My electric has needed to be repaired since hurricane Ian. I have had many electrical contractors here approximately three. When Sergeant’s Electric Scheduled an appointment for me I knew I was going with them to complete the electrical in my house. The technician who came was kind and thorough as others weren’t he spent time going through my house inside and out. Yesterday, November 1 Fpl came to shut my electric and Nick Z and Cody went to work. I watched them work. They were thorough. They cleaned up their mess, and they did it with a quickness so that I was not without Electric for the entire day. I appreciate that and finally I can move beyond the despair of putting my house back together. I would recommend this company every time.

Made appointment a few days ago. Sargents called yesterday to confirm and called today to let us know Technician would be arriving shortly.We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew today for install of a Type 2 surge protector. His work is top notch, inside of the box wiring is very neat. Very fair pricing.Andrew provided an overview of the 3 types of surge protectors and how this unit functions. Installer and manufacturer warranties reviewed. I had questions about generator hookup and a few other items. All were answered with useful detail and estimates were also provided.Andrews depth of knowledge, transparency and explaining in terms I understand were much appreciated.We will be using Sargents Electric again.Thanks !!- Jeff

Dave is awesome! Dave was the electrician that came to fix an outlet issue we had and provide quotes for a few other jobs. He is a Veteran, super friendly, and obviously knowledgeable of the trade. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the outlet issue. We were so happy with his work that we decided to go ahead with one of the jobs he quoted us for, which was installing a generator set up (interlock, surge protector, etc.). Everything looks great and he walked us through how everything works. We are very happy with the service and prices!

Second time Ive used Sergeants Electric, specifically Dave, for my electrical needs.First for a generator hookup on my house. Then a generator startup and training session, along with the installation of a new outlet in my garage. Dave was excellent, explained all the work along with the particulars, and had everything needed to do the jobs that day, and right, the first time. He left the job site as he found it which is also a plus. Highly recommend Dave with Sergeants Electric.

Perfect location...adding on to my review..Im so grateful for choosing sergeant electric over two other companies. This team of professionals made all the difference. The ladies that called to either set up the appointment, confirm FPL date, my date, the electrician arrival was always upbeat and to the point. FPL arrived on time, he was really friendly, then Nick Nicely and David arrived right on time. Nick went through my order and asked me if there was anything else...I said as a matter of fact I wonder if I can get a portable connector interlock device. he said sure Ill give you an estimate. No negativity from adding on to my order, fully knowing it would take longer. David and Nick got started. New panel, surge protector, new ground, interlock device for my portable generator. They did awesome clean work. And labeled everything including the instructions for the interlock device. I am truly impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, cleanup, and detailed instruction walk through of connecting my generator. The customer invoice wording is clever, using the term investment instead of amount due! I found Sergeants electric because my neighbor Josh works there and I see his truck in his driveway at night. I work too so I could never be around during a reasonable hour when he was home to discuss the matter so Instead I just called sergeant to get an appointment

We recently bought a home that needed multiple upgrades/ repairs. We are new to Florida, didnt know who to turn to for our electrical needs. Sergeants electric had their name on our electric panel, so we felt they would be a good place to start our search for an electrician.We couldnt be happier with this company. From the first person you encounter on the phone, the schedulers, the technicians and apprentices, to management, everyone is professional, knowledgable and highly experienced.I want to give high accolades to one electrician specifically... Max! He is so professional, knowledgeable, patient and experienced. He spent so much time, evaluating our projects for the best options and cost for us. He was so respectful of our space. We had 3 projects and Max performed them all expertly. I also want to comment on how wonderful a preceptor/mentor he was when working with an apprentice. Max gave concise direction, followed up with positive reinforcement and encouragement. He was patient and demonstrated genuine interest in the apprentices success, all while giving us the best service ever.We have never had such a wonderful experience with electrical contractors before. We will recommend your company and Max 100%!

