    Ayann and Liam were awesome. They worked well together and tackled several unexpected issues that arose (eg. where to pull power from, ceiling joists in the way, etc.). I appreciated them keeping me appraised of the issues and projects steps along the way. They arrived on time and cleaned up before leaving. Mid project, they insured that the house power was usable and safe until they returned the next day.

    I have used Kuhlman Electric now twice, once to have my electrical panel updated and again to hang a chandelier Derek Cook and Robert Cantwell were very respectful of my home. They covered the floors while working, picked up after the job was completed and did a great job hanging my chandelier ! I would definitely recommend.

    Iā€™m impressed with Electricians Ayann Alimagno and Liam OConnor. They did a great job for us, and Iā€™m sure theyā€™d do a great job for you too. Their work is impeccable. The quality is outstanding. Accept for the improvements to our lives, you canā€™t tell they were here.They wired us up our home for many things, including a Portable whole house Emergency Generator Hook Up, a Hot Tub, and a whole house Surge Protector.In the garage, they ran a 220 Electrical Panel, installed wiring for a MiniSplit and installed 4 Recessed Lights in the Storage Loft and 13 Recessed Lights in the lower section. They also added a Sure Protector to protect our garage and gazebo. If we ever need more electrical work, I would gladly welcome them back. I wonā€™t hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

    I had a circuit breaker issue pop up right before Christmas. Kuhlman was able to send technicians over within just a few days. Ayann and Liam arrived early, which was great, and they notified me ahead of time. They assessed the issue quickly, checked all of my outlets, and explained the issue very clearly. They replaced my breakers and were done in less than an hour. Great quality of service, great customer experience, I will use them again for any future electrical needs.

    Our third experience with Kuhlman, and we remain happy customers. Derek and Bobby were as knowledgeable, friendly and considerate as every other member of the team we have had the pleasure of working with. They treat your home to same as they would treat their own - mindful of the carpet, clean up any debris/mess from the work performed, etc. Derek and Bobby took the time to walk us through the work (installing a generator hookup) and explain what we should consider when selecting a generator. Just an all around excellent experience from start to finish - quoting to scheduling to inspection by the town to close the permits. The office keeps you updated on scheduling via text which is super convenient. We love Kuhlman, and we would recommend them to anyone.

    Had a couple outlets that hadnā€™t worked in a few months. I heard a commercial for kuhlman electric on the radio and figured Iā€™d give them a try. It turned out to be an excellent experience. Justin was great. He explained what he was doing and was very helpful and professional. I will definitely be calling again for another project that needs attention.

    Recently I had a pleasant surprise. Two young electricians from Kuhlman Electric (Justin Kerrigan and Warren Harding) came to install my Tesla Wall Charger.I was very pleased with their work and their professional attitude. They arrived on time; they introduced themselves and then went about their work. Midway through the installation, Justin the senior electrician suggested instead of putting the wall charger on the right-hand side of the garage they put it on the left-hand side. That turned out to be a better location and it has worked out nicely for me.I am very happy with the work done by Kuhlman. In the future, I will recommend Kuhlman to anyone that needs electrical work done. Incidentally, my wifeā€™s first cousin, Christine recommended Kuhlman to me. Also, Iā€™m very happy to be able to identify the superior work of both Justin Kerrigan and Warren Harding. They are a credit to Kuhlman Electric. They are keepers.

    I had reached out to many companies for generator install service. The information and pricing from Kuhlman electric was what made me most comfortable. Chris was amazing every step of the way and I cant thank him enough. Im a woman navigating this process independently which is daunting but Chris had made it easy. He always checked in to explain the process and was readily available to answer all questions. Derek and Bobby were super respectful of my property and were nothing short of the epitome of professionalism. Even when I had to add site work to be done Kuhlman Electric was responsive and the guys they sent out, John and his his brother were so great! I cannot recommend Kuhlman enough!!Add: when I needed services for another small project Jeff and Seamus were here when I needed them.     Justin, Jeff and Seamus handled the install of our whole home generator like pros. They were on time and left the job super clean. We truly appreciated their patience with all our questions and the install went seamless. Chris, the Division Manager came out after the gas hook up to finalize everything and even assisted with the wifi setup. We would definitely hire Kuhlman Electric again; cant say enough good things about their work and customer service.

