    I was happy to discover Cali Energy just when I needed them most. I originally had another company lined up for the installation before the NEM 2.0 deadline, but at the last minute, they didn’t show up, and we had to start over. In a panic, I searched for another solar company, and Cali Energy seemed to have the best reviews.Maria from Cali Energy took over the project and understood my urgency. She had a field engineer come out immediately, completed the drawings, and secured city approval within a week. The following week, we had the installation, final inspection, and the entire job was completed on time.According to the city inspector, it was one of the best installations he had seen, which gave me even more reassurance that I had chosen the right company.Thank you, Maria!

    Cali Energy has been a great company. They provided us with a solar system bigger than we had planned and within our price range. The installation went smoothly and did not have to wait long and they did a very nice job. Their customer service is very good and took care of everything from getting permits, to installation, and submitting the application to Edison. If you plan on getting solar, I would definitely give them a call. We are very happy that we chose them.

    CaliEnergy took on a contractors worst case scenario - another contractor totally botched our installation (so much so that the CSLB is in the process of revoking their license) and were so professional from the very start - following up promptly on every emai and request. In the end, I paid them a modest fee to evaluate, correct and submit the system for inspection - one day they made the corrections and the very next day the City came out and approved the installation. As a contractor myself (44 years) I rarely run into a company that is this responsible - so obviously, I would highly recommend you start with them.

    It was such as amazing experience working with Cali Energy to install a solar system for our new build ADU. From Maria as the project manager to all the crew, they were very professional, very organized with disciplined. The whole team had great communication with me during the project to make sure everything is moving forward smoothly. The installer or technician did a very clean job and paid attention to deliver the best possible job. Another important thing to mention is their quote was better than other companies. The material that they used is among the top materials in the market. I highly recommend Cali Energy and look forward to working again to install solar panels for our main house.

    This company provided an absolutely outstanding service. I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards each and every one who handled my installation. Alex who was my project manager was very responsive and friendly. From the start to the very end he held my hand every step of the way. Truly grateful to everyone at the office who pushed city’s buttons to expedite my paperwork. The installers are also true masters of their craft. The installation took only 1 day which is a mind blowing experience as I dealt with contractors in the past and my experience with them was nothing like this one with Cali Energy. My standing ovation to this amazing company. They are fast, communicative, friendly, and most of all honest! Thank you!

    My wife and I had a large, new 23 kW solar system installed by Cali Energy as well as a new electrical panel upgrade. Cali Energy gave guided us to use the best, highest efficiency panels with the best performance guarantee in the industry. They did this at a very competitive price. We found the communication with Cali to be excellent, all their workers were professional and competent and they went out of their way to make sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. If you are considering solar, I suggest you get a proposal from Cali Energy before making your final choice.

    OK, I’m ready to go solar!DroneQuote and Enerysage were the first outfits I reached out to. Multiple quotes (7 to be exact), some conversation and submitting my LADWP bill to all. Now I heard that 4/15/23 was a deadline date where the electric companies (i.e. So. Cal Edison) would claw back rebates for credits, and everyone I spoke with said yes that is true, so I felt some urgency to get this moving.But Maria took all my information and told me that my electric company LADWP was not part of the deadline. WOW! I could have just waited to move forward, but I was sold on her honesty! You can’t get any better than that!She scheduled her tech to come out and do a detailed job walk within the next couple of days. And boy, I was really impressed with him. He happened to be her close relative, and I liked that, a close family owned company!Long story short, after I awarded them the contract, she was able to get the permit in a couple days, and schedule the installation date the very next week. I was thinking several weeks, but that was fast.Their crew came out and installed all 24 panels in 11 hours…a very long day. Then the final crew came out to finalize the pieces and get ready for inspection. All went well and LADWP came out to install the final roof connection. A week later a LADWP tech came out to remove my old meter and install the new solar meter.All this took 3 weeks! Maria was in constant communication with me by text (which I prefer) and updated me on all aspects of the installation.I waited a month to post, so I could see how the system was performing. The Enphase software is spot on, in real-time reporting, of all aspects regarding my consumption and production (software is free).I just received my first electric bill (today) and even though it has been only one month (out of a two month cycle), my bill has decreased 86% (any number you put in can compute the difference). After a full 2 month cycle, LADWP will be owing me money!

    Time is of the essence, because only time shows if the company is good or not. I had always wanted to install solar but since I have a tile roof I wasn’t so sure if it would be the right decision for me. I didn’t want the crew to climb up to my roof and break all of the tiles. My friend, however, referred me to this company praising how good the company is and how clean they work. Well, I found out soon enough that it is true. They did not break a SINGLE tile while installing solar. It’s been almost two years now and I still don’t have any issues with the performance of my solar system or with the roof. Thank you for the amazing work!

    I cannot thank them enough for my solar energy system. Getting solar was a tough one for me. I had been shopping around for some time. I also had multiple consultations with plenty of different solar companies, and honestly, Calienergy is the best of the best. Their consultants break down the process to you and literally explain every single step they make. They answer your questions in a timely manner. Never failed to communicate. Never. And most of all, I never felt like they were trying to sell me as many panels as they possibly could. They asked me for my electrical bills and examined them to calculate how many panels I would need to completely cover my electrical usage. The consultation helped me understand what I am paying for. They are one of those few contractors who work with dignity and honesty. Brilliant team!

    My system was completed yesterday. I’m thrilled to start using my own energy. The job was done super quickly. Yea, paper work took around two weeks, but the installation .... let me tell you something. I saw people writing how these guys complete installation in 1 day, but I had too many friends and family members who dealt with other solar companies and was like nuh it cant be. oh it can! I was honestly shocked, but in a good way. Only one day for a 7.26 kW system is something beyond this world. I am grateful to them for being masters of their craft. Couldn’t be happier with the results!

    This company recently installed my 9.92 kW system. They did a site inspection first, after which we had an online discussion about it. Maria ( consultant) answered all of my questions with a technical precision, which made me feel more secure about the company. I got a special promotion that they recently ran I believe. They upgraded the main service panel for free! Overall a great great experience. Definitely will recommend them to my friends and family.

    I know that the company is located in LA, and therefore I want to highlight how determinant the team is. I live in San Francisco, and it’d seem to be a complication, but not for them. The communication was excellent throughout the process. They always got back to me quickly and with the answers to all of my questions. It is really hard to find a company that will deliver excellent customer service to the end. It is especially hard when you are dealing with contractors. Fortunately, this company exceeded all of my expectations. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

    My husband is an engineer, and he just loved when the crew was on the site. He could not leave them alone! I had never seen him as excited as when he was speaking with them. The technicians are super friendly and according to my husband extremely knowledgeable. We had great laughs and most importantly a great experience! Thank you!

    Maybe it’s a bit early for me to give them 5 stars since we are halfway through the installation process, but from what I see their staff are extremely competent in their field. I see commitment and determination. They truly go above and beyond for their clientele. I am sure they will keep delivering 5 stars customer service to the end (especially after I post this review ;) ).

    I have NO WORDS to describe how awesome this company is!!! I have dealt with another solar company a few years ago and I never signed the contract with them. They didn’t have “it”. But CaliEnergy is something else really. Amazing teamwork, super detailed consultation, quick and reliable. From the start to the end they are there for you. I love saving money, that is why I invested in solar. But when they told me that they they ran a promotion and would upgraded my main service panel for free I got extremely happy lol!!! Plus, I am excited about this 26% tax credit. I will definitely refer these guys to my friends and family and will get an additional check for it! :)
