    Ogburn Construction is a great company to do business with! This is a our second work project and like the first one, they pulled it off professionally for a fair price. Their work is warranted for 10 years, which worked our really well for me. When initially estimating the new work, they made me aware of some minor problems with the previous work and repaired it under warranty while doing the new job. I really cant say enough positive about Ogburn. They run their business like I wish all other businesses did: honest and fair estimates, quality workmanship, and great follow-up if needed.

    Firstly this fantastic product was just too expensive for me but the cost matches the quality. Secondly what I really want to mention was Aaron, this guy was fantastic, he understood my financial limits and tried to meet them. He was kind and he was personable. For the first time in 10yrs of having a home the salesmen made me forget he was trying to sell me something. I honest and true wanted to buy the product because of him and how he showed and spoke about the quality of the product. If all the sales person from this company are like Aaron all of our wallets are in trouble. Aaron was fantastic.

    I was very pleased with the interactions I have had with Marcus regarding an estimate for a sidewalk repair. He is a stellar representative for Ogburn Construction. He is professional yet personable and responds quickly to any inquiries I had. The first day the team consisting of Mynor, Luis and Reynel showed up and began removing the old sidewalk. The owner Dave showed up to see if I had any questions or concerns. I was amazed. Within the day the old sidewalk had been removed and the new sidewalk had been poured. Mynor returned the next day to inspect it and perform a few more tasks. Cleanup was perfect. No debris was left behind. The next team to arrive was the power washing and sealant crew Todd and Bryan. Once again they thoroughly explained everything they were going to do and answered all of my questions. As with the previous team they executed their part flawlessly, with craftsmanship and pride in their work. I am telling you it was like a symphony. There was constant communication with Danielle in the office and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you want quality work, a strong work ethic, and a trustworthy team choose Ogburn construction.

    I recommend this company for any cement work you need. My pool deck was a mess on a couple levels. Ogburn came in, we talked about all options, no pressure, and decided on the best for my needs. Todd and Brian were the techs and did a beautiful job. It looks like it did 25 years ago.

    Justus came and explained the job and how it was going to be done. He grinded out the cracks removed some joints and filled them in. When he was done he left my home clean. He had a good personality and was very patient with all my questions. He gave me some suggestions on how to preserve my driveway more, but I did not have the money at this time. Prices are pretty expensive. All in all I recommend OGBURN CONSTRUCTION.

    Great experience from start to finish. Brian was great when he came out to provide an estimate. Walked through all the details and work that would be performed to level our walkway.     We had a great experience with Ogburn Construction. Justus was awesome and did a wonderful job leveling our patio. It also looks great. While Ogburn was more expensive than a few other quotes we received, they were the only one that offered a flat rate that would not change with the amount of material they ended up using for the concrete leveling. They also offered the longest warranty of their work (10 years) of any of the companies we received quotes from. We are very happy with how it came out and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

    We received several quotes to fix a sagging sidewalk caused by settling backfill. Although not exactly the cheapest quote, we felt the most comfortable with this company and the warranty of the repair work. Team A just completed the job and everything is fixed and back to normal in less that 2 hours. Great job and would highly recommend. Thank you!

    Ogburn Construction, Inc. was truly a great company to work with on our front walkway and driveway apron repair. Their office team answered our call on the first ring, answers all of our initial questions and quickly set us up for an on-site consultation and estimate. After reviewing the extensive cracks, unevenness, etc. in our front walkway and in the poured concrete of the driveway up to the bottom of our home, they shared their professional recommendations and insight on the necessary repairs but provided 3 scopes of work ranging from simple warrantied repair to full restoration with enhancement and protection for us to review and choose from. We selected the intermediate repair level based on our needs and what we actually wanted done, but we can also say the cost of each repair level provided appeared reasonable based on level of complexity, finish and level of future protection offered. Prior to start of our project - approximately 2 total weeks from start to finish - we were contacted multiple times regarding weather patterns that could delay project start date and to see if we had any add’l questions, etc. Even though we experienced some inclement weather within 24hrs of our projected start date, their 2 man crew was on-site early and ready to work. They walked us through the process one last time prior to start and then jumped right in. Both men were very polite and made sure to any questions we still had. They checked with us upon completion and were prepared with card reader in hand to accept our final payment via credit card - all in all, it was an excellent experience. We’d definitely reach out to Ogburn Construction for any future such concrete repair/restoration needs!

