March 31st of this year we had a hail storm. The Gean Roofing crew helped me through the insurance process, which is not always easy. I originally figured that we would just get the shingles replaced and we wouldn’t have to worry about a roof for some time to come. I am here to tell that the final product is outstanding! I never thought that a roof product would actually “stand out”. This one definitely looks amazing and we are more than satisfied with how it turned out. We highly recommend the Gean Roofing crew!

Recommendation for Gean RoofingThe work by Gean Roofing stands out – the project was performed on time and within the budget.The team re shingled the roof of our 26 year old home and we are pleased with the experience.We have lived 9 years in our home. During that time we had minor issues with the roof. So when we set out to consider new shingles for the house there was nothing to be fixed and no pressure.Therefore we were fortunate to approach this project knowing that it needed to be done at some point in time, yet not immediately required.Anticipating that the savings account dedicated for home expenses would not cover the cost we established a home equity line of credit. Financing was secured in spring of 2020.One key step was to simply ask two of our neighbors for referrals. In fall of 2021, we solicited proposals from 4 different companies. One local builder - general contractor, two locally owned roofing companies and one large regional specialist.We contacted Gean roofing, met with Rod Anderson a couple of times and a brief introduction to Jason Gean. Comparing the numbers in the 4 different proposals was easy. Gean was neither on top or bottom of the quotes.We selected Gean roofing based on our impression of their sincerity, dependability and competence to perform the work. Jason Gean knew exactly what documents and codes the insurance company needed for roofing estimates. He found an adjuster error that was not to Indiana’s code and work with insurance company to correct. His team, lead by a Project Manager, were timely, worked diligently to remove the old roof, inspected and made any necessary repairs before applying shingles, and installed a quality roof and gutters. There was no issues with the project once finished and everything was cleaned up when completed. My mom contracted Gean roofing in April to replace the roof over part of her house. It took longer than anticipated for the job to get started and the delays were not well communicated early on. I put a call in to Jason and requested that he improve the communication. Communication was great after that, including pictures of the progress. My mom was very pleased with the work that was done and the crew that did it. The crew cleaned up and left things better than they found them.I highly recommend this company!!

We found out we were in need of a new roof. The 1st contractor we met with, sounded good and was very knowledgeable. Our roof still had some years left on the warranty and we felt like he was the guy we’d go with. We talked price and he said he’d have a quote within the week we never got anything. we needed pictures sent to Owens Corning he scheduled a time and never showed up or returned phone calls.Thankfully our next quote was from geans roofing. Jason came did a thorough inspection. Jason contacted Owens for us and has been a great help in dealing with them. Geans work crew was timely and has great workmanship. They installed 3 new skylights, roof vents and the roof. There clean up was amazing. The last day they did a great job of picking up and we were totally surprised when they showed up the following day for another nail walk through.We are so pleased with this company. Our five star rating for Gean Roofing is based on the professionalism of the sales approach, which consisted of a review of available options and an honest acceptance of what we could afford. The scheduling process was easy and efficient prior to the installation. The installers were very hard working individuals, who arrived on time, and completed their work in a timely manner. A supervisor was on site during the installation to coordinate the work flow and answer any questions that might occur during the process. This was a major factor in our selection of this company. The cleanup was thorough and was reviewed by a second supervisor, along with a checklist of the completed work. Gean Roofing may not be the least expensive, but they definitely give you value for your money. They have a definite system in place designed to achieve customer satisfaction. Hire them! Gean Roofing did an exceptional job on our new roof. After our intial consultation, we were put on the schedule within a week. When the team started working they did the entire roof (tear off included) in only one day. It was so nice not having to live in a construction zone for a long period of time. After having three companies come out and evaluate our roof, we decided to get one last estimate and contacted Gean Roofing. The other companies only discussed replacing the roof. Gean Roofing came out and said the roof is in overall good condition, and we could hold off on replacement for a year or two. There was a small leak that was repaired, as well as hammering some shifting shingles back into place. It is refreshing to find a company that is honest and willing to help potential customers. Well definitely be calling Gean Roofing when were ready for replacement.