    We had lots of old knob and tube wiring replaced. It was a tough and dirty job! But, I cant say enough positive things about our Kuhlman experience. Super professional and easy to work with from start to finish. Our electricians, Liam OConnor and Ayann Alimagno, were amazing! So focused on their work, very friendly, answered every question and left the spaces cleaner than how they found them. Perhaps most importantly they were super nice to our dog, who was very sad to see them go.

    We have a 100-year-old Craftsman bungalow and chose Kuhlman Electric to replace the knob-and-tube wiring in the ceiling lights, wall switches and outlets, as well as all the cabling leading back to the cellar box. Justin Kerrigan and Warren Harding did a great job! They helped us understand the process, answered our questions, and made some great suggestions for minor changes as the work progressed. They minimized any necessary holes in the plaster & lath walls and ceilings, rough-patched them smooth so that theyre ready to sand and repaint, and meticulously cleaned all the work areas. The house is completely clear of any visible knob-and-tube, the area around the main electrical distribution box is neatly organized and labeled, and all of the debris was removed. We would not hesitate to hire Kuhlman again and recommend them to anyone looking for knob-and-tube remediation.

    We enthusiastically recommend Kuhlmanā€™s Electric! Mr. Jeff dā€™Entremont and Mr. Seamus Lowney did a huge electrical job in our home during the month of May, 2024. We are extremely pleased with their professionalism. The bulk of the work was the removal of the knob and tube wiring from our old colonial house (built in 1777). We also had some additional work completed; including installation of a bathroom fan, kitchen undercabinet lighting, sconces, switches, outlets, GFCI switches, panel upgrade and circuit breaker replacements. This work took place almost every day during the month of May, 2024. Jeff and Seamus arrived on time, and worked tirelessly each day.Jeff brought strong leadership to the project, providing competent daily direction while bringing the project to completion in a timely manner. The age of the house presented some challenges and Jeff used his creativity and technical knowledge to come up with suitable solutions to achieve the desired outcome. He consistently communicated with us achieving mutual agreement on how to proceed. There were ā€œno surprises.ā€Seamus installed the ā€œhardest switch of his life.ā€ He had to finesse a snake line into 247-year-old wide, original, pine floor boards, to drop a chandelier light into our dining room. Remarkable!We were pleased with Richard, who thoroughly specked out the job and provided the personal touch. Chris, the supervisor in charge of the job, demonstrated strong technical and team building skills as he supported the crew during his periodic check-ins. We appreciated the point of contact with Chris as the job progressed.The administrative billing and scheduling were flawless. Communication all around was excellent. We plan to hire Kuhlmanā€™s for all our future electrical needs.

    Everyone I met a Kuhlman Electric was fantastic. Very professional and smart. We were renovating our basement and we had old BX wiring running in numerous tracks across the ceiling and they were brilliant in re-rerouting that wiring to the sidelines so we could do a sheet rock ceiling rather than a drop ceiling which was our preference. They also upgraded us to 200 amps and a new electrical box with lots of room for expansion.

    Richard and Robert came on time and took about 2-3 hours to get my Tesla Wall Connector installed. Very nice job. Didnā€™t do much changing in my garage. They cleaned up everything when they finished. Also reminded me of keeping the special tools which are needed to uninstall the charger in good place. Iā€™ve been using my charger for 2 weeks already. All good. Very good experience with them. Recommended.

    We hired Kuhlman to install an inlet plug for a new portable generator, an alarm for when the power was restored, and a whole house surge protector. Electricians Derek cook and Robert Cantwell were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. They completed the work in a timely manner and carefully cleaned up. They were also very helpful in explaining exactly what they did and how to transition the electrical box from street power to generator power. Kuhlman Electric will definitely be my first call the next time I need electrical work.

