We hired Dutchman Innovations (Handy Dutchman at the time) to cover and screen in our back porch. Tucker was the ONLY company to take the time and work with us when the initial quote was not in our budget. We had asked for some materials that were more expensive so Tucker offered other options that would help us reach our goal. The work crew was efficient and respectful while at our house. The job was completed in great time and we couldn’t be happier. We hired them the next year to extend off that porch and build a large wrap around deck for our pool, as well as rebuild a side stoop entrance. Tucker is extremely fair and honest with what can and can’t be done. They are the ONLY contracting business we will continue to work with for home renovations and repairs.

Dutchman Innovations recently completed a bathroom renovation for us. We had new flooring installed, fresh paint and a light fixture replaced. The end results look great! We will definitely call them again for other projects. Thanks Tucker and crew!

Tucker Slater and his team at Dutchman Innovations gets a 5-star rating from us! They’ve done numerous small jobs in the past but recently helped with a total renovation to our 3rd floor space. They repaired cracks in the plaster, painted, and built a closet, a chalk wall with wood border, bookcases and reading nooks for our dormers complete with cabinet drawers. Nothing in this house is standard measurement so everything had to be custom built. I want to give special shoutouts to Sara, Rachel, Jonathan and Jason, and of course Tucker too! We are impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to making sure we were satisfied with the results. Whatever your project needs are, Dutchman Innovations can probably do the job!!

We just had a wonderful experience with Dutchman Innovations. They converted the cathedral ceiling over our dining room into a fourth bedroom. Tuckers team is knowledgeable, communicative and polite, and does quality work at a reasonable price. My dad is a licensed contractor in NC. He Facetimed me every night to walk him through the build to make sure they were doing everything up to code. The highest compliment I can give is that they got a very protective dad/perfectionist builders stamp of approval!

Dutchman Innovations did a fantastic job replacing rotted wood under gutters on our home. Professional teamwork. I highly recommend them to any h9me owner looking for tip notch professional remodelers.