Last fall we paid a jack of all trades, masters of none company to complete a new roof (first mistake). I noticed that there were issues and the previous contractor attributed them to me being too picky. After seeing the commercial for Gean Roofing we called them to give us an estimate on repairing our less than 1 year old roof. Unfortunately for us , it will be cheaper to have the entire roof replaced than to fix what was done wrong. We will most certainly be using Gean Roofing for this project! They have been nothing but professional and friendly through this process! Jeremy came out to give us our estimate and was great at showing us where the issues were and taking the time to explain how it should have been completed in the first place! He was patient with me asking a million questions and answered each of them honestly. I would highly recommend starting with Gean Roofing and saving the headache of needing them to fix what the other guys did wrong.

I had Gean roofing replace a very tired and worn out roof on a rental property. They were very upfront and honest (I was previously ripped off by another roofing contractor). They came out took a look at the roof. Explained how bad it could turn out to be. We agreed to move forward. They communicated with me often on the schedule. On 12-10-2015 I had a rubber roof replaced by Gene roofing they charge a high price for replacement.this summer I had to clean the siding and found they had removed the j channel and siding to install the rubber roof up under the siding. They did not put the j channel back on or nail the siding back, they did face nail it in one spot. I contacted them and a person came out the week of Aug 16 2017, he look at it and said they would be back next week to repair siding.They never returned or called back. I called them back and received a busy signal twice. There owner Jason Gene was out today to make this right he did so to my satisfaction.

I thought I had a roof leak around a vent pipe. They came out and inspected my roof. They could of told me I needed a repair but they were very honest. The roof around the pipe was in good shape and they even inspected other parts of the roof, all in good shape. . He believes it could be an inside issue with the pipe. I was very Iimpressed with their honesty.He will be out later, my choice due to quarantine to crawl in the attic to see if it is the pipe or something else.I would recommend to anyone.

Just had a new roof put on by Gean. Had a great experience from the beginning to end. Jeremy came out for our estimate and was down to earth, straight forward, and he never pressured us. The crew showed up when they said they would and even had the roof completed before the estimated completion date. Kurtis was there to make sure the experience was everything we wanted and went above and beyond. Great job fellas. I have already recommended you to several of my friends.

Gean Roofing was hired to take care of my employers two-story corporate office building roof, along with the roof over our showroom. Everything had to be removed on both buildings, and new decking installed over showroom. The showroom roof was particularly challenging - it had been leaking for over 20 years and no repair worked. Jason proposed a different product over the problem area (not a visible area). There are three different buildings joining this one section which is not ideal. The Gean Roofing crew handled it all, quickly and efficiently. It was a huge job. The service, communication, and clean-up was phenomenal! Five or six large containers of old material were hauled off, and they spent extra time to make sure nothing was left behind. Job well done!!

Gean Roofing delivers on their promise. Last summer I had a leak from my 19 year old roof. Gean Roofing said my roof was in good shape and justed needed repair, which is what they did. This June we had hail damage that required a new roof. Gean Roofing did my new roof and did an excellent job. They were efficient, polite and cleaned up after the job. I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

I am having some problems with ice dams due to shoddy work from when the current roof was installed back before we owned the house. Jason came out and was extremely honest with the options to fix it vs eventually replacing the whole roof due to his age. He explained the problems clearly (illustrated with pictures!) and listened very carefully to my concerns. We have not yet decided whether to move forward with the work now vs in a few years when the entire roof will be due, and Jason was not at all pushy about this. When we decide to proceed I will post or update this review to comment on what I expect will be excellent work!

We just had Jason from Gean Roofing come evaluate our roofing issue. We have not had work done by them. In terms of his inpspection, he was on time and very generous with his expertise. Even though the news wasnt great there was no drama, no pressure like weve had with other contractors in the past to commit to a fix today. Jason gave us options based on what he himself would do and was empathetic to the situation. Our experience with them matched other reviews we read about Gean Roofing. Wed definitely consider going back to Gean Roofing to have work done. It certainly cannot hurt to have them come give your roof an inspection.