    My utility room sits on a concrete slab that had settlement issues, cracks, and some washout underneath. Another concrete company strung me along for a month before saying they couldnt help (without offering an explanation or any suggestions), so I decided to give Ogburn Construction a call. Within days they were at my house to take a look at the issue, and they provided me with an estimate before even leaving the house. Three weeks later, the project is finished and I have a solid, level floor with no cracks! Im very happy with the friendly, professional, and prompt service they provided.

    Overall, a very good experience washing, sealing and repairing my aggregate driveway. Attention to detail and craftsmanship meets a high standard. When theres a problem/issue they respond immediately to get it addressed to the customers satisfaction. I think I paid more than what some others were charging but this had to be done right to protect my investment for the long term...and thats what they did.

    We had Brian (installer) come to level our patio and fix multiple crack and caulk issues. I have never seen anyone work as hard as this man did. All day in 90-degree heat. He took such pride in his workmanship and he stayed until we were 100% satisfied. So many companies come out and assess the job and give a price and then SUBCONTRACTORS show up to do the work. Not so here. Brian is an Ogburn employee of 18+ plus years. We were SO pleased! If you need concrete work done, this is your company.     After the resealing of our approximately 8-year-old concrete driveway and stamped walkway by Ogburn Construction there were some issues that we, the customers, were not satisfied with. Stephen Ogburn was made aware of these issues and he personally came out to review them. To ensure these issues were taken care of, he also consulted with others in this field and had them come out to review. We finally decided the issues with the driveway (spotting and unevenous looking of the sealant) were something we could live with. The issues with the stamped concrete walkway (strange circles all up and down) we could not live with. This was taken care of by a company specializing in sealant removal, which Mr. Ogburn contracted with. After the circles were removed Mr. Ogburn personally reapplied sealant to the walkway. Mr. Ogburn went to great lengths to satisfyus at no additional charge to us, and we really appreciate his attention to our issues and his efforts to resolve them.

