    One of my toilets stopped flushing, I used an app called Angi to find a plumber, I submitted the issue I was having via message, and I received a reply from Southern Plumbing, I was told someone would come to my home, check what the issue could be, and give me an estimate, we scheduled an appointment the Technician came, checked it, told me what needed to be repaired and it was done! I highly recommend Southern Plumbing! The professional experienced plumbing technician Ryan provided A+ service, and he topped it off with a wonderful personality!! Thank you so much!!

    The quality of the work was outstanding. I think the prices are a bit high and be sure to be clear on a price quote, because I didnt ask enough questions and I expected a job to cost approx. $500 and it was considerably more. That being said, the team there is fantastic and the work is superb.

    This would have been five stars, but there were two notices that they would be there on two different days in which they did not show and there was no notice that they were not coming. When they did come (third appointment), they did a very nice and neat job of installing a new 2X34 ring of casing, a new top, and a hand pump to draw water from the well.

    I just had Southern Plumbing stop by to investigate an awful sewer smell that I was dealing with in my downstairs bathroom. Thanks to the expertise of Daniel he had it figured out immediately. The issue was that we werent using our downstairs shower and sewer gas had backed up in the up-trap. This company has very knowledgeable people!

    Appreciate the work that Southern Plumbing of VA did for our master bathroom. Previous owner did a remodeling project and the bathtub was installed incorrectly and there was a crack. Daniel and his crew did a great job of diagnosing the problem and came in the same week to fix it. They replaced our tub, did tile work, added an access panel to the tub from the exterior wall, and completed it with trimming. I appreciate their attention to detail. It was clear to me that they did not want to leave us without doing their best job. Appreciate the speed and timely communication.

    I am in AWE right now... Ray was superb!!!! Ive had a leak for months at my rental property and when the leak was finally found, I was told the main water line needed to be replaced and it would cost thousands of dollars. Well I decided I wanted a 2nd opinion and Ray came on yesterday, which was Monday 02/05 gave me an honest estimate, (almost half the price of the ridiculous quote Id received previously) and today 02/06 at noon the job is complete and no more leaks!!!! Now I get to submit to chesterfield the repair receipt and get a HUGE adjust on my bill. Thanks Ray youre the best

    In November, I called Southern Plumbing to help find a cause for the dampness in my side yard. When Ryan OConnell came out, he did a through check of all possibilities around and under my house. He found 2 items that needed repair under the house and we set up an appt for the next day. When a problem came up with the gentleman that takes care of my irrigation sys, Ryan did everything possible to figure out the problem, keep me informed and to understand what was going on. And then again when I made the decision to also go forward with the replacement of my waterline from the street to my house, Ryan made sure I understood exactly what was being done. Ryan kept me in the loop at all times and went above and beyond to see that all the repairs were done to my satisfaction. If they were going to run a little late getting to my house, he texted me to let me know. During this entire process there was never any pressure put on me to do something. All costs were presented up front and even when they had to do more than they thought to get the jobs taken care of, those prices did not change.When I called Southern Plumbing, I thought I was getting a plumbing contractor, I had no idea that when all was said and done, I would have a new friend that had my back and my total trust.

    Southern Plumbing should be your first and only call if you are having any plumbing/water issues or just need an honest opinion. Our house is on a well and lost all water pressure this morning (Sunday). I spent the morning trying to troubleshoot a solution. Once noon hit, I realized my limited skills weren’t going to cut it so I started down the path of finding a company who was open and would be willing to do an emergency visit on a Sunday. I called three other places (including my usual plumbing company) and everywhere was either closed, couldn’t come out, or didn’t answer.Southern Plumbing answered on the third ring, was polite and professional in their responses, and promised a technician by 3pm. The technicians did not show up at 3pm… they showed up at 2:30pm ready to solve the issue! And they got straight to diagnosing the problem which they did very quickly. They also did not stop solving problem after problem until we had our water back up and running. They just left at 9:00 and took 0 breaks since their arrival. If that doesn’t speak volumes for customer service, I’m not sure what does.All in all, I had my well pump replaced (that was the culprit and what a process that was, especially on a deep well), electrical connections and piping replaced (all were rotting), a new pressure tank installed (they were clear that my previous tank had a little life left but said they could prolong the system and increase my pressure by a lot, which now we have high pressure in the farthest parts of the house), and replaced the pressure switch which was corroding from years of use).Was all this pricey? Yes. Could I have shopped around for a better price? Probably. Would I use anyone else in the future? Absolutely not. You can’t put a price on customer service, hard work, and quality (no corners were cut, I observed their for most of the day and learned a lot in the process).Again, I highly recommend Southern Plumbing. You won’t regret calling them.
