    We are so impressed with the professionalism of this company. It was 32 degrees outside, our heat wasn’t working, on a Sunday.     We had some lights out in our house, Butch showed up on time and patiently went through our electrical box and did a trouble shoot. Butch explained every step to me so I understood what he was doing. He fixed out outside lights and even installed a fan that we had. We had an issue with our electrical and Chuck, the General Manager, personally visited the house first thing in the morning to diagnose and fix the issue.     Terrific family owned company!! They are honest, fair, and reliable. Was having some HVAC issues, and another company came and told me I needed a whole new HVAC system. I reached out to Coastal Services and they came and replaced a $225 part, and now my HVAC works perfectly! It is so nice to know that there are still trustworthy companies out there. They could have ripped me off but they didn’t. I will never use anyone else. The entire process was stress-free and top notch! I will never go anywhere else for my needs!

    I came down to the beach for the holiday weekend only to find that at some point I lost power. I had no hot water, rotten food in refrigerator/freezer. It was July 3rd at 4:00 in OCMD. I couldn’t imagine I’d find someone to come but I tried anyway. I put a call into Coastal Services and I received a call back right away. I was very upset as my husband had recently passed and I had no idea where to begin to look for the issue. The general manager called me back and was so calming and assured me he would be there to help. Honestly, it was like an Angel was sent. That may sound corny but it was true. He found the issue, explained what needed to be done. He got everything up and running. I can’t thank Coastal or the General Manager enough for being there that day. Even the woman who called me back was extremely nice and understanding. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC or electrical needs. They will forever be my go to electrical contractor for any needs that arise.

    Coastal Services LLC has done a great jobs on a variety of projects at our Sea Colony West property. This included AC replacement, ceiling repair, water heater installation and kitchen faucet replacement. Michael Jones, the plumber, in particular was very conscientious, quality oriented and professional..When the AC installed did not work properly over a July 4th Holiday with family in town, it was hotter indoors than out. I called after-hours and as it turns out, the owner himself came in to correct the wiring and got AC working. We were grateful!4 stars instead of 5 is due to a relatively high cost and occasionally they do not get all perfectly the first time, but are always been willing to come back and get things right.I would highly recommend Coastal Services LLC for a multitude of home improvement projects!

    We came home from vacation to find electricity out in half the house, water heaters blown, basically a disaster. After calling Coastal Services the next morning, Brent came over within a couple hours and went receptacle to receptacle to find the problem. He installed surge protectors immediately on our main boxes so we will never experience this problem again. He was very professional and truly cared to try to find and fix the problem. All problems resolved and fixed within 24 hours. I think thats great service!

    Just had Mark and trainee Noah here for our annual A/C springtime checkup, and professional and personable best describe their visit! They arrived within the two-hour window—I appreciated the fact that the office called an hour into the window to confirm things were still on track!—and soon set straight to work. Mark checked things out completely all the while showing Noah the proper order and procedures. A thorough coil cleaning, line pressure checks, thermometer confirmation that the floor vents were producing sufficiently cold air, and a final tighten-up of exterior cabinet screws to eliminate rattles completed the service call. From the shoe cover-ups inside my home to the final crawlspace check it was a job well done. Noah is a lucky trainee and Im a happy customer. Thanks! JPZ

    We had a weird experience with a broken smokedetector!! It was beeping so I took it down and took out the battery. It kept chirping all night!!I put it outside but the chirping continued!! Jeremy arrived and was blown away! He had never experienced anything like it. It’s the only detector in the house. He went into every room, looked in every closet, went up in the attic and tried to trace wires to see what he could find.Lo and behold there was a water leak detector behind the boiler in a closet right beside the detector and its battery was dead and THAT WAS WHAT WAS CHIRPING!We laughed and laughed! Jeremy installed the new detector in 5 minutes and left! Great young man!

    Wonderful customer service experience. FYI, this was not a plumbing emergency. Outdoor shower control valves froze during the winter and were discovered when I turned the water back on Monday at noon. I called Coastal and got an immediate call back. We scheduled the service visit for Tuesday morning. The Next Day! Chris arrived early, replaced the two damaged control valves, and left for his next job before noon. Twenty four hours from first call to completed job. I cant imagine how quickly they respond to an emergency. Unbelievable!

    The event to follow was for our summer home at the Eastern shore of Md.After finding out that one of our 22 yr old compressors was low on freon, we called a company for service, then we found out the bad news. Our compressors were not compatable with todays refrigerants. At that point we knew system replacement would be necessary. We decided to be smart and replace both systems, not just the compressors. We did some shopping around and Coastal Services was one of the companies contacted. The owner, Pat arrived in 1 hour to survey the systems. About 2 hours later he responded on email with the quote for the replacement of both systems. Much to our delight the number was MUCH better then others. We accepted the quote and he informed us the work would start in 3 days. The team arrived on the day stated earlier. The lead tech was Brandon, accompanied by another Brandon and Matt.The weather at this time was raging in the 90s, so working was a sweaty event, especially in the attic. All the old system components and hardware was removed. The interior air handlers were original to the house, 40 yrs old. The lead man, Brandon had many obstacles to deal with, but he and the team made all the right decisions, focused on details, made adjustments as necessary etc. True professionals!Coastal Services is at the top of our list for home services across the board. Thank you everyone!

