter to family and friends.

    We contacted Mr. Rooter to install a shut off valve on our gas stove as a result of our handyman of over 30 years being engaged in a personal emergency where he could not come out. Mr. Rooter agreed to come out in 24 hours and provide a free estimate which they did. While the estimate was significantly higher than what our handyman would have charged, the mechanic agreed to give us $25 off with his coupon upon the condition that we post a Google review. Given our desire to get this immediately done, we retained their services. The mechanic was very pleasant and it appears that the installation was performed competently.

    I had a great experience with Mike and Curt from Mr. Rooter of Glenside and would highly recommend the company. When my water heater went out, I contacted Mr. Rooter and they showed up within a couple hours to diagnose the issue. Mike explained everything to me transparently and clearly throughout the two visits. Their pricing is competitive and more than worth the quality of work and customer service. When we had an unexpected cost increase from a warranty issue, Curt was empathetic and gave us a discount even though he didnt have to. Overall, great experience with Mr. Rooter and will use them for future projects.

    Curt, Kevin and Jake of Mr Rooter plumbing were awesome! We had tree roots that grew into our clay sewer pipe which the team replaced with cast iron and a pop up.     I had an amazing experience using Mr Rooter of Glenside. My sewer main was clogged with roots and needed to be replaced. Mr Rooter came to my home and put a camera down the line to investigate the blockage for free. They provided an estimate which was both fair an honest (based on the other estimates I received). Curt Phair and his team were amazingly communicative and explained the process to me in terms I was able to easily understand. I called and scheduled on a Tuesday and 3/19/19 and they were at my house on Friday 3/22/19.The day of my repair was dreary, it had been raining all day and everything in my yard was mud. Curt and his team still came out to do the job and were polite and courteous through the whole ordeal. I now have a fully functioning sewer main with pipes that will be able to resist any future encroaching tree roots.No new homeowner wants to receive news like a clogged main, its expensive and a hassle. But the service I received from Curt and his team at Mr. Rooter Glenside was top notch, and worth every penny.

    Tyler came out to our home and provided excellent customer service. He was prompt and friendly. He was able to fix our water heater and saved us a ton of money. It was actually a pretty simple fix. We had another well known company come out first and they wanted to charge us thousands for the install of a new water heater without thoroughly inspecting the one we had. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter and will definitely use them for business the future.

    Ive contracted work with Mr. Rooter of Glenside a few times and its always been a great experience. I had an issue with a leaky toilet, and my plumber was able to diagnose and fix the issue with ease. Despite the bad news of having old pipes that required more than switching out the plastic flange, Mike (my plumber) took the time to inform me of the work that had to be done, why it needed to be done, and justified the cost. His expertise and professionalism were top notch and I would gladly have him or anyone from their establishment do work on my house again. Thank you!

    From start to finish, the process was absolutely seamless! I called with an emergency and a plumber was at my door in 20ā€“30 minutes.     I received one of those flyers in the mail from Mr. Rooter. Iā€™d been having a clogged drain issue in my kitchen for months so I scheduled an appointment online and they came out the next day. Tyler, the Mr Rooter plumber not only cleared the drain in my kitchen in a timely manner but he also took the time to explain my plumbing issues and double checked to my sure the drain was completely open. Although I thought the price was a little high I would definitely recommend Mr Rooter to family and friends (especially if you donā€™t have one of those home warranty)

Curt, the owner of the company, reached out directly to apologize for the late response and the time it took them to get back to us.I sincerely believe this was a one-off omission and that it doesnt reflect the way they would normally handle customer service.We worked it out, and I am willing to give them another chance next time we have a plumbing requirement given.Background:We recently had Rooter come to our property to fix a leak in our bathtub faucet caused by the cartridge.This cartridge had already been replaced by Rooter just over a year ago.Based on Rooters 2 year warranty we thought that the repair was going to be fully covered, however their technician stated that the labor was excluded from the warranty.We looked at the Warranty coverage & exclusions, and still cannot find any verbiage that specificy that labor is excluded. We attempted to reach out to customer service on three occasions since 12/6 and have not heard anything back to this day!

    I called after hours (10:30 pm) the on call guy was 12 minutes from my house. He came right away and worked for 2 hours to unclog our pipe. Without leaving gross details, it wasnt the best working conditions. He was kind and chatted with us the whole time. It did cost just under $500, but if you saw what was happening, you would think $500 was ok. Its the 3rd time Ive used Mr Rooter and Ive been pleased every time.

    Not only did the plumber show up only 30 minutes after I actually scheduled the appointment, he was quick, efficient and was very informative. I ended up with more of a repair than I expected but also a longer lasting repair and my issue was resolved immediately upon him finishing. 10/10 will be calling for ALL of my plumbing needs in the future.