    My experience with this company right from my very first contact with their Customer Care Team/Ariel the Appointment Specialist was extremely professional, polite, pleasant and easy to work with. As was the Operations/Production Specialist/Herbert and Nicole.My next contact with the Design Tech/Marcus was very informative and relaxing...no pushy sales pitches, just straight up honest information. After my free quote I was a bit reluctant with how the resurfacing of my walkways and Driveway would look. Marcus and I stayed in contact as I kept coming up with new questions. I have to say, he went above and beyond including sending comparison pictures to put my concerns at ease and making me feel confident about the work that was going to be done. Each time I reached out to Marcus, he was immediately available to me. There was no telephone tag or days passing to be able to speak with him.The first of a 3 day job to have my Driveway Repaired, Resurfaced and Sealed, I met the first group of the Production Crew. Chris the lead installer was also very professional, personable, knowledgeable and thorough with the work the team had to do. The cleanup after their work was done was excellent.Day 2 of the job I met with Donovan/Lead installer along with Chris W., Troy and Tony. These guys busted butt all day of day 2 & day 3. With the level of the heat and humidity I couldn’t believe how they just kept going all day. It was quite evident they ALL knew their job and worked extremely well together.On day 3 the Vice President/Stephen even joined the crew jumping in and getting his hands dirty...which is not something you see happen very often with construction companies.This is one of the Best experiences I have had with contracting a company to do work on or at my home over the last 25 years. I never had any issues with trying to reach any one of them by phone. They ALWAYS called ahead to give a definite arrival time. All scheduling was right on point.The one thing that absolutely impressed me the most was the way each crew cleaned up any mess that was created that couldn’t be avoided from the work they did each day. I am a very OCD Neat Freak and have been through several bad experiences with contractors in this department. Not only did every crew from Ogburn Construction clean up behind themselves, they were very careful and respectful of my house, lawn, neighbors sprinkler system and all property they had to work near. Several other contractors I’ve hired in the past not only lacked in properly cleaning up behind their completed work, but also managed to damage something.I cannot express or commend enough on the Excellent Work, Complete Professionalism and Respect this Company provides to their customers across the board.     I was suffering severe knee pain, hip pain and back pain. I solicited pricing on a RAMP. During one of the quotes it was called to my attention that my steps were not level. Ogburn provided fair pricing and leveled and sealed my steps. The work done, was neat, clean and perfectly level. I was also given a warranty on the work. These folks are an awesome company. T hey stand behind their work and honor the name of their company by doing so. I appreciate what they have done for me...I am pain free!!! I saved thousands by having to purchase or build a ramp and my house steps are back to looking like they did 50 years ago.     Needed two porches levelled where they had settled and sunk near the house. Ogburn Construction sent an appraiser who did an evaluation and explained what the process would involve. He gave us an estimate on the spot which we accepted. The crew showed up within two weeks and completed the job in one day. Porches look great and water falling on the concrete now flows away from the house as it should. The two man crew that showed up to do the work was very professional and efficient. The estimator completely explained what was going to happen, took measurements and made a diagram of what the work would include.     Ill admit I never heard of Ogburn Construction before I hired them. My wife and I found them at the Home Show last fall. To cut to the chase, Ogburn exceeded the very high expectations they set for themselves when they won the work from a much bigger higher profile company. From the initial sales meeting to the last day of work, the experience could not have been better. Our job was a big one which included providing structural support for the entire very long driveway, leveling several uneven driveway panels and finally power washing and sealing the driveway. Ogburns price came in just under around the price quote of a very large well known company in town. The crew was punctual all 4 days, very professional, personable, and informative answering all of our questions along the way. Most impressive was the work ethic witnessed during 4 very hot days in July, two of which hit 100 degrees. Dave Ogburn, the owner of the family-owned business stopped in unexpectedly on day 2 to check in on the progress and to introduce himself and answer questions. His interest was genuine and his visit much appreciated. Son Taylor, who educated us about the project scope and services and about Ogburn the company, was our first dealing with the company. He was very impressive and the complete opposite of a pushy salesman and he was always available for questions before and after we hired them. Finally, the work quality of the finished product was absolutely perfect. My wife runs her own business and that was one of the factors that weighed into my decision to hire Ogburn over another extremely reputable and well known company in the Richmond area - a company Ive used before for other projects with great satisfaction. It is rare to hire a contractor for a big job and not have any nits, no matter how small, to complain about during the course of the project. But this was that rare case. I give a 100% endorsement of Ogburn Construction to anyone in need of a driveway makeover.

Both Taylor and Stephen have a vast knowledge of the industry and were able to provide solutions to my issues. They explained every step and told me what to expect during the process.     Ogburn Construction did a fantastic job leveling a sidewalk that had dropped about 3”, a set of poured stairs that had dropped about 8”, stabilizing a patio and sealing all cracks and joints. Donovan had equipment issues about 1:30 and apologized that job wasn’t going to be completed in one day. About 4:30 he called to say he had fixed the equipment and would like to finish if that was OK. He came back and spent another couple hours finishing up. I’m really happy with the results and would recommend you contact them if you have issues with concrete.

Taylor was very thorough with the details of their products and services. he first listened to my concerns and raised some concerns of his own that needed attention. it was clear Ogburn was the company to go with even though i received a cheaper quote from another well-rated company. their products and approach appeared to be superior. when i made a change to the original quote, Taylor quickly sent over an addendum for review. on the day of the job, Justus was prompt. the weather was perfect for the job, but his equipment broke, so the job was delayed a couple days. it was an all-day affair, and Justus did it all: cracked concrete repair, removal of wooden joints and replacement with NexusPro sealant, PolyLevel injection to fill voids (no lifting was necessary), and topical concrete protection with SealantPro. thanks for a great job, Ogburn!