    Coastal Services did an excellent job in renovating our condo at Sea Colony. The work included a full makeover of the kitchen and two bathrooms and the installation of a two new external sliding doors. The cost was competitive, and the work was done on time and consistent with the estimates. When we had an unexpected change in the project manager, the owner stepped in himself to ensure that the project was completed on time and to a high standard. The Coastal Services team was great to work with; they were very responsive to our many questions and to the changes we requested during the renovation process.     Absolutely wonderful experience! I called on Sunday and left a message for a clogged kitchen sink, with the assumption of receiving a call on Monday when they reopened. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call back from Maddie within an hour. She was very helpful - she offered me an emergency appointment or an appointment Monday afternoon, quoting me the cost for both. I opted for the Monday appointment.     This is our first experience with Coastal Services and I am very impressed. They performed some carpentry work and built some shelves for us in our kitchen which perfectly blend with the existing cabinets so that they look they were there all along.     House was experiencing flickering lights for the last several years and I felt the time had come to make sure a larger issue didnt exist. I always thought the issue was being caused by something outside the houses electric panel. Coastal Services sent Keith to troubleshoot the issue. He did a very thorough job of analyzing the house electrical panel and the circuits that were exhibiting the flickering. He then went to the back of the house where the main feed is located and determined that the issue was due to the incoming neutral line issue. Actually the issue was occurring in my neighbors box, where we share the incoming feed. Keith also noticed heat was being generated on the outside of the box, indicating a loose connection and possible issue with the neutral side on one of the phases. Keith stayed onsite with Delmarva power to ensure the issue didnt lie with the line at the street. Keith tightened all the connections in both boxes, turned the power back on and my flickering stopped. As an added bonus the heat on the exterior of the box also ceased to exist, indicating the lines were operating properly. Coastal Services provided a quick appointment turnaround and a professional electrician that solved an issue that had been ongoing for quite sometime. He was able to diagnose and remedy the situation quickly. Kudos too Coastal Services!

    Smitty, the service technician, was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable! Have had an a/c problem (not holding a charge) since we bought our mobile home 3 years ago. Have had 2 other technicians look at the unit, charge it and leave. Smitty found the problem in about an hour. 2 cracked connectors that were over tightened at installation!Thanks again Smitty!!     We called Coastal to install a light in our pantry. It required running a wire for the installation. The gentleman who came was very knowledgeable and professional. He had to drill through a hidden wall to run the wire; and after he completed the installation, he cleaned everything up. This may not have been a large project zip but it was too big for us. They also ran wires once in our crawlspace and through the floor to install electric to a floor outlet and island outlets. We will definitely use them again.

    I had a water leak from a Bidet. I called Coastal Services on weekend and got a fast response from George , the owner, to schedule a repair appointment on Monday.     We had a main water line leak. Of course over the weekend. Coastal responded almost immediately and had someone fix the leak in a very timely manner and this was not an easy job being underneath the house in a small crawlspace soaked with water and debris.     I got to our beach condo to ready it for the season and found the air conditioning not working. When I bought the house there was a folder with contractors the prior owner had used, and Coastals number was in the folder. I called them and someone came out within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem, advised I may need a new part and a different technician because we apparently have a very good, high tech thermostat. I had to go home, so I called and made an appointment for the following week. The tech who came, Smitty was professional, nice, and got the job done. In addition he explained a few things to me that could help avoid future problems. Overall the service was excellent, and I will certainly use them whenever needed.

    My appointment was within a week of calling for service on my HVAC. Smitty was my serviceman and I am so grateful for his professionalism and attention to detail. I had almost given up believing that people still do their jobs. Smitty restored my belief in 1 visit. He is detail oriented and I am convinced he saved my life today! He removed a filter that had been jammed in improperly for 3 years and it looked like charcoal. There was also an owners manual enclosed in plastic that could have fanned any flame.     We have been using Coastal Services for 4 years to help take care of our Bethany beach house repairs and plumbing needs. During a week when we are reeling from stock market collapse to a deadly virus, I need to shout from the rooftops about the amazing service we got yesterday when we received a call from a town official that streams of water were pouring out from under the crawl space of our house. I called Coastal from the DC area where we live, and literally within 3 minutes, an out of breath plumber named Adam was at my house carrying out emergency water pumping, shutting off valves, and calling us with updates. He pumped the water out, was able to pinpoint the source of the leak in the water main supply line, and had it fixed lickety split. He left the pump running over night and called the next morning with an update, turned on the hot water for us so that we when arrive tomorrow all will be normal. Whew. I am incredibly grateful for their amazing service, the follow up and the great people. Please use them for your coastal area repair and plumbing needs!

    Highly recommend Coastal Services. They power-washed our 4-story townhome this week, the decks look beautiful. Dave showed up exactly on time, ready to go. We have a total of 5 decks, one is a screen porch, accessible only thru the house. Whenever Dave had to come into the house, he took off his boots, put all his equipment into plastic bags, so no dripping in the house. Very efficient and professional.     A Deldot truck ripped down the wire that goes directly to my house on a Friday night, just before a major snowstorm. It did a ton of damage, including ripping all wiring off the house, and ripping the electric meter off the house. Butch came on an emergency call that night, and when he could get supplies, spent two full days restoring power. Forrest came that Saturday morning to winterize the house, as the temps were well below freezing. As soon as Butch worked his magic, Forrest was there to dewinterize the house. Both were extremely helpful and went the extra mile for me. These guys care about their customers and are true professionals. Thank you guys, you are great!
