    Best contractor we have hired for the last 25+ years as home owners. Dave educated us: told us what was important, what was nice to have but not essential and more importantly why. He communicated with us when issues came up and helped us find solutions. Their work crew worked very hard, even working on a Saturday to get the job done in a timely manner. They will be our first choice when we need to hire someone again.

    We just had Sam Karam & Sons replace the shingle roof on our home in South Dartmouth . Our experience with Andre Karam was excellent and the workmanship was outstanding. His crew are some hardest working men Ive encountered. I was impressed that they completed the job in just two days, for it was a large roof with many dormers and angles. When I walked around the house I couldnt find a single nail or scrap of debris. Truly Meticulous!

    I have to say that Sam Karam has got to be one of the best contractors I’ve worked with. They did amazing work, they even got the thumbs up from my previous contractor Who no longer does that kind of work. The material they use is five star, the work they do is five star, and even the sales people and office people are five star. No matter what I needed. They listen to what I had to say, they were very understanding with any requests that I had. And I can’t say enough good things about them. I highly recommend. If you want good work done with good materials and good workers, definitely call Sam Karam!!

    Sam Karam and Sons installed a new roof and gutters. They were reasonably priced and the work was outstanding. The crew was professional, courteous and skilled. The entire job took only two days, including a new flat roof which was meticulously sloped to ensure drainage. Cleanup was very thorough and was done as the work progressed, I feel fortunate to have found a go-to contractor I can trust, and will be using them for additional work, including new siding.     Excellent workmanship... replaced roof, reflashed chimney, replaced any bad boards, and importantly, cleaned/ picked up every nail left on ground, street,and driveway.Also had prep and follow up to insure this job with a 10/12 pitch was done correctly to the scope written, having worked myself on a few roofs.Great 25 yr. workmanship warranty with 50 yr non -pro rated Certainteed shingle warranty.

    Sam Karam & Sons recently replaced almost 2 sides of siding( James Hardie fiber cement siding) of my house, reconstructed the roof over the bulkhead to improve rain water evacuation and replaced leaky gutters on the front porch. Their offer was fair in comparison to others. From beginning to end the work was performed in a timely and very well organized manner. The crews were respectful towards property and responsive to my requests. From dropping the garbage container and protecting the pavement of my driveway to cleaning at the end of each work day , to carefully painting each plank at the side that was cut according to the manufacturer specifications, they did an awesome job. Mr. Dave Hebert with whom everything was coordinated was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Will definitely use this company again for future projects.

    I cannot recommend Sam Karam & Sons highly enough. They are extremely professional and thorough from start to finish. David Hebert listens carefully, asking questions to help the client think through all possible scenarios to ensure that the end result will be just what you want. We reworked the estimates over several weeks to eliminate any unnecessary extras while retaining the main focus of the project. I greatly appreciated David’s attention to detail. We went to suppliers to compare products and he explained thoroughly why they recommended one over another. They use only the best materials and do not cut corners.The architectural design phase was also helpful, as it provided an opportunity to reassess what aspects of the original scope were essential, what might be less so, and make adjustments accordingly. Their flexibility while adhering to best practices/industry standards made them perfect planning partners.When they encountered something unanticipated (eg wood rot on the sill after removing the old deck; a broken concrete base for the deck stairs; a major design change) they consulted one another along with me to address the problem thoroughly before proceeding. Their crew is incredibly hard-working, cleaning up completely at the end of each day which often starts first thing in the morning and ends around 7 at night. The crew, to a man, is respectful and accommodating.The work was completed in a timely manner, despite shortages in supplies and delivery issues due to Covid; and well within budget.From many decades of working with builders, I can unequivocally state that they go above and beyond. I have never worked with a finer group. It is my pleasure to recommend Sam Karam & Sons without reservation.

    I employed Karam contractors on multiple occasions over the past few years to perform various projects on a 220+ year old house in South Dartmouth MA. Replaced two roofs (house and detached garage), a dozen windows and loads of rotting trim. Andre Karam is prompt, responsive and professional always. Their pricing is lower than that of many other contractors in the area. For example, one contractor quoted me $70,000 to perform a project that Karam did for $25,000. The work is completed in a timely manner and on schedule.The craftsmanship is adequate. I had a minor issue with one roof approx. 1-2 months after it was completed and contacted Andre. He was at the house and up on the roof within hours to fix the issue. Impressive response to a problem, as you would expect from a family-owned business.

    I had used Andre and his crew for a chimney modification in early 2020, and was satisfied with the quality of their work. This year, I contacted them again to do some exterior work, installing new gutters, rakes, crown molding, facia and aprons.Andre was upfront with his pricing, professional in his interactions, and timely with his deliverables. He was able to explain what was needed and why as well as answer any and all questions we had for him.I would recommend Andre and his team for both interior and exterior work. They get the job done quickly (one day for the chimney and one day and one morning for the exterior work) and efficiently. His pricing was very reasonable and was well within the same ballpark as the competitors who also submitted bids for the job.

    I had some roof and gutter damage due to a down tree. My neighbor suggested I reach out to Sam Karem & Sons. Thank You Mr. Rego. I left a message and they got back to me immediately. I had a quote the next day, which was more than fair (I never even tried to get a quote from another company because I felt it was very reasonable) They called me back to make sure I got the quote and we set a time for the very next day, which was today. Needless to say my roof and gutter are fixed and look amazing. The contractors were so nice, they did a great job and cleaned up everything. I will definitely be reaching back out to them for more work that I need done. Strongly suggest this contractor.
