    What a team of hard workers! Joseph sat with me for an hour to work up a plan, Brain S. and his team did amazing with the installation! Knocked it out in 3 days and kept the entire work area nice and clean! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a healthier home!

    JES installed my sump pump in October 2023. Today (9/25/24) was my annual maintenance appointment to be sure that everything was working well with it. My technician, Ben, contacted me on 9/24/24 to check in with me on any possible issues that he needed to be made aware of prior to my appointment as well as to confirm my appointment. Very professional and polite. Fast forward to the appointment, Ben arrived on time, once again was very professional. I showed him where it was installed so he could get to work. Unbeknownst to both Ben and I, well there was no power going to the sump pump. That was as easy as flipping a switch on the breaker box. Then, Ben noticed a leak in the piping that was installed when the sump pump was installed. Ben ended up having to cut my drywall in which JES will incur the cost to repair it back. But this was nothing he couldn’t handle although he did have to make an unexpected run to Home Depot/Lowes to get the tool needed to cut the pipe. Ben returned in a decent amount of time and got right to work. Ben repaired the pipe, cleaned the sump pump bucket, and ensured everything was working correctly. Towards the end of the appointment, Ben made a few recommendations and ending up finding out that the piping that is coming out of the from of my house that pushes the water out was installed incorrectly and was not was I paid for. Therefore, Ben made a call to his supervisor, Megan Hartman, to put her on notice about this issue as well. Ben assured me that someone from the service department would reach out to me to schedule repairs for the piping outside as well as the wall repair. Overall, I would give Ben a 10/10 and would highly recommend him as your service tech. He made sure to answer any questions I had to the best of his ability, remain professional, kept me informed throughout the whole appt, valued me as a paying customer, and advised me that if I had any further questions after this appt that I shouldn’t hesitate to reach out to him. Ben was AWESOME‼️Note: Pics are from the installation back in October 2023.

    The team,of Gaston Ellis, Thomas Jackson, and Derek Trask were a delight to get to know and experience their expert talent of work. They worked tirelessly over the course of 3 days to take equipment and supplies to a basement with no outside entrance. They kept my house as free as possible from dust and debris. I would give them a 10+++ if possible.

    The front end service dealing with the office wasn’t a good one as they dropped the ball getting the permit. However, the guys that came out for installation were wonderful! Showed up on time, they were very polite and professional and did an excellent job!I’ve never had a sump pump and they took the time to clearly explain and answer all my questions!! Very pleased with the installation side of things. 5 stars to the installers!!

    The cellar well drain was installed today by Darrell M. and Ricky J. They were both very polite and professional and explained in detail how they were installing the new drain. Excellent work and I would definitely recommend them!!!

    JES sent Marcelo Flores to do the initial inspection and he helped me understand everything I needed to do to make the solution successful. Marcelo even responded to text messages when I had questions later. The installation was done only a few weeks later by Quintin Holthaus, Damien Files, Dante McKenzie, and Eric Townes. These gentlemen discovered that my footer was an unexpected size and they went above and beyond to adapt to this. They were also very positive and polite at all times. They worked well together as a team. I am very impressed with JES and highly recommend them to anyone!

    I highly recommend this company. I have a 120 year old home that had a severely compromised wood foundation beam in the crawl space as well as major flooding issues. The work they provide is stellar and knowing the work is covered for life by a trusted, backed and well known company is beyond reassuring and worth the higher price tag. Especially for something as important as foundational work. The foreman, Aden, blew me away with his professionalism, respect, communication, knowledge and skills. His crew followed suit.They also went the extra mile and helped me connect my downspouts to the buried sump pump discharge pipe creating a more effective and seamless system.Additionally, we hit a few logistical errors due to some miscommunication with the sales rep. Both the production and general managers came out, listened to my concerns and appreciated what I had to say. They worked with me, then went above and beyond to rectify the issues and make up for any inconvenience.All said and done, I can rest easy knowing I trusted JES to shore up my home.

    My 97 year old basement finally gave in to extended periods of rain, as the house did not have a footer, which was news to me! David, my site Inspector was thorough, and provided detailed options. Foreman John, his crew of James, and Desmond, were on time, efficient, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be around during the entire the day. The job was completed in one day, without a single issue. Well worth the investment, after too many hours the last few months cleaning up water intrusion. No more! Highly recommend JES.