We have used Sergeants Electric several times since we bought our home. They have installed Ceiling Fans, lights and whole house surge protection. This morning I discovered that our sprinter system was not on...and it appeared to be a defective GFI plug. I called Sergeants Electric at 9 a.m. They were able to get our technician here 90 minutes later! Thats an amazing response time! The technician, Robbie, did a great job. As we have found with all the Sergeants crew - every one is professional and friendly. If you need any electric work done - you should call them - highest quality work and competitive prices.

The best. The absolute best. The whole experience was top notch from calling the office to schedule the appointment to the technician coming out . Max, our technician answered all our questions and was able to complete our work same day! He is an amazing technician, extremely knowledgable in electrical work and in making sure the work is done in compliance. He kept the job area so clean that you would have never known that we had any work done upon completion. We were so happy with his work and the level of professionalism of this company that we plan on having future projects done and would highly recommend this company! Nick and Derek came out to install the electric for our new hurricane screens. They were professional, courtesy, friendly, helpful and very knowable. They had to string the electric through a tiny space in our attic to get though to the lanai and they managed it cheerfully and without incident, which we greatly appreciated. They also cleaned everything up when they were through. I give them my highest recommendation. I might mention the office girls were very delightful also to speak with on the phone.

Had an amazing experience with this top-notch company and their stellar technicians! Max came out to check on a Tesla charger they had installed for us a while back. He was incredibly thorough, taking the time to diagnose the issue and, get this, he replaced the breaker under warranty without charging us a dime! Max was also super respectful, especially around my kids and family, which we really appreciated. His expertise was impressive, and I can’t recommend him enough—be sure to ask for Max if you want the job done right with a friendly touch!

What fantastic service!!! Nick Zinny was awesome - very knowledgeable and professional - we have an older home, needed ability to have a special ceiling fan remote installed and a new light switch...Completely transparent about what the cost would be, and what additional cost could be involved if wires needed to be run across the attic, etc. Nick fixed the problem and while he was here, we had a couple of other old switches with some issues - he took care of them as well. Talked to him about a home home surge protector and we will be calling them to install it. So glad to find this company!!!!!!

Great service and professional people! They came out to replace an old Zinsco/Sylvania setup from 1980. I never knew this house was so far below current code requirements. They walked me through what was needed to bring to current standards and set my home up. No scams, just true honesty on what was needed to be replaced/added. I was having an issue with one of my circuit breakers. I called the office for an appointment. Not only were the technicians earlier than expected, a heads up call prior to their arrival. Brian and Josh showed up, and Brian explained the cost and what they were going to do. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it in no time. We had a problem with a breaker tripping. Nick, the Sergeant’s tech came within the scheduled time frame. Breaker would not trip while he was here but he spent time trying to find the issue. After Nick left 3 hours later it tripped and would not reset. Nick came back that night found the problem and put a band aid fix in until the next day when they could schedule the repair. It was already 9:00pm so we were fine with that. I would highly recommend Sergeant’s Electric!

We called Robin tonight for service. She said that they were trying to answer emergency calls due to the Helene. When I explained my problem she agreed to send someone out within an hour. While waiting we talked to a friend that said others were experiencing the same problem and it was an FP & L issue. We called them, they ran a diagnostic test and restored our power. We called Robin to tell her we no longer required their services but would be happy to pay the fee to come out. She said no need to pay them. We will definitely use them in the future. Thanks again.

Everyone at Sergeants Electric are professional and very responsive! Their prices are reasonable and fair. We had hot tub electrical wiring and trenching installed by Brian and he was outstanding! He had to come back several times during our Lanai extension project. He was always on time and explained everything to me. They arrived on time for the scheduled 2 pm appointment for an estimate to install a new charger for our new Tesla. Sgt Nicely was very thorough in his evaluation and provided a suggestion for whole house surge protection. An hour after they provided their estimate, our new charger arrived. I called the office to say that we wanted to have them install the charger and to try and get on their schedule. It looked like it would be about 8 - 10 days. We agreed and hung up. 5 minutes later we got a call back and were informed that Sgt Nicely and Airman Ralph were just finishing up another job and could do our installation tonight. They arrived just after 5 pm and finished very quickly. The job was perfect. We were floored at the customer service! We highly recommend using this company for all of your electrical needs.