    If youre looking for fast, reasonable, non-pushy plumbing service, this is it. WOW! Mr. Rooter of Glenside quite literally saved our day and they did it FAST. We called Mr. Rooter of Glenside at around 12:30pm today because of a backed up shower drain that was leaking sewage - needless to say we needed help quickly. Sally, who answered the call, was very courteous and friendly, quickly asked for the info on the job and location and let us know she would get someone out between 2pm-4pm to help, if not sooner. I am not kidding you when I say that less than 20 minutes later a Mr. Rooter truck pulled up outside of our house. Kevin was very friendly and came in, walked the house with me to understand the plumbing layout, diagnosed the issue, let us know what had to be done and brought up a very reasonable estimate right away. As soon as we signed off, Kevin and his assistant Sean got right to work and in less than an hour had everything fixed and ready to go. They were clean, polite, and insanely efficient. They didnt try to add-on any additional services or sell us on anything, just fix the problem and let us know theyd be ready to help if we ever needed it again. I am truly blown away by the service we received. Weve had some pretty terrible experiences with some other companies weve worked with in the past and going into this I wasnt sure what to expect. Now I can confidently say that Mr. Rooter has a new loyal customer. Obviously the lightning fast arrival and work time shouldnt be seen as the standard, but the fact that they were so efficient and kind really made all of the difference. I cannot recommend this company enough - as I said at the beginning, if you are looking for fast and reliable plumbing services in the Glenside/Abington/Willow Grove area, look no further.

    The plumber Tyler was kind, helpful, efficient and explanatory. He let me know the cost before he started the work which I really appreciated and he left the bathroom cleaner than when he arrived. He also included products to help for this trip and for future maintenance and offered to deliver it if heā€™s in the area. I would request him again for sure. The computer system was delayed however, and I didnā€™t get any text or call confirmations or updates on the service times. I also wasnā€™t able to track my appointment online. I called the professional directly and had to leave a message and when I called the company I was told they were running late (already 30 min past the entire window I scheduled) and then 20 min later I got a call from the professional. After the job was complete I got an invoice quickly and then an hour after that I got the update texts with a photo of the professional. So, all in all a good system, just really delayed today for some reason.

    On site estimate was done in a courteous and knowledgeable fashion. Care was taken to protect the premises. An explanation of the problem, as well as reasonable options, was presented in a simple and easy to understand fashion. It was a pleasure working with office personnel to work out the details of the project once we made our vendor selection. We were able to schedule our repair quickly and without any issues. The repair crew showed up on time and completed the entire project in less than a full day. Very much appreciated that the crew worked to reduce the overall impact of the repair on our existing landscaping. Even more appreciated was that the technician that provided the estimate was responsible for completion of the repair. Overall my husband and I were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the work done by Mr. Rooter. We would certainly hire them again and would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs, large or small.

Here is our experience.After living in our home for only three weeks, we discovered that our main line had been clogged due to several years of supposed drainage misuse and build-up. Initially we used the services of Montco-Rooter (no business relation) and upon completion of work, they informed us that the line had been cleared. This cost $450 (haggled down from $645). After two days, the basement sink overflowed again and we called again to request their services. The dispatcher informed me that it would be an additional $584 to camera the line. In other words, a total investment exceeding $1030 before any substantial work would be completed to clear our clogged line. All in all, we would have been looking at a $2000+ expenditure.Instead of using their services for the additional $584, I called a competitor. They cameraā€™d, cleaned, and used a high-pressure hose to open the line for nearly HALF the asking price of the other company. Mr. Rooter was far and away the more professional, reasonable, and trustworthy plumbing servicer and they delivered effective results. I am appreciative of their efforts (Kevin and his crew) and would use them again in the future.Save yourselves some time and research, and just use Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Glenside.

    I had a great experience using Mr Rooter of Glenside and would highly recommend. I had some sewage backup in a downstairs shower and Curt Phair came right out to my home to help out. He was able to put a camera down the line and investigate the problem which were some roots in the pipes. After cleaning out the sewage line to clear the blockages he even investigated further to explain some potential problems that could occur down the line.The communication I had with Curt was very professional, he was up front about costs, and his explanations of everything was very thorough.     Well, nobody enjoys plumbing problems, especially serious ones! But I have to say, that from the word go, this company has been a pleasure to work with. I called first thing in the morning about a potentially serious blockage / backup and within a couple of hours, Mr. Rooters Master Plumber, Kevin (Hare) was at the house to evaluate the situation. He was pleasant and thorough and highly competent, and within less than half an hour, we had a plan. We arranged to have the preliminary, exploratory work done and then go from there.The next day, Curt (Phair), the Operations Manager arrived, on time, and together with Kevin, began the job. By early afternoon, they had the problem diagnosed and explained the options to me, with no pressure, no hype...just clear information I needed to make a decision. They quoted the price, which, considering the extent of the job, was very reasonable. As it turned out, I decided to go ahead with some additional work while things were dug up rather than trying to save a buck now, and then possibly have to do it over again, down the road. They finished on time, tested the repair (replacement of old terra cotta waste line and clean-out) and cleaned up out front.Theyve been a pleasure to work with, highly professional but friendly and certainly experts at their trade. We can breath easy now! After 70 years, it was time to deal with the old, original waste line pipes. Couldnt recommend these guys more highly and certainly wouldnt bother with anyone else now, if we ever need any other serious work done.

    My family and I were without hot water for about a week because of water damage to our almost new 50 gallon tank. Mr. Rooters staff was able to install a tankless water heater for a fair price (same ball park as two companies, and substantially less than the 4th).Curt and Tyler were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard to restore our hot water.While other companies quoted this as a multiple day job, Mr. Rooters staff got the project done in about 6 hours, which was fantastic! The total team of four members helped throughout the process of removing and installing.I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter for their plumbing services, even if youre unsure- allow them the opportunity to quote the job, and earn your business.. you will not be disappointed! We got the work done in April, but I waited a bit to make sure it worked as well as Id hoped... tankless water heaters are worth the extra money.
