    My girlfriend and I recently bought a house in Lakewood. We absolutely loved the property but there was one glaring issue which was the main structural support beam had been partially eaten by termites and some of the joists had been damaged. We needed a quote in order to move forward with the negotiation process for the house and they came out immediately to see it and give us an estimate. After several visits with other contractors we had gathered a few estimates and decided wed work with their team to move forward with the fix. Their estimate was the most affordable option and they seemed to be the most confident. The others all seemed hesitant to take on this kind of project.Alex and his team came in and not only replaced the beam but had to put a hole in the side of our house, re-route the air ducts, disconnect water, disconnect gas, and cut a larger hole in the foundation to place the beam. They did all of that and put it all back together within 3 and a half days. They also reconnected the water for our upstairs bathroom during the weekend so we wouldnt have to leave to shower or use the restroom.Beyond that, Alex is a very fun and easy going person which made it easy to work with him and his team.When we decide to take on another project in the future, we definitely plan to use Forte again. We felt very lucky to have found them.

    We highly recommend Forte Builders for your next project. Alex was very easy to work with and explained exactly what would be done each phase of our renovation. The workers kept an extremely clean space and left everything spotless at the end of each day. The project was completed on time and at the estimated cost. We will definitely be using Forte Builders again for any future projects we have!

    I had a full bathroom that was in desperate need of a remodel. I contacted Forte Builders and spoke with Alex. Alex was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process of the remodel. He took the time listen to what I wanted in the bathroom and also provided meaningful suggestions. I had numerous questions and Alex took his time to answer them either by text, phone or e-mail. While working on the bathroom, Alex and his team made sure to limit the amount of dust and debris from going throughout the rest of the house. They put up plastic walls, covered the furniture and put down floor protection mats to walk on. The team worked very hard and paid attention to details. My vanity was custom made and I LOVE it!! After the completion, the team did a great job cleaning and getting the majority of dust and debris. I recommend Forte Builders for any type of remodeling.

    Forte Builders did a great job. They have joined two rooms together and expanded it to our master bathroom, which now has a freestanding tub and a separate roomy shower. Two custom made vanities were also installed, and in the end, our bathroom still has plenty of room to work with.The team was working closely with us throughout the project, even more so when the project was in the planning phase. They gave suggestions and helped find the right materials. They provided us with a design as well as 3D rendering which helped is understand what options were the best. In general, the bathroom gained a lot of room, including the high ceilings overhead. We were very happy with the project and Forte Builders helped guide our project in the right direction. If you want to do a project for yourself and want it to be unique, I highly recommend Forte Builders as your contractor.

    We chose Forte Builders for our kitchen remodel after meeting with several companies. Alex and his teams attention to detail were amazing. Alex was always available by text/phone throughout the whole project and answered every question and concern no matter how small. It was a great experience and we are very happy with the results. We have since used Forte for some small projects around the house as well. I would highly recommend Forte Builders.

    I purchased a very outdated 1 bedroom condo unit and it needed a complete overhaul. I was struggling to find a contractor that would even provide a quote. I met Forte at the Home and Garden Show and figured I would give them a shot to at least quote the work. Alex at Forte was extremely quick and professional so I decided to work with him and I couldnt have been happier.Even though it was only a one bedroom condo unit there was a lot of work to be done. Walls knocked out, new ceiling, entirely new kitchen and bathroom, all new flooring, electric, plumbing...list goes on. Everything came out great. The quality or work was top notch and I also appreciated recommendations Alex provided along the way.I have had a few extra smaller projects since the remodel and again I couldnt be happier. I strongly recommend anyone looking to improve their house to reach out to Forte Builders.

