    Alan at Olmsted Electric is top-notch! He helped us with a bathroom renovation a while back, running new lines upstairs, and we were impressed and didnt hesitate to call him again recently when another issue arose knowing everything is done right and to code.He returns calls quickly, is flexible with scheduling, and works around your schedule to find a time that fits.I highly recommend Alan at Olmsted Electric for any electrical needs.     Alan was prompt and professional. I never struggled to get in-touch with him, and he showed up on-time for both the quoting and performing of the work.He sent his initial quote for service within 24hrs of his visit and was able to squeeze me in relatively quickly for the actual job. His quote was more than reasonable and he was wonderful to work with and very respectful and mindful of not tracking dirt/snow into my home and cleaning up/making sure the area was tidy after he was finished.Highly recommend giving Olmsted Electric a try!

    Ive used Alan/Olmsted Electric twice. First, to upgrade/update the wiring for my hot tub. Second, most recently, to check out my electrical service due to some issues. The first visit required a quote and scheduling. Everything was explained, including options, and the final price and work were great. The recent second visit, Alan, came out the next morning after I contacted him and advised me to contact The Illuminating Company as it appeared something was seriously wrong with the line from the transformer to the house. Sure enough they had to replace the whole line. Will definitely contact Alan for future needs and recommend him highly.

    I called Alan to hire him to install a bathroom exhaust fan but unfortunately our schedules didnt align, however this didnt stop Alan from taking time from his busy schedule to help me troubleshoot my electrical wires and helped me finish the installation when he was under no obligation to even give me advice. Alan is a true professional and his humanity really showed by helping a total stranger. Throughout the whole process Alan was even keeled and explained everything like a good teacher would. Honestly I cant say enough good things about Alan and Olmstead Electric except that this is an A+ company.

    Alan was wonderful. He was quick to respond by email, requested the info he needed, and was able to quickly fit us in. The work itself was great. He installed a bathroom exhaust fan and light in less than 90 minutes. He cleaned up leaving the bathroom and bedroom area where the fan was sitting in the box as he found it.We would definitely go back to Olmsted Electric for future electrical work.

    I had a fantastic experience with Alan at Olmsted Electric who came out on a weekend to rewire a fan and switch for me. Despite the short notice and weekend timing, he arrived promptly, was incredibly professional, and tackled the job with great skill.     Alan was awesome!! I had a lot of work to be done in my basement and an EV charger installation to be done in the garage. Both jobs were done without any issue and with no mess!!     We had a small issue come up and we’re so glad we called Olmsted Electric to come take a look.Alan was knowledgeable, communicative, and friendly! He was very reasonably priced and straightforward regarding the issue we called on as well as a quote for another project. We’ll be calling him again for any future issues for sure.Update: We called Alan back to install a ventilation fan in our bathroom which has never had one. Again, his communication was great and he was right on time for our appointment. He got the job handled seamlessly from the new hole in the bathroom ceiling to the venting through the roof. He was very tidy, laying down tarps through the area he would be working in and sweeping up after he was finished which I appreciated! We have not had the same follow through from other contractors. Alan is definitely our “go to” for electrical needs going forward!

    I had a great experience running new electrical lines and replacing several light fixtures with recessed lighting units. I was able to schedule and receive and estimate quickly, and the work was done extremely well. Alan was also very respectful of our home and worked very efficiently and cleaned up so that you wouldnt even know he had worked there. Cant recommend highly enough!

    Alan did a fantastic job with all of our electrical work. Very friendly & professional. We had a handful of jobs for him including 2 new circuits for our fridge & dishwasher & cleaning up wires in an old kitchen soffit. He completed everything in a timely manner & within the quote. He was able to do all the work without putting any holes in the drywall & was very tidy. We are very happy with his work & already scheduled another date for him to do some more jobs!

    Alan of Olmsted Electric was a pleasure to work with as he’s incredibly personable and knowledgeable. Throughout the repairs, he made sure to explain any steps of the process as well as answer any questions I had and did so in a professional but in a way that’s easy to understand. Scheduling was a breeze, but keep in mind, anyone that’s good at what they do is going to have a bit of a waiting period due to sheer popularity of their services, which is a good thing! Alan went above and beyond the scope of my repairs/diagnostics and pointed out, and repaired, other issues that were in need of immediate repair and spots that might need repaired down the line. If you’re hesitant on finding an excellent electrician, look no further!

    After recently purchasing my home I had the unfortunately luck of my water heater going bad, during the replacement of my water heater we discovered an electrical issue. Called around to many electricians and couldn’t reach any , finally I reached Alan and even though it was after normal business hrs and probably further than he would have liked to travel he came out , diagnosed and correct my problem and restored my faith in humanity in the process. I will be having him back out to replace the entire panel amongst other things. It’s always a pleasure to deal with someone knowledgeable and that takes pride in their work.

    Absolutely amazing! This man is A-1 one of the best!From start to finish his work was impeccable. He upgraded our electrical to 200 amps and installed a new breaker box with additional breakers because our previous one was overloaded to itsmax. He also switched out old exterior lighting fixtures to new ones, installed new outlets in new locations throughout our home and various other upgrades. He pulled the permits, changed everything out, informed us thewhole time as to what he was doing &when and for how long we would be without our electricity. When the job was completed, he cleaned up every little speck! Ive never had such amazing service in my life!

    While we were cleaning the light fixture the box in the ceiling broke and the fixture fell and was hanging by the wires. Alan responded right away to my phone call.