    Very appreciate of the work done to solve water issues in my basement. Antoine Gant, Gerald Peoples, and Troy Griffin did a phenomenal job installing a drainage system and pump. Along with the installation work, they also helped clear all the sandbags away from the work area. I’m thankful for their willingness to go above and beyond the scope of the job. It was a huge help. They were tidy, patient, and open to answering any questions I had. After they were done they gave me very specific instructions on how to manage the work area. No complaints at all about the work these gentleman did in my home! Blessings.

    UPDATED REVIEW:My review of JES has gone from one star to 5 stars because of the way they took a negative experience I had with them and turned it into one of the most positive Ive had with any home improvement company Ive ever done business with!Ill start by saying Megan and Bryce are THE BEST!!! These two went above and beyond to ensure that the difficulties I experienced were made right. As soon as Bryce became aware of my issues, he reached out, listened, and offered the most sincere apologies for what I had gone through. He let me know that this wasn’t typical of the JES customer experience and offered to stop by to discuss it in person. I agreed...after all, the reason why I chose this company in the first place is because of all the great on-line reviews, so I wanted to hear him out...at the very least we could come to some sort of billing agreement so I could move forward with another company, right? When he (and Megan) got to my house I wasnt even home, I had another appointment that ran over, so I figured I blew my opportunity to be heard...and I couldnt even fault him if he blew me off after that. But he said he would come back...AND HE DID!!!When they came back I was expecting a whole lot of who shot John, but what I got was 2 people who expressed empathy with what I went through. They listened, offered their sincerest apologies, fixed what they could (the sump pump), and helped me understand why I was experiencing some of the things I was (bad odor from the sump pump hole). They even offered up suggestions on how I could fix some of the other issues that were outside of their scope...which let me know it wasnt all about them making money...they genuinely wanted to help me.On top of all that..they did something I didnt think even happened anymore, THEY TOOK ACCOUNTABILITY ON BEHALF OF JES!!! When they did that I felt 1000% comfortable picking up where I left off and completing the job with them. And let me tell you...these two are so thorough...they even did another walk though to see the cracks that started all this in the first place...and ended up tweaking the plan so that I can get the best results.So now, I look forward to finishing this project with JES...and working with them on new ones in the future. :O)STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!

    What a team of hard workers! Bruce C. sat with us for a couple hours to work up a plan and explain the process, Antoine G. and his team Gearld P., Troy G., and Kevin P. were amazing with the installation inside and out!     Daquan A. and Davin G. showed up at the house on time as promised and did a fantastic job repairing our driveway and lifting it up to make it easier to drive into the garage. They also did a little extra work to complement their already awesome work in lifting the steps to the front patio and meshing in the other half of the driveway for the other garage. They were done in 1.5 hours and were on to the next job. I would recommend JES to anyone requiring the services they offer. Very professional group. Great job!

    A lot of companies do good work, JES certainly does. Thats not what earned this 5 star review though. When unforeseen issues came up on our job they stepped up and got it done right! Theyve earned my trust and will be the first company I call if I ever need their services again, but not on my current property because they did such a great job they wont ever have to come back! Thanks JES, you guys were great!

    Joe A. and his team crushed our crawlspace encapsulation. They came out the start day and walked the job site with me and put my mind at ease. Joe worked late the first day to make sure the job got done but had to return to install a pump to the dehumidifier. They did it this morning which took them no time. I would recommend JES and Joe’s team to anyone in need of waterproofing or encapsulation.

Brian kept me informed of the process, where the trouble was in my basement and what they were doing to do.     I would recommend JES Foundation Repair. Right from the start, I enjoyed working with Elizabeth in the planning of my project. She checked in throughout the entire process. Going in to the project, we knew it was a big project. However we ran into a few unforeseen difficulties, Dada, Cody and Pepe did a great job in communicating with me about the status of our project multiple times a day. While it took a little longer than anticipated, I am just so happy knowing my home is safe from the water that has been damaging my house.

    Santos and his crew Corey, Lucas, Bernard, And Jesse are very hard workers. We had great communication and they are very respectful. There was a lot of hand digging throughout the project through heavy clay and they knocked it out relentlessly. I would also like to commend Daquan A. and Kavon C. for the great job they did on the concrete lift.