    I discovered Ogburn from a mailbox flyer. My problem was an uneven sidewalk panel that created a standing pool of water every time it rained. I scheduled an appt. for a quote on getting the problem corrected. As scheduled, design technician Drew Whitlock made a site visit, evaluated my problem and provided me with recommendations and several quotes for correction. He was extremely courteous and professional in answering all of my questions. As a result, I contracted with Ogburn to do the job. Team A called me 1/2 hour prior to their scheduled arrival time to confirm they were enroute. They arrived at the schedule time and proceeded to get to work. As they worked, they pointed out what they were doing, and inquired several times if I had any questions. Team A was quite efficient and professional with their work. At the conclusion, they ensured that I was satisfied and was able to take payment right on the spot. I cant say enough about how pleased I am with the efficiency and quality of the work by Ogburn Construction from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

    We had our walkway redone about 7 yrs ago with stamped concrete. It was very expensive and I noticed a large crack beginning right in front of the house!I called Ogburn Construction for a consultation.We made an appt and before hand they sent out literature that was very helpful in explaining how the problem could be resolved.On the day of the appt. two very nice gentlemen arrived on time and greeted my husband and I and preceded to explain what they were going to do and how long it would take.Chris and Tyrell both did an excellent job repairing our driveway!!!Tyrell was also very helpful in answeringquestions I didnt get to ask when the salesman came out!I would like to give them both a big shout out!!

    Repair concrete garage floor cracks and sagging due to soil erosion below concrete. Ogburns technicians drilled holes to pump foam material beneath the floor in order to add support to prevent further sagging, and filled all cracks that were found. They did an excellent job, were very courteous, and answered all of my questions. They were also very helpful to another contractor on site for an unrelated project (driveway access is a bit tight for more than one large truck at one time!) I was very satisfied with their work, their professionalism, and the end results.

    Words on a company website dont mean a lot typically. They are marketing what they want their company to be, but the reality does not always align. This couldnt be further from my experience with Ogburn Construction. From the first contact scheduling the estimate, to the estimate, the initial work, and a follow up to correct an issue, the entire organization is professional, responsive, and clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction. The owner has a very clear mission statement, but most importantly, he and the organization actual deliver on that promise. Customer service and delivering excellence are at the core of Ogburn and it shows in every interaction. They were always on time, communicated, and delivered on their promise.Ogburn repaired a aggregate sidewalk that had settled over the past 30 years. We were getting water and erosion where the sidewalk met the brick steps. After the first visit to repair the issue and secondary issue arose where water pooled to about 3/4 inch in an area about 18x30. I was concerned about the safety should water freeze and cause an injury to my family or visitors. I sent pictures for the team to evaluate, which they did very quickly, and they came for a second evaluation. Today they returned and corrected the issue. Again, with every interaction, they listened to my concern, talked through various options and were very honest about the realistic outcomes.I would highly recommend them for any concrete repair. I wish we had more companies that operated with their level of commitment to the customer and delivering exceptional outcomes. Seriously, at least give them a chance to evaluate and estimate any concrete repairs you need.

Jacob presented an excellent proposal, the crew (Brian, Chris and Chris) arrived on time and were careful on the property and worked very efficiently to complete the job. The job leveled a couple concrete sidewalk slabs that had become uneven, stabilized all other sidewalk slabs to prevent them from also becoming uneven, filled the joints between the slabs with flexible material and provided a protective sealant over the entire surface. He coordinated the job and was easy to work with and prompt with responses to questions we had along the way. The location of the garage was a difficult spot to reach due to the layout of the house and lots around the house. But they figured out exactly how to get each step accomplished. It was amazing to see something built from the ground up. The garage is a 2 car garage with a studio space making it essentially the size of a 3 car garage. Electrical, plumbing and communication is in the garage as well. I cannot say enough at how pleased I am with their work.

    I had Stephen Ogburn come out to give me an estimate for leveling an aggregate sidewalk that had cracked and settled. He was the only one of three contractors I interviewed who also pointed out that the walk had settled where it adjoined the brick steps and that this could be considered a tripping hazard. Matt and Chris did the repair work quickly and professionally, and didn’t mind explaining the foam injection process as they worked. The only thing they might have done better was to use small stones instead of sand to coat the crack sealant after the leveling was done. The original crack would have blended in better with the aggregate if they had.

    Recently bought a house with an aggregate driveway. It was in terrible shape. Tree root has popped part of the driveway up and it had cracked and was crumbling ,also had A LOT of cracks.
