    This project was perfect! From start to finish - prompt return phone call, scheduled in 48 hours, finished in 6.5 hours. Felipe arrived at 8am, after discussing what needed to be done he was off to get materials. Upon return, the man dug in straight away and never stopped!!! The railings are exactly what I wanted, the workmanship is first rate, the yard was immaculate. I couldn’t be happier with the results!!Update: After approx 1 month, one of the railings had started to wiggle a bit. I called Ace and asked about warranty and if someone could look at it. I was assured the work was still under warranty and had a service call scheduled for Tuesday. (All of this interaction was happening on a Saturday. I received an after hours auto reply which was immediately followed up with a live person text on the weekend! Impressive!!) Manny arrived and had the problem identified and corrected in 15 minutes!! I continue to be completely satisfied with Ace! Will definitely use them again!!

He’s also great to work with!Faced with a decayed base on our 30+ year old garden window, Manny completely removed the rotted plywood base and replaced it with trex-like composite (lifetime warranty) which he cut to fit perfectly.I’m delighted to have Ace Handyman on my iPhone home screen.

    I searched for a very long time to find anyone willing to show up and complete the repair of a rotted wood gutter over the entrance of my home. Since my house is in a historic neighborhood, I wanted to stay with the original wood material. Philippe showed up right on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly at first impression. His work is impeccable and the finished product was beyond my expectations and was completed in less than the estimated time.     I was very fortunate to have Manny complete a shower insert job. He is an exceptional, hardworking professional.     Ruben was awesome. He did a fabulous job replacing shutters on our 2nd story cape and rebuilt a wooden gate so that it looked like new! He was on time, dodged a wasp nest under one of the shutters and cleaned everything up after so it looked like hed never been there! We will definitely use Ace Handyman services again!

    Super happy I gave Ace handyman Services of North Kingstown a try.     Ok first of all Juan was on time this morning. He did a full removal and install of a shower and tub in 8 hours. Not only did he do a great job, he was friendly, efficient and explained everything to us in full detail. I recently was ripped off using the thumbtack app by a handyman. This was the exact opposite. You might find cheaper but not better. This is a reputable company with a license and insurance. Don’t let others take your money and run. Call these people. Tammy who I spoke to on the phone was very nice and scheduled this job within a day. Will be using them again.A+++++

    I am a frequent flyer with Ace Handyman Services. They are so competent and get so much done in just a little time. Todays job was small. I had an outdoor table to assemble and anchor to a wall. Paul did a fast and quality job. He also drilled holes in some of our flower pots. I already know what my next job for Ace will be. You will be pleased at the ability of the handymen (so far I have not encountered a handywoman at Ace).

    Filipe did another amazing job for me. I now have a beautiful tile floor in the basement! This job was really challenging as there was an old floor and subfloor that needed to be removed first due to some water issues. The old flooring was removed, disposed of, and the basement was cleaned well. Then the new tile install was done very well. I am so happy. It is so much nicer and looks really wonderful.

    Paul very carefully centered and hung a stained glass window that was very special to us.He then went on to install a canoe hoist in our finished garage. He was again very careful about placement and functionality and made a point of making sure we know how to use it before he left.He arrived on time and cleaned up after himself. Very pleasant and professional personality, too.Will definitely be calling Ace Handyman again as a starting point for work we need done.

    I dont usually leave reviews but Filipe Baptista from Ace Handyman Services did a great job doing a few small jobs for me. He fixed my slider, installed a new door handle on my front door and fixed the drain in one of my bathroom sinks. Next time I need some jobs around the house done I definitely will be calling Ace Handyman Services and requesting Filipe.

    Very satisfied and highly recommend. Manny A. installed 4 full extension shelves in my base cabinets, dealt quickly with a fit problem due to an electrical box + transformer at the rear of the cabinet. Adjusted the water temp (which was low) on my shower upstairs. Hardworking guy, did not waste any time and quite knowledgable. Im having him back soon for a few other things that have needed doing for a while. I have two replacement knees and hips, it is a huge relief to find someone who can do what I once would have done, and do it right.