    JES is five star. Our Marina had a waterfront building with foundation issues. JES install push piles. After a year, it was decided the foundation needed more support and JES made it right! The real judge of a service provider like JES is their follow up and continuing customer service. Five star!

    Had JES come out and install a box drain. Darrell M. The job supervisor called me early that morning to let me know what time he was coming. He greeted me and introduced himself and his crew, Ricky J. And Allen B. He told me what he was going to do and asked if I was ok with what he was going to do. They got right to work. When they were finished, he knocked on the door and showed me what hed done. The job was done beautifully, and the clean-up was too. Im very pleased with the work. And would use them again

    Never good when your basement leaks, but JES was top notch from the time Marcelo stepped through our door with the free estimate until Gerald P, Troy G, and Kevin P finished the job and cleaned everything up. I had a few other estimates but Marcelo gave me an option no one else even me. Saved me thousands! I would highly recommend JES when you are looking for foundation repair.

    Our journey with JES started with David Krump our salesman. He explained things with great detail and took time to explain everything we asked. Then the crew showed up and it was nothing but friendliness, knowledge, a meticulous job and just wonderful people to work with. The foreman Larry was very very efficient and hard working. His crew, Sherman, and Antoine as well as Larry were the hardest working people I have ever met, carrying those 5 gallon buckets of concrete up to their truck was no easy task. Besides a few quirks in scheduling and placement of the sump pump all went smoothly . I would truly recommend the whole company and especially the crew!!

    David Gaskins / Brad Sevison / Tyquan Timmons were part of the crew that ensured my crawl space is waterproofed properly. They were an outstanding crew from start to finish! They were pleasant and worked well as a team! It was apparent the leadership that Mr. Gasksins demonstrated on this job helped not only the crew to execute and fulfill the job exceptionally, but it also helped instill confidence in the young technician (Tyquan Timmons) that just started the job with the company. Mr. Gaskins created a work environment that created trust and partnership with his team mates. I was impressed; customer service was impeccable as well! Brad Sevision went above and beyond by volunteering to take some miscellaneous items that were discovered in the crawl space to the dumpster on my behalf, saving me precious time and effort that was needed at the time on my employment.Glad to have folks care so much about the quality of work they perform!     What a fantastic job the office personnel and work crew at JES Foundation Repair did! I truly couldnt be happier!I had called out several companies to provide an initial estimate and although JES was not the cheapest (keep in mind that you get what you pay for), they did provide the solutions that I was looking for, their helical piers and the intelli-jack system. The two solutions were exactly what I needed to correct and prevent further foundation problems from occurring in the future and the crew managed to get all the work completed in 5 days!On the day one, Richard J. and crew came out to start digging the necessary footers under my crawlspace for the two intelli-jacks. Per my counties requirements, we had to wait for an inspector to come out and give them the thumbs-up before they could proceed any further.On days two - five, Arjan, Brandon , and Marlo came to dig the five holes needed for the helical pier systems. This consisted of them digging to below the footer of my foundation wall in order to get the support shelf that attaches to the pier, having another county inspector validate the work being done, putting aggregate and cement into the holes in my crawlspace and installing the piers and intelli-jacks.I dont like to micro-manage people doing work and I informed they that I was just a very curious homeowner and asked if them minded if I watched. They were more than happy to have me come out and ask questions and document for my own purposes.A+ for service and professionalism!

    What started off a little shaky tourers into a very satisfying experience. I’ve said many times I actually like when a company makes a mistake it gives me the opportunity to see how they handle themselves. Do they run and hide denying any wrongdoing or do they do exactly what JES and company do, own the mistakes. In this case it was just bad communication from a field supervisor that started the problem. What happens next was just pure perfection. From the top down I received calls not only with an apology but the tell us what we can do to make it right attainable. The crew that came out could not have been a better team of men. Santos told me their mantra is “as good as you would want it at your home, do it even better”. Who are these guys and how do I hire people like this? I’ve referred JES many times in the past and have always had amazing results and now that we’ve used them at our home I’m an even bigger fan. Nobody want to have a foundation issue but if you do this is the call to make. Heck even my dog liked the guys.

