    Super thrilled with Ron and his team for creating such a beautiful kitchen. We had a terribly outdated kitchen and Ron really helped with me with the design and all the functions of the new kitchen!. We couldnt be happier, his crew was super nice and polite and they always cleaned up after themselves. Even during Covid and some re-plumbing issues the schedule moved right along. I would totally recommend this group they are reasonable, responsible, trustworthy, listen to all your needs and come up with great solutions.

    We hired Baronger to do a full addition to our 1920’s home, which includes a kitchen, full primary suite, 4 new bathrooms, deck, and full refurbishment (and waterproofing) of our basement. There were many other smaller projects included in our remodel, too. Working with Mitch and his team was straightforward and easy; the work was done well and on time. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire process and felt we were met with honesty and integrity. The quality of the work met and often exceeded our expectations. We have been enjoying our home from the moment we moved back in!

    I cant say enough wonderful things about Baronger Group. I used them to complete a gut/rehab on my 100-year old Chicago bungalow. Our project included a kitchen and bathroom (2) update, removing a wall, refinishing floors, insulating walls, updating the attic, painting, carpet, installing lights...the works. This was an extensive project!! The work was impeccable, the project was completed on time and on budget. The team was amazing, timely and trustworthy. Since my family lived in the house during the construction, the personalities of the workers was extremely important. I never had any issues and if given a choice, I would pick Baronger Group again and again. My project was an outstanding experience and I am happily living in my updated home. Baronger Group is responsive and they lead with integrity. They stand by their work and I can rest easy knowing that my house will last for years to come.

    We have used many contractors over the years. In 2018 we used Baronger Group for our exterior shaker shingle. Not only did they do the most beautiful job on budget but they had excellent advise on changing the color to really enhance the look of our home! In 2020 we needed a bathroom remodel and after visiting the beautiful showroom I was hooked! Ron helped me pick from a beautiful selection of tile, fixtures snd cabinetry. The bathroom turned out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier. The workers were professional and timely. I would use and recommend Baronger Group again! #5stars

    I hired Baronger Group to design-build a mudroom addition onto the back of my kitchen, within the footprint of my large back deck. It was not an easy project due to the logistics but they did a fantastic job with zero change orders. Baronger met the schedule and the few punchlist items were completed promptly. The pricing provided up front was detailed, transparent and easy to understand.I am a commercial general contractor with very high expectations and was impressed by Barongers ability to make me happy. The owner, Mitch, is a great guy who wants happy customers and will do whatever it takes to make it happen!

    Baronger Group did a wonderful job remodelling my kitchen. The choices I had were amazing and every detail was discussed with me thoroughly. The final product exceeded my expectations. Workers were timely, worked neatly and were very responsive. I would user Group again.

    My wife and I first met Mitch in early 2018 to view a property in Oak Park he was about to start work on. The property had great potential, but we ultimately passed on it. Half a year later, Mitch acquired another project home and contacted us before listing it to see if we were interested. A year later Mitch and his team turned a 130+ year Blair Witch home into our dream home!I could write page after page about how great it was to work with the Baronger and Oak Park Kitchen & Bath teams, but to sum it up, they act with integrity, are responsive, and take pride in the quality of their work. This is the fourth new construction home I have purchased, and the first complete overhaul. I have worked with many competent developers, but none can come close to matching Mitch. The attached photos are a small sample of the amazing work his team performed.With respect to integrity, there were at least two occasions where Mitch provided a quote, only to wind up spending more due to complexities and/or inaccurate quotes provided by his subs. Rather than come back to me asking for additional monies, he kept to his commitment and didnt seek additional funds. He also could have charged me for items that I honestly expected were going to be upgrades, but was honest in telling me that he had already planned to include those items in the original price of the home. Sure these were small $200-$300 items, but I suspect many builders would try to sneak these things in to unsuspecting clients given how much they are already spending. Mitch also keeps his word. Despite the magnitude of the project and various issues that were encountered, he managed to come within ONE week of the projected completion date, nine months after he broke ground. This in itself is amazing. Mitchs slogan should be the line used in the movie Jerry Maguire: What you do have is my word, and its stronger than oak.With respect to responsiveness, I think I communicated more with Mitch than I did with my wife during the nine month project. Mitch and Ron were always available. I dont think any email or text message to them went more than a day unanswered. Most questions or concerns I had were responded to within hours. On the flip side, Mitch and Ron always kept me abreast of what was going on, sending me progress photos and contacting me on minor details that they thought I would be interested in weighing in on. They could have easily defaulted to their standard decisions on a build, but they always took the extra step to consider what I may want and called before finalizing any plans. It cracks me up thinking about how much time Mitch and Ron would challenge one another on small things like trim pieces, newel posts, and the design and placement of items that others may deem insignificant; but to me I really appreciated this attention to detail because it demonstrated to me the thoughtfulness they have for each of their clients, as if they were building their own home. This leads me into pride in work.Having worked with Mitch for nearly a year on the project, nothing is more evident than attention to detail and pride of work. If a problem was identified, Mitch never hesitated to make it right. The greatest example of this was when we encountered an issue with the existing foundation. The original foundations walls were double the width than what was expected, which resulted in us having to make edits to the proposed floor plans. Mitch worked tirelessly with me and his architect to find a win-win solution. After a couple of weeks of collaboration, we landed on a plan that in the end resulted in an improved layout.Another great thing with Baronger is that they have their own kitchen and bath design showroom. The local showroom made it easy to view and select cabinets and various finishes. Working with and bouncing ideas off the in-house designer was fantastic.In the end, we are thrilled with the work Mitch and team did for our family and will not hesitate in recommending them to family and friends.

    The experience was great! Built a new garage and before they tore down the old they gave me enough time to move what I wanted into the new garage. They help solve the flooding issue of the back yard and poured a new driveway. Very happy with the results.

    Baronger Group did a full kitchen gut remodel and a makeover of a powder room. From start to finish it was as smooth as a project of that size can be. We appreciated the design services that helped us bring all of our ideas to life - not particularly easy for 2 designed challenged people, but with their guidance we ended up with a beautiful end result. The initial budget and timeline were managed well, and in the end, we came in on budget and a few days under time. The work and the materials were high quality and we couldnt be happier with the end result.I have also had them work on much less sexy projects as rebuilding a crumbling chimney and again they did a great job.