I texted Christian on Sunday night and asked them to please move me up and by Monday morning at 1200 I was ready to go. Hurricane season is fast approaching so we decided to get a portable generator to power the house. We called Sergeants and were immediately impressed with the friendly voice that answered the phone and efficiently scheduled the appt. Nicky and Andrew arrived on time and presented us with 3 different scenarios which ranged from including the price of a generator they would provide to just hooking one up to our electrical panel. We chose a middle option. They arrived for the installation - again on time - after we received a friendly call from their office telling us when they would arrive. Nicky and Andrew were GREAT! They did the install, demonstrated how it all worked and patiently answered all our questions. Sergeants is now on my call list should I need any electrical work.

When we decided to add an outdoor kitchen, Sergeant Electric had the best reviews. Alex and Justin were timely, courteous and completed the project so inspections passed on the first go around. Sergeants ran all the electric for the project and put in two Haiku fans, under lighting for our bar, recessed pergola lighting and wall scones. Were thrilled with the finished project!

Very professional group of electricians. Came over and installed a whole house surge protector I had already purchased. Nicky and Cody explained the process and made me feel more relaxed about how the installation works and how the surge protector functions. In Florida, with all the thunderstorms, this is a must in every home. After being struck nearby twice in two years and losing LED lights and a TV, I had to get a surge protector installed in the electrical panel and Sergeant delivered!!

Nick and Dave showed up at the time agreed upon, the took the time to listen to our needs and wants we walked around the house they gave us suggestions on some of our ideas. They came in to cool off we discussed all of the work to be done they wrote up the estimate we agreed on the price and deposit, we needed something done immediately so they began they worked fast efficiently and as they worked they explained what and why they were doing. We had a little issues unforeseen so it was brought to our attention we agreed it needed to be dealt with at that moment it cost a bit more but so worth being safe. When they finished all was cleaned up they walked through the entire job and we were very satisfied and set up another appointment for them to do the rest of the work. Nick is the man in charge and he made everything go so smoothly I am recommending him and the company to all my friends.

We used Sergeants Electric a few times now and highly recommend them. Last year Nicky V. hooked up a backup generator and an ev charger for us. We had such a great experience that we asked for him again this year when we wanted to do several upgrades to our house and barn.Nicky V. and Cody spent three days here making all the changes we wanted and once again it was a great experience. I was having an electrical issue and called for an appointment. I was able to get an appointment in 5 days. I received a call back shortly after making the appointment. They were able to send out an electrician today, due to a job being finished earlier than expected. Sgt. Nicely & Steve arrived when I was told they would. They were pleasant and efficient. They quickly diagnosed the issues, gave me a quote and with my approval, proceeded to fix the problems. When finished, they made sure everything was in working order and did a good cleaned up of the areas. I will use Sergeants electric in the future for my electrical needs.

Two electricians from Sergeant’s Electric (Nick & Adam) installed a Tesla wall connector next to the breaker and repaired a GFI in the garage. From the initial call, to the quoting visit, to final installation I couldn’t ask for a more professional and friendly experience! They even did a panel tune up and tightened several loose terminals and while having the panel opened up. There’s a reason they’re so highly rated, they live up to it. Will definitely use them again in the future!

We were in desperate need of an electrician, as our fuse panel was smoking and smoldering, forcing us to call the fire department and having our power turned off. A technician was dispatched to our condo within one hour. Robbie did a fantastic job. He was very polite, efficient, and professional. Robbie was here for over four hours and did a thorough assessment of the wiring even going up in the hot attic. He determined that there was no visible damage but isolated the problem to one wire between the two smoke alarms. He recommended that the wire be replaced. I will be scheduling this job on Robbies schedule. I appreciated Robbies professionalism. Josh and Mike showed up on time and both gentlemen were kind and respectful. The electric was brand new and just on the other side of the ceiling so not much was needed to tie it in. They did also do a complementary inspection of my electrical box as well which was nice...Im over the heart attack now at the cost and will focus on the great service :) I would still recommend.