    I want to thank JES Foundation Repair for the great job that they did in leveling the steps and walkway at my home. Damien Files and Kavon Cunningham were my onsite technicians. They were friendly, professional and answered all my questions. They made sure that the front steps were properly leveled, that all voids under the pavement were filled and inserted backer rods and caulk between the stoop and the first step. They also left the job site neat and clean. I couldnt be happier with the finished product. Your company is very fortunate to have technicians this good on your team. Thank you!

    The original downspout drainage system around our house was inadequate resulting in wet areas all around the basement. Colin Hall came out, did a thorough review and prepared a professional and detailed CAD drawing of his recommendation for reworking the system. The crew of Diego Rodriguez, Sergio Aniya and Dumien Files (apologies for any misspellings) were about the hardest working bunch of guys I have ever seen. There were courteous and upbeat the entire time. And they were creative as well in making on-site modifications to the plan as needed to insure proper drainage. I would not hesitate to recommend JES Foundation Repair.

    JES did a great job on my cellar basement in Canton Baltimore. It was built in 1913 so had lots of tricky brick and old wood work to be supported and repaired. Now my house feels sturdy and doesnt shake when busses drive by, or my boyfriend bumps into stuff 🤣 Waterproofing looks very professional and so much better than the previous old french drain that was full of sand and debris. Big shout put to Cody C, Tyler H, Brandan W, Quintin H, and Damieon F for being a sharp team and great all around guys who were eager to work hard and answer all my questions. I trust them and this company, highly recommend.

When Corey told me I would not even be able to tell anything had been done to my yard he wasn’t kidding, he knows his stuff. And Larry the crew leader, his 18+ yrs of experience showed in everything he did and said- I was sent an A1 team.My estimator Jason G.     I had a basement gutter system installed by Larry R., Isaiah M. and Moe U. This tream of gentlemen were very polite and efficient. The noise level was less than expected and dust genertation in my basement was very low. They sought me to show their progress of different stages of the install process. They even patched an extra floor crack which was not in the wall job. The concrete work was smoooth and professional and they restored the outside digging to the point of near invisiblity. These guys know what they are doing. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend.

    We had a sidewalk slab shift in front of our concrete entrance steps and pulled the step railing out of the porch railing. JES provided a very reasonable estimate and two weeks later JES technicians, Kavon C. and Damien F. arrived to the house a bit early and moved the sidewalk right back in place along with the porch railing….! Both JES techs were polite, professional and very knowledgeable regarding JES’ foam injection technology. I will definitely be contacting JES in the future for additional work.     I would recommend this company. Last year 2/23 I called JES for concerns with water in my basement. The sales rep Mike Stehman seemed trustworthy and I placed my trust in him. The crew came out a few months later to do the water proofing and at that time seemed to be a great job. This year in January I started experiencing some water in the basement again. A technician came out wiped up the water and taped up some of the wall wrap. April 24 a few months later more water in the basement from the heavy rain. I called and service came out and made a suggestion that I repair an additional part of the basement. As of today I must say I’m very impressed and happy with how JES, Megan Hartman and the GM handle my concerns. They service team came out quickly and took care of the area of concern. Megan and the GM was very attentive to my needs and concerns and the GM made sure I was satisfied and happy with the end results. I am proud to have chosen a company that stands behind their work.

    The work JES did in our basement was to install an interior French drain and sump pump. Overall the work was done well, and the crew was friendly. There was was still a small amount of water coming in after the initial work was done, and trying to get ahold of someone to do further work was very difficult - it took weeks of calling before we were actually able to schedule someone to come back. There were a few hang ups and trial and error with the remaining work, but eventually the basement was completely leak-free. We especially appreciate Adonis and David Trevor for making sure things finally got done the right way. JES could improve their interior communication, but the work they did was great, and we had good experiences with every crew member that came to our house.