    I had a major living room remodel done by Alex and his team and they did a fantastic job! They tore a couple walls down to open up the living room and then installed solid bamboo flooring. It took just a little longer than planned, but that was not a big deal at all because the quality or the work was fantastic and I think schedule is the hardest thing to predict for any and all contractors in general. My living room finally feels like a livable space and it looks beautiful. Would recommend for any project. Alex told me they do anything from paint your front door to build a whole house, so no project is too big or too small. 10/10 would recommend

    Alex and his team did a great job. They completed a full remodel of our master bathroom and walk in closet. We were provided with a detailed rendering of the project prior to starting the work and Alex worked with us along the way to make small changes. The quality of work was excellent. The crew was on time everyday and kept the workspace clean. After being impressed by the bathroom and closet project, we asked Alex to complete additional work around the house.     I hired Alex and his team to renovate my kitchen, remove a wall, install new flooring and paint the first floor.     It was time to remodel my bathroom. I was so happy to be introduced to Alex from Forte Builders. We met to discuss the project and he sent an itemized estimate. Alex provided excellent service for this entire project! He designed a walk in shower and helped me to make a decision on tile, lighting, mirror, faucet.... all that goes into a bathroom remodel.Alex and his creative crew did beautiful high quality work... all done in a timely manner!     Forte builders were recommended to me from a friend who used them for multiple project in her home. They painted the interior of my home requiring scaffolding and a crew of multiple men. They also created a new ceiling in my master bedroom, hung two large chandeliers and a fan. The quality of their work was excellent, they worked hard and long to get the job completed promptly and every single one of them were friendly to myself and my children. Alex was very quick to respond to any of my calls or texts and always corrected any small issue without question. I felt that his pricing was very fair and truly enjoyed working with him and his crew. I would highly recommend these guys!

    I have had the pleasure of working with Alex for several years now he’s completed several big projects for me and I cannot speak enough to the amazing quality of his work. I have been in the industry as a realtor working for many years and I have never found a contractor who has as great of quality of work as he does. His work is exceptional. Top notch!! I have trusted him with a very big projects in my home and I would recommend and refer him to anybody. Not only is his work exceptional but he is a pleasure to work with, he has a great personality and he’s very easy, trustworthy and very responsive. His team is also fantastic to work with. If you need something big in your house completed he is the company to do it with. I will always use Alex for our big projects and even small projects. In fact, if I was building a home I would absolutely and trust him with this as well. Alex not only is a fantastic contractor but he is a great friend. He comes over the house and my whole family and all of my children recognize him immediately. I have even trusted him working in my house without me being present.     We hired Alex and the team at Forte to renovate our 100 year old kitchen. We initially planned to have the work done during the fall of 2020 and they were incredibly understanding when we pushed the project back due to the pandemic.We ultimately had our project underway in Spring 2021, with custom cabinetry that was built off-site. Cabinets took about 12 weeks to have built. In addition, Forte relocated a gas line to move our stove, moved a water line and installed a refrigerator, painted, installed a tile backsplash, installed light fixtures, ordered, finished and installed countertops and moved some electrical outlets. Alex sent over drawings of the plans we discussed and made changes to ensure that the flow of the kitchen made sense.The crew spent just over two weeks to completely transform the kitchen. Alex had a crew of polite, professional, clean workers at our house for 8-12 hours a day until the project was complete. They were kind to our children and pets, respected that our entire family still needed to live in the house while they were working, and were very responsive to all sorts of questions along the way.I have three more projects I would love to have Forte work on. Alex is at the top of my list of contractors to share with friends and to call for future work on our home!

    We hired Alex to put in an entirely new kitchen (as in, it was a conference room and we turned it into a kitchen!). I thought it would be cost-prohibitive and have too long of a timeline to be feasible β€” to my surprise, it was neither. I felt Fortes prices were incredibly fair (in line with the other proposal we got), and the timeline was shockingly fast. Their team showed up exactly when they said they would, worked quietly and cleanly, and completed the job faster and better than I could have ever expected. Even with a few little changes along the way (choices we were making), they were able to adjust, accommodate, and stay on schedule.We hired Forte for the second time to remove a wall in our office. Again, I thought it would take forever and be very expensive and it was neither! They were in an out in one week, and you would never even know they were there. The job seemed so complicated to me β€” there were multiple ceiling heights and finishes, carpet to repair, plumbing and electrical to relocate... Alex and his team made it seem easy. Now that I know them, I have renewed excitement for home renovation projects. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

    Alex and his team did a great job! I used Alex for this project as well as several other projects in other homes and they have always turned out great. They are very respectful of our home and property and trustworthy enough to leave them to do what needs to be done. We did a complete kitchen remodel, including removing a wall to make it more open. It is so much better and we are happy with the end result. Anything I asked, Alex addressed without hesitation and made sure we were completely happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend!