We wanted to add a whole house surge protector and a back up generator interlock transfer switch. I looked at local electicians and contacted three companies. One failed to respond, one gave a general quote over the phone without coming to look at the job, and Sergeants Electric. Eugene came out to look at the job, gave an estimate and we made an appt. Eugene and Jordan came to do the work which consisted of rearranging a few breakers, installing the interlock switch, drilling through the block wall which is no easy task and installed the switch on the outside wall. They installed the surge protector, explaining how all of the upgrades worked, and did all of the work neatly and cleanly. I was very impressed with how they worked together and explained everything . Overall, they were prompt, clean, and finished in less time than anticipated. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend Eugene and Jordan.

We had an emergency call on Sunday when we were without power. they arrived in one hour. Sgt. Nicely was the professional that came to our house and identified the issue with the main breaker. He was the best and most friendly electrician I have ever encountered. all repairs were done professionally and timely. Recently moved here and needed some ceiling fans installed, found Sergeants online and decided to call them because of their great reviews and also noticed an owner response to all the reviews which is a rarity nowadays. Called on a Saturday( sorry forgot who I spoke with) to schedule an appointment for Monday and was told I would receive a call Monday when the electrician was a half hour away. On Monday Amanda called to let me know Kieth was on his way. The electricians who responded to our call were Sgt. Nicely and Adam Cass and they were so professional, knowledgeable and respectful and I fully recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.We wanted to install a new front porch fixture in time for Veterans Day to show our support and appreciation to all Veterans and their families by displaying a green light. Although other electricians in town did their best to accommodate our late call, Sergeants was the only one that was able to do it before, or on Veterans Day.There were several calls back and forth to the office with the scheduling ladies because they had a cancellation that would have allowed the electricians to come earlier, but I wasnt available. Breanna and Amanda stand out as being particularly helpful and very kind.Although I only called for one issue (the front lantern) the gentlemen asked if there was anything else that needed attention. That is such a rarity today with service professional. Usually, as soon as a job is finished they are out the door and I hesitate to ask any questions but Sgt. Nicely and Adam were just the opposite. They took the time to listen to our concerns and performed two other jobs while they were here. I have already recommended them to our neighbors with my full support.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Sgt. Nicely from Sergeants Electric yesterday. He came out to give me a quote for a panel bypass for my portable generator in case of a power outage. After he determined what my generator could handle, he took the time to look at what I absolutely needed to run if I did indeed lose power. He explained all my options and did not try to persuade me any way. After he completed the job, he explained everything, answered all my questions and then we performed a test with the generator to make sure it worked and I was comfortable. Great experience and would definitely recommend them.

Highly recommend! Robbie J had his work cut out for him as we were having multiple electrical issues in every room of the house. Robbie spent his time going over everything until he isolated the problem. He was able to get every issue resolved, and even went above and beyond our expectations. I had an *excellent* experience with Sergeants Electric and their lead-tech, Nick. I had extensive work done including: replacement of the entire outdoor service (box, meter, etc); replacement of outlets and switches throughout the home; replacement of damaged wiring in the attic; installation of a high-voltage outlet in the carport to charge an RV; and several smaller projects such as connecting a water heater and installing an electric box for a ceiling fan. The work was performed thoroughly, diligently and to the highest standard. The techs were efficient, personable and incredibly professional. A high military standard was present in all of the interactions.I have found it *extremely* difficult to find fair, competent, honest, professional contractors in Charlotte County for virtually every service I have sought (and still seek!). I wish all companies offered this quality...or that Sergeants would expand its business offerings to more trades!I would hire them in an instant!Thank you for the service.

I got half way through a fan installation and discovered the prior owner’s wiring looked off. Sargeant’s sent Nick Nicely, who diagnosed the decidedly not to code problem the wiring, fixed it at the switch and fan, hung another fan for me and discovered and fixed more dangerously not to code work, then checked the rest of my fans, fixing one additional switch that was not as it should be. Great work, and he also left the areas he worked spotless.