On April 22, 2024 I had a representative from JES foundation repair company to come out and give me an estimate on my problem with my basement area.     After discovering some moisture that was leading to mold in our basement, we did our research and that led us to scheduling consultations with several companies to have our basement inspected for where the water might be getting in. From the very beginning, our experiences with JES staff were both friendly and professional. Our initial inspection and consultation was with Jason, who did a great job at explaining everything he was looking for and what he was seeing. He took his time walking us through the slideshow and answered every last question we had with a smile on his face. When it came time to talk pricing, he understood our budget and did what he could to get us towards our comfort zone without compromising the must haves that needed to be done to ensure our problem would be fixed. While we wanted to take advantage of sign today pricing, Jason gave us complete privacy and stepped outside so my spouse and I could have a conversation make our decision without feeling the pressure of sitting across from someone whos job is to convince us to sign. This made us feel incredibly respected. We were able to sign on the dotted line feeling comfortable and confident that we were making the right decision.Next came the crew who got the job done.     The work was scheduled quickly, they did all the work to get the necessary permits, and the price was competitive with other quotes we received.We used JES on a chimney that was separating from the house. The work crew (Keon, Benzonia, and Joseph) arrived on time and were both friendly and professional. They had to dig down about 6 feet in a flower bed, but carefully removed and later replaced all plants. At the end of day, the condition of the flower bed was as good as it was before they arrived.As for the foundation work, they explained what they were doing, offered to have me view each stage of the process, and gave me a full explanation of the work that was done at the end.Overall, we are very pleased with JES and would use them again.

    They did the right thing to make things right in the end. The experience started with the salesperson who came out and looked at my issue. He recommended a solution, the guys did the install, and initially all was okay. They worked fast and did good work. They didnt need to install a new power circuit which was in the estimate so they refunded me for that when I called them. I noticed after a little while that I still had some humidity problems, told the sales guy, and he came back out to look. After some back and forth which took a bit longer than ideal, the right person got involved and solved the issue. Turns out the initial solution was not enough but they corrected it without any added cost. They could have easily ignored me but instead they cared enough about my overall experience to come back out several times and make it right.

    I want to give a tremendous shout out to the crew at the top of this review: Mike B. the foreman, Gerald P. and Devante B. They’re the main reason for my five-star rating. They were incredibly easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire process. And their craftsmanship is top notch.I’ll break down my review to be a bit more helpful for prospective customers.Project: I have a 96 year old house with a leaky basement (21’ x 23’ in size). I hired JES to install a AquaStop BasementGutter and sump pump since we plan on finishing the basement this year. $13k total (I recommend doing your research ahead of time and taking the 5% same-day discount when they offer you their proposal).JES currently has a long backlog of projects, this was communicated to me when they came out for the initial inspection and proposal in early March. They said it would be at least an 8 week wait (it was 9 in the end).They do offer project financing through GreenSky. 25% down at signing and the remainder has to be paid off within a year, interest free (full disclosure: I don’t know if this is offered to everyone or to folks with good credit). With 5% high-yield savings accounts readily available and inflation eating away at the dollar’s purchasing power, it was a no-brainer for me to take the 0% interest financing for a year (I’m not a financial expert, consult someone who is).The actual work took two days (8 hours first day, 12 hours the second). Breaking up concrete is a loud operation but it wasn’t as loud as I expected. I was still able to get work done (with headphones on) and my 2-year-old toddler was still able to take a nap two floors above without any issues. I’m actually more sensitive to smells and needed to air out the house once the started to use PVC glue for the plastic pipes. So just plan ahead if you’re overly sensitive to sounds and smells.Overall, our basement looks 100 times better than before. It hasn’t rained yet so I’ve yet to know if the system works (I’ll update this review if it doesn’t but I have high expectations that it’ll hold up). All in all, I’m very happy with the work JES provided and grateful for Mike, Gerald, and Devante for all their hard work.

    The JES team did a fabulous job on our house. Steve Rodgers (sale person) worked extra long on answering my questions regarding special issues regarding my plumbing and water system. He even assisted me with preparing the area the night before the work began. Each of the 3 crews answered all my questions as they performed the work. Vince and his crew took the time to explain what they were doing and how the ploy form works to lift the slab. Jose and his pier crew were fantastic. Jose drilled through 5” of concrete without damaging the plumbing and he showed me how the last pier was installed and capped. Dylan and the foundation crew (waterproofing and foundation repair) walked me through the work area every day and answered my questions. (Be forewarned, this work creates an unbelievable amount of fine dust). To wrap it all up, Dustin and Reggie came in after all the crews left and literally cleaned up anything that wasn’t upon to Dustin’s standards. They even replaced the door threshold and make sure the sump pumps were easier to maintain. I recommend JES not only for the engineering planning, but also for the people who do the work.

