    Our lovely home in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle was built in 1926. It is one of the first 4 homes built in this block and one of only 2 remaining. It was important to us that we could find craftspeople capable of restoring, not just replacing, our beautiful leaded glass windows, their frames and sashes.It was a pleasure to work with Brenda in the office and she sent Will to come and do the estimate. Unlike other companies who send estimators who do not actually do the work, Will discussed the specific details of our job and how he and the window restorers would proceed. I thought the pricing of the quote was quite fair.When it came time to do the work it was Will on the job. The windows were removed and sent to Portland to be restored. Will made sure the wood temporary panel was well sealed against the elements and cleaned up after himself.It did take a couple of months to fully restore the windows but we were fine with that. When they arrived we were amazed at how nice they looked, with brand new combing and the frames were primed and ready to install. Will, Michael and Hunter did the frame and sash demolition and replacement and window installation and then gave me as much time as I needed to do the finish painting, which I did myself to save a little money. Again, they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. When I called that I was ready for the storm windows to be installed, they showed up a couple of days later and completed the job.I recommend Chosen Wood Window Maintenance to my friends and neighbors and will use them again on any future projects. Nice work team!

    Replaced a big piece of glass window with this company. Rob who did the estimate was very knowledgeable, Austin and Matt who did the actual work was professional and detail oriented. Highly recommended .

    I couldnt ge happier with the work that was performed. We had one window with a broken glass pane that they replaced, one with two broken cords that now functions perfectly and one that rattled when the wind blew that is now weatherproof. The crew was wonderful. They arrived on time and got right to work. They were efficient and left absolutely no mess. They were so polite, professional and kind. I will not hesitate to use them again when we can have our other windows taken care of.

    Absolutely amazing how saving 100 year old windows is a cost effective and sustainable approach to home improvement and renovation. Im now convinced that tight grain old growth wood windows that have already proved themselves for 90-100 years should be given a chance to serve many more decades to come. Vinyl windows will succumb to UV and have to be replaced three times before restored wood windows wear out. I actually used a combination of vinyl replacement windows and restored wood windows for an overall reduced total project cost, but wood windows you might think are too far gone are salvageable. Go with Chosen: they get it and quickly did an amazing job for a great price.

    Chosen Wood Windows is an unbelievable resource. They really are wood window experts. It’s been great working with them and learning about all of the resources they have available. I like that wood windows can be restored – it’s a sustainable and smart way to take something old and make it new again. And they can make windows more energy efficient than the originals. Their capabilities are impressive.