    Doing a complete renovation of my 1st floor bathroom and have been disappointed at the lack of response Ive had when calling trades people. I came across Ace Handyman Services while doing an internet search and I am so glad I did!The lady who answered the phone was helpful and polite, listened to my to-do list, and scheduled Ruben to come out to my house within two weeks of my calling. He was here most of today, replacing broken electrical switches, swapping out old bathroom exhaust fans for new ones, replacing old lights with new ones, and hanging some tricky mirrors as well as installing new towel bars and a new window shade. He accomplished everything on the list and did it well! He arrived exactly when I was told he would, was personable and polite, and had a positive attitude when faced with a couple of unexpected challenges, which he handled beautifully. He also was very respectful of my house and property and cleaned up after himself, which was much appreciated. I am so grateful to have had this experience and will be calling you again.     At the end of June, we had 23 new windows installed at our house. Each had 3 pieces of wood, (one at the top and both sides), as part of the fitting process. These 3 pieces needed a coat of stain and a coat of polyurethane. We contacted several painters. Each had waiting lists, most citing October. I searched online for help and luckily found Ace Handyman Services! As I read their website, I saw a list of the services they provided, not only painting, but many others, too. I called and spoke to Tammy who was so personable and reassuring. I explained to her our window painting project and all the other jobs we needed done: a clogged bathtub drain, new shower head install, new bulbs in a bathroom fan, curtain hardware changed in 3 rooms and new drapes hung, new wall decor hung, 3 pieces of furniture put together, outside trim replaced and painted on patio door, and touch up paint on trim of garage. Tammy did not give me a date of way off in the future, she gave me a mere 2 weeks and assigned us Handyman Richard. Richard was a joy to work with! So friendly, professional, and respectful. He is very skilled and provided exceptional service. He worked quickly and neatly. He listened to my concerns and came up with solutions to solve everything. I am beyond pleased with the results! Having exceeded all my expectations, I would not hesitate to use Ace Handyman Services and Richard again. As every homeowner knows, there is always something that needs fixing or maintaining, so I look forward to working with them again. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much!

    Needed a bunch of deck repairs for our condo building, plus some bick work and fence gate repairs done. Sent an inquiry and got a call back in less than two days and they were able to send out a guy in the next two days. The carpenter came prompt and early.     We had a smoke/fire alarm chirping because of a low battery. Unfortunately it was the one at the top of a staircase that required a taller ladder to get to than what i own. I called Ace Handyman and they responded within a couple of hours and replaced the battery. It wasn’t a big job or complex but it had to get done because the chirping alarm was driving our dog nuts. They were very professional and friendly and thankfully got the job done quickly. I would call on them again.

    We were in the middle of a kitchen facelift when our contractor bailed on us mid-job after stalling for six weeks. Tammy greeted our issue with a, “we can definitely help” attitude. She asked for pictures and then said she could have a craftsman to our home the next Monday. Gave us a “no-surprises” estimate and put our kitchen in the hands of Filipe, who is nothing short of a master carpenter/craftsman. He completed the job slightly ahead of schedule. He kept the area neat and is incredibly courteous. He also has a terrific attitude and is respectful and very personable, which a pleasant surprise after the debacle we had been through. We were blessed to have been provided with such a talented worker. We had no idea Ace Hardware provided this and we’re beyond grateful that they do. We cannot recommend them enough!

He did, surprisingly quickly, and it looks great -- except for some parts the other contractor messed up. This actually went better than I expected!

    Felipe was super friendly and professional. He really knows his stuff. He installed two grab bars in the bath. And also a pretty wooden hand rail in the garage. Good carpentry skills! He also went above and beyond by lifting a granite slab onto a breakfast nook countertop. More than I expected! Thank you Felipe!

    Ace Handyman is terrific! They remodeled my kitchen and 2 bathrooms in a much shorter time than others estimated. Paulo, the craftsman, did it all! He was very professional and responsive. His work is beautifully done and he does it with a smile! Im very happy with my new rooms!

    Eduordo replaced 2 doors and rebuilt a flight of stairs. I have an older house and he had to make a few mods to make the new doors work. Quality job, punctual and within the estimate. Saved me at least $1000 on the door alone based on as estimate I got from a big box home store. Handyman Matters doesnt try to upsell you on anything, they do the work you need at a reasonable price. Ill be calling them again.