The entre team showed up early, and got to work right away. The work was finished ahead of schedule and the basement somehow ended up cleaner than when Aden and team arrived. From a customer service standpoint, I have not had a better experience on work done on my house and would not recommend any other business in this category to family and friends.

    Excellent service from beginning to end. Joe Crossed, certified field inspector thoroughly inspected, measured and assessed the problem with our sinking foundation. He spent considerable time explaining the problems he found and provided the solutions. The work was scheduled for early January but an opening was available in mid-December so we of course grabbed the opportunity. The work was completed in four business days (note that JES Foundation Repair is closed on weekends). Kudos to the office staff for promptly pulling the building permit and scheduling the inspection. They also notified Miss Utility. The work crew consisting of Lamar, Brandon, Jeff and Keon arrived when promised and were ready to work. Lamar was the crew chief and answered all of our questions in a friendly and professional manner. He explained what he and his crew completed after each work day. The other members were helpful and cordial as well. The cost of the repairs ran into the five figures--as I expected--but was much less than I anticipated. Lifetime warranty (which transfers to the next owner) on the push piers that were installed and a five-year warranty on the yard well. The County inspection passed and I now have peace of mind. Highly recommended!

    The work Larry and Ron did was amazing! I say that because they got behind the hot water heater, furnace and a closet without having to move them and all the digging was the same width. I just knew beforehand that getting into some of those tight spaces would be difficult. All the demolishing they did...they cleaned up. They covered the outside grass so as not to disturb the lawn. I was truly amazed by their work. So much work, so little time. Im truly pleased with all that was done and in the time it took to do it.

    I had a great experience with the service provided from the beginning of the project to the end. They installed a new sump pump in my basement. I would like to give a shout-out to Adonis, who is an outstanding worker. However, after the installation, my sump pump wasnt working properly.     I had a great overall experience with JES. My salesman, Charles Gibbs, was respectful, professional, and did not make me feel pressured. He made sure I understood everything he was telling me.Larry and his partner did great work. They took great care to protect my possessions during demolition. They treated me with nothing but the utmost courtesy and respect and kept me informed of what was happening every step of the way.My only issue, and the only reason I can’t give a full five stars is that twice during the project Larry and his team were called off to emergencies. This caused the project to take 8 days to complete, as opposed to the originally scheduled three. There was also some confusion at the end. Larry told me he was waiting for an inspector to give him the go ahead to close up the trench and complete the job, who never showed up before he was called away to the second emergency. When I texted the office, I was told an inspection was not necessary, then texted 5 minutes later that the inspector was 15 minutes away. Not sure what that was all about, and in combination with a scheduling conflict on my side and a plumbing issue unrelated to the work it added 4 days to the project. Aside from this I am satisfied and would use JES again.

    Great experience from the initial consultation/inspection with Mujtaba, to the pre-install walk-thru with George and finally the installation. Richard and his team, Isaiah and Tyler did a phenomenal job with the install. All were very professional and friendly. Upon arrival, Richard explain the whole repair process and how long the entire job would take. Richard answered all my questions about the job and my concerns about moisture in the basement. Richard also notice there was an issue with my sump pump. He opened the sump pump, drained and flushed out the barrel and determined the fault so I was able to get the unit fix through warranty the same day. This was not part of the contracted service.Team was respectful of my property and left the area they worked cleaner than when they came. Service surpassed expectations! I definitely recommend JES and this particular crew!

Mike Talipan was immediately sent out to assess the problem, after which he came back with his supervisor, Mike Pry. They both opined that the initial waterproofing was not adequate and JES accepted full responsibility to correct the problem, a major job, with no cost to me!After new permits, etc., Mike returned yesterday with a crew made up of foreman Keon Smith, along with Joseph, Benzonia and John G. They were all knowledgeable, respectful, and very skilled. The job was completed in one day and they did a phenomenal job. Mike Talipan was simply outstanding.     4 star due to scheduling issues I had and having to call to get the work completed.Joe Crossfield/David Gaskins/Larry and crew were great.Joe was the sales guy that came out to quote us for the work. He was very polite and was honest about what needed to be done. He didn’t upsell us on any add ons and helped us save a little bit of money by offering alternatives for the encapsulation project.Larry and crew: they came and did the work and did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves and completed the work. Not sure if it was the day or the overwhelming work the crew had, but I felt like I was rushed when I asked questions and felt like an inconvenience when I did asked questions. So I didn’t appreciate that.David Gaskins: was polite and explained how to clean the dehumidifier and all that. Explained what the RH% should be in the crawlspace and showed me how to work the dehumidifier. I originally called because I wanted my encapsulated crawlspace to be at 40% RH but it wasn’t getting there. He explained to me that it is possible for the machine to get down that low but explained the issue that I may have with my foundation and wood beam. He was very honest and did not rush me when I was asking the questions.Cons:-After paying the deposit, I had to give the office a call to schedule my appointment. I would think that they would call me to schedule and get it on the books, but that did not happen.-the scheduler scheduled the encapsulation, but not the electricians subcontractor. You would think that they should schedule the electrician first before the work so that the work is totally complete once the crew comes. I ended up calling the office, getting the phone number to the electricians, and calling the electricians myself to get something scheduled since the office could only email the subcontractor to be put on the books.

