    Island Electric does the annual preventative maintenance on our generator- very thorough and professional. During a recent windstorm and power outage the generator was not functioning. A call to Island Electric and they responded quickly. They were able troubleshoot and identify the issue. Great work and good people. Very dependable!

    I love it when a team of local craftsmen completes a skilled job! Island Electric installed Infratech heaters in our front porch this week. Running the 65 amp main line from the basement up one flight and then running the control lines out to the porch took a bit more time than we thought, but the team of Chris, Jake, et al kept at it and did a magnificent job! On time, cleaned up, on budget - I will use them again!If you need professional electricians, call Island Electric.

    Super Satisfied....We needed additional outlets in our garage and wanted to hide wires on our wall mounted TV. The work and price estimate were explained. Prices were fair. They brought out a team of 4 electricians, they were all experienced professionals and did the work flawlessly. They were very friendly and cleaned after themselves. This is the second time were used Island Electric, the previous install was a generator hook up.

    I called Island Electric after losing power to a few circuits in my new house and Jeff was able to see a couple of photos of my circuit and noticed that there were cables going to a generator box that had gotten flipped. I was expecting to be waiting days with other electricians, but Jeff was able to fix my problem over the phone in minutes. Amazing help, amazing service. I will definitely be coming back to Island Electric in the future!

    We were very pleased with the work performed for us by Island Electric. We had lost power to our septic pump and did not know where the underground electrical connection fed into the house system. They responded quickly to our call for service, traced the problem, found the broken connection and repaired it. I would not hesitate to contact them for future electrical work.

    Island Electric came to my rescue. I had a kitchen light fixture that needed to be checked to see if it was still working after my roof leaked through my ceiling and into my light fixture and to have it reconnected. I also had a kitchen GFI outlet that needed to be re-connected correctly. Both the light fixtures and outlet are working perfectly now.When I called the office to schedule for an electrician to come out, they instead were able to send someone right away.I have always had excellent experiences with Island Electric and highly recommend them.

    Jeff and the rest of Island Electric have been taking caring of our house in Freeland for several years now and its been first rate service. They have installed a Generac whole house generator system, pulled a new circuit for our heat pump installation, replaced much of our interior lighting with ceiling LED fixtures, and so on. The prices are competitive the workmanship is good, and Jeff is an honest man. Highly recommended.

    Great experience working with Island Electric. They responded quickly to my call. Jake who came out was very knowledgeable and helpful, he gave me a quote on the spot and worked with PSE to get the power turn off so he could replace my meter box. They handled everything.

    Once again Island Electric comes through!! Thought the new generator had an issue but they determined there was no power to our pump house. Jake came after hours, in the dark and rain, found a break in the power line, fixed the break, dealt with PSE to restore power. Rare to find people that provide this level of service.     Very professional work by two seasoned electricians who found the cause of a major interior electrical outage and fixed it, as well as installing 2 outlets in less than two hours. Their job looks great and everything works fine.

    They do it all! I had power run from my house to my shop and they did it all. They wired the shop, dug the trench, coordinated with PSE, all of it. They showed up with an army of electricians and knocked it out in record time. They were responsive and returned my phone calls, which seems to be premium these days. Jake and the crew showed up early and were very professional. They are now my go to crew for anything electric. Keep up the good work!

    Shout out to Island Electric and Sign. They took my calls multiple times in the same day, contacted the power company on my behalf (after I tried with no success), and didnt charge me for the assistance. IE clearly values integrity and customer service above profit and if I need assistance again that cant be resolved by the power company, I wouldnt hesitate to contact them again.

    These people installed our generator here on Whidbey Island. We highly recommend them since they are reliable and did a brilliant job of setting ours up. They continue to maintain it and have stayed totally responsive to any concerns or questions we have had.Also they are always available when you need help.     This company is really great. Their phones are answered by a real person. It sure makes explaining the problem a whole lot better. They immediately gave me the date when they would come to my house to identify the problem and give me an estimate. The cost was very reasonable so I agreed to have them work. They even scheduled the work during that visit. Talk about service.Two electricians came to my home timely to do the work. They commented on how clean my house was and promised to leave it in the same condition. And they did. They were very efficient and very pleasant. After all these years, including a complete remodel, I finally found the only electricians I will ever use.

    A lot of good things came together for our household when we had Island Electric take care of a vexing problem: our old fluorescents were malfunctioning because, after 20+ years, their ballasts had gone bad. Island Electric came. They assessed. And they FIXED! Plus...they were friendly and efficient in the process! Now our fluorescents are ballast-free, their innards having been replaced by the new, non-ballast technology...and each of them now works fabulously!