    I used this company last year for foundation repair and basement waterproofing which also involves adding/changing my discharge line outside for the sump pump drainage. I then used them again last week to deepen my sump pump pit, put in a new sump pump, and extend my discharge line, as when they put it in last year, it was causing lots of mud because of the way my yard sits. There was a discrepancy with the work that was done last year and this years installers had the courtesy of being honest with me and telling me they did not complete the job 100% correctly. I was/am SO grateful that he was honest in sharing this with me. After reaching out to the supervisor, the issue was resolved and a heavy discount was given for the job not being completed 100% correctly. I would 100% use this company again and had EXCELLENT customer service! My Forman this year was Nick Peters and coforman was Keon Smith. The supervisor I spoke with was named Bryce. Everyone was extremely friendly and kind. A specific huge shout out to Nick as well because I was not home during the install and he called multiple times to keep me apprised of the progress.

Foreman David Gaskins came out to my place and immediately flagged some issues which were overlooked by the salesman they had sent out to provide me with an estimate for a sump pump upgrade. I spoke with his manager, Zach Wonder, and, after a little back-and-forth, he said that the contractor was right and they needed to do slightly more work at my place than they originally thought. He sorted me out almost immediately with free add-ons as an apology for the confusion and pushed my case back to the scheduling department.     I want to compliment the JES gentlemen who repaired an underground sump pump discharge pipe on 3/2/23. Santos Ramirez Cruz, Jeuris Pujols Flores, and Anthony Ross, Jr. were sent by JES to correct the pipe installation performed by JES in December. Mr. Cruz and his team assessed the situation and decided in order to get it right to dig up the original pipe and set a new pipe lower in the ground. This included re-routing the pipe, installing elbow connections and taking up (and replacing) a section of the sidewalk. They addressed every concern I had about the original installation. It was clear they were committed to providing an excellent finished product. They were professional and great communicators. I am very pleased with the results.

They would tell me step by step what they would be doing.2nd crew was with Santos, Keon, and John only on the job for 1 week, worked so hard hooking up the sump pump outside to downspouts and to PVC pipe laid so water drained properly away from the house. You could not tell where they had dug up the lawn to lay PVC pipe.Richard who was over these 2 crews was also great in listening to what I wanted to have done.     First and foremost, I NEVER write reviews; however, I found it necessary in this case because the two young men who came to perform the work were true professionals. Foreman Michael Kuffour and Co-foreman Alan Brown arrived on time! They professionally introduced themselves. I felt immediately at ease because once I directed them to the area that needed repair, they quickly communicated operation issues and recommended changes so that the work to be performed was accurately understood in laypersons terms. They utilized precision measuring instruments and fixtures to measure the dimensions of finished work pieces: downspouts and sump pump operations. They were extremely conscientious and ensured that work complied with all relevant codes, standards, and job specifications. They followed procedures to maintain the work environment neat and orderly. Mike, the Project Supervisor, arrived. Mike was knowledgeable and provided information on further work and any materials and equipment needed. He communicated ways to gain efficiencies and more effective installation methods in collaboration with us (the customer), which I greatly appreciated so that we could meet the goals and work towards a final resolution to our water problem. He inspected the Encapsulation work under the crawl space also. Once the meeting was over, I felt secure that the remainder of the result would be proficiently performed and up to code.     The team of Ron, Derrick, and James arrived on time, so that was off to a great start. And honestly... it only got better from there. They were all very polite and professional as they completed their work. They had a rough start due to street sweeping on my street that was out of all of our control, but it was a very resilient team: this minor hiccup did not phase them. They also answered my questions and gave me a nice walkthrough of what was completed once the work was done. I have a tiny basement and a very small crawlspace, so they were able to complete all of the work in a day. They also did a really nice job cleaning up after themselves. My basement crawlspace definitely looks less spooky: here is hoping it is now less damp after the encapsulation! Also, thank you to Michael Stehman who came out to give me a consultation/assessment on the crawlspace work.

    Initially we signed up to have a retaining wall repair- eventually ,we did not use JES to complete our project. However, I do want to say the company is very professional, and responsive to our needs for the entire process. I want to give a 10 star rating to the employees of JES: Sango, and Mike(who were the physical project workers ) they were beyond excellent in their work ethic and professionalism. The Middle River office has exceptional phone response and staff: Canessa and Charity, who were great at listening and following through on our requests. George, Corey and Mike, who were sales and supervisors were very responsive and professional and great to work with, if ever you indeed need their company to do a project for your home. JES should be extremely proud of their staff and workers! I was very impressed with them and comfortable with them at my home and if i was their employer,i would be sure they got great bonuses and benefits for their great representation of the company they work for.Cheryl

    Megan H and Blake A. Did an annual service on my inner gutter system and sump pump. They explain what they would be doing. I informed them of an issue I had during the recent cold snap. A recommendation was given along with price. At no time did I feel pressure to go with the recommendation. I went with the recommendation for the extended discharge line and freeze guard. with the sump pump line there was an issue they informed me about and what they plan to do to correct it. I am happy with the outcome and their service.

    Neri, Denison Fuentes, Juan Mata and Angel Mata did an awesome job in fixing my basement. They were very professional. They made sure that I was satisfied with the work also explained everything that they were doing. THAT CREW WAS AWESOME, OUTSTANDING!!!!!!     Our journey started with Field Inspector Thomas who was very thorough in explaining the entire process. On the day of the job we met Foreman TJ and his crewman. They were a top notch team of professionals. Their work from start to finish was meticulous and when they were done, other than our level patio, they left no trace.     My front concrete entry/stairs to my house has sunk and become uneven over the years. I called Jes Foundation Repair and Tom Rogers came out and spent a great deal of time explaining the process they use to lift the slab using the Polyrenewal system to lift the slab back into place and make it waterproof under the concrete. Daquan and Kavon came out, explained in detail what they would be doing before they started. They were so friendly and helpful and did a wonderful job! My front entry way is now level and looks great. Thank you guys for doing such a wonderful job.

    My home foundation was repaired this month by JES. I didnt know what to expect and was nervous. JES was referred to me by a friend. I had an Outstanding experience! Lisa, the office representative provided friendly customer service with scheduling and returned calls. Zack, Certified Field Inspector, helped me to understand the foundation situation with my home and the next process steps. The service team, Rudy G, Victor C, David P, deserve a rate of 5 for the professional outstanding foundation work they completed on my home and left my home area clean. George, Baltimore supervisor s attentiveness to answers all of my questions and concerns to my satisfaction was appreciated. JES is a company that I will definitely recommend to others.     Our Home received structural repairs to 200+ year old support logs with associated humidity and dampness problems in our basement. The repairs occurred approximately 1year ago.We just finished with Megan, who performed our annual inspection. She arrived promptly at our 8 AM appointment time, calling first to confirm.Megan was professional, courteous, and very thorough.She was very comfortable educating my wife and I about the system, including some tips on maintaining the system.She quickly corrected problems that she saw with the system and explained the rationale for doing so.We both definitely give Megan 5/5 stars for her friendliness and efficient service.We will definitely request her for our next annual check up.

    Corey Huntley arrived ON TIME for our initial meeting and estimate. He was friendly and very professional. He spoke with us to discuss our needs and concerns. We were interested in the raising of our front sidewalk and cement slabs around our inground pool. He then did a walk through of our property and pointed out areas that needed to be lifted. He drew out a plan for the work to be done, provided us with a visual presentation, and answered any questions that we had. We did sign a contract with JES and hope that all the work will be done,as promised AND to our satisfaction. We will follow up with another review once the work is completed.