    A light fixture stopped working and I worried it was my electric panel. Carrie & Jen were able to dispatch Justin later that day. Justin confirmed my panel was fine and fixed the issue with the fixture wiring. He was also able to do some additional work on my electric panel since he was already there.Justin was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, meaning we were able to accomplish a lot in only 2 hours, meaning everything got done for a reasonable price.     Richard Delprato and Robert Cantwell worked on our electrical problems for 2 days last week. We had squirrels who got into the attic and chewed wires. First, they had to replace wires. In the front entry and living room 9 lights were out, along with 4 lights in the master bedroom, 2 outside lights, and the light in the attic. I was overwhelmed just thinking about the job. First, Richard and Bobby went up in the attic, through the first floor and the outside to see what they had to do. I was relieved to hear that both of them had worked on these types of problems. I asked a few questions and they went to work. What I appreciated was the updates they gave as they made progress. At the end of the first day they vacuumed and cleaned up.Richard and Bobby arrived on time the second day. They both worked steadily on the outside pole light and finished in a couple of hours. Again they explained what they did to get the light working. These two men are experienced electricians who know how to treat customers. I would recommend the both of them without hesitation.     I cannot say enough good things about Richard. Alex and Bobby.I had to replace the knob and tube in my house which was a pretty big job. They were at my house for three weeks. They were on time everyday, respectful of our living space and pets, thorough, kept me updated every step of the way, went over and above through the whole process.Cleaned when they left, sometimes cleaner than they found it. And to top it off, I had added some items that were not part of the proposal and between the credits I had for things I did not do and things I did do the final bill was under $200 more than originally quoted.     Jeff and Justin were awesome. I had installed two identical ceiling fans in my bedroom months earlier. One worked and the other didnt. Frustrating. I called my usual electrician - no response. Emailed and texted - no response. Recently I heard an ad for Kuhlman on WBZ 1030 and decided to call them. Jeff and Justin were here within a week. Both were very personable. Apparently they had electrical skills as well as people skills, because they had diagnosed and repaired the problem - I had made one wrong connection - in a half hour. Ive just changed electricians.

    On a recent job, Kuhlman electrician Richard D wired a batch feed garbage disposal. The job was made more complicated due to some confusing instructions provided by the manufacturer. However Richard persisted and was able to get the disposal working. Much credit goes to him for his persistence and good nature through it all.On another job Kuhlman Electric provided me with a competitive quote for 200 amp service upgrade, ev charger installation, outside motion detector, bathroom light/fan installation and gfci outlets. From start to finish the office staff and crew were very responsive and helpful with all aspects of the project.Given the age and construction of the house, there were a number of challenges that had be addressed. Chris, the manager, came up with great suggestions and cost saving ideas that other companies overlooked. And Justin and his crew carried out the work with professionalism, efficiency and neatness.     Iā€™ve worked with many contractors in the past for several projects at my home. My experience with Kuhlman has been one Iā€™ve never experienced before when working with a contractor.I had someone come provide an estimate the same day I called since he happened to be in my area. He walked me through all the options available and set very clear expectations for the project. I received an electronic version of the estimate via email in a professional format that was easy to read and understand that same night. Once I accepted the estimate, I was able to leave a 50% deposit electronically using Apple Pay right from the invoice. I received a call from Kerri to schedule my project and she was able to get the installers out in less than 2 days! After we ended the call, I then received a detailed email including a welcome letter that outlined everything I should expect for the project from payment scheduling, change orders, patch work etc.The installers came out and were extremely professional and clean. They gave me an estimate for how long they thought they would be here, and finished within minutes of that estimate. The house was left in the same condition they found it and couldnā€™t be happier with the work. They then came back full circle and reached out to me as the customer to get my feedback on the service.Itā€™s rare to find a contractor that is so well organized across all departments (sales ā€”> adminā€”> install ā€”> feedback). Justin, the lead on a rewire of my very old and elegant 3500 sq ft house, is a treasure--- an enlightened teacher, a skilled craftsman, a poised and adaptable planner, and an exceptionally dependable person. Seamus, his apprentice, is following in his footsteps. I have had many experiences as my own general contractor and I have never encountered a company as thorough, careful, and client-oriented as Kuhlman.     Kuhlman did a fantastic job installing a level 2 EV charger in my garage. They were timely with regards to sending out an electrician to generate a quote to scheduling the install to actually doing the install. As an aside, depending on your needs and current electrical setup you may not need to do a full panel upgrade to accommodate an EV charger but not all electricians educate you about that. Kuhlman did so kudos to them. I have a power management system that was installed by Ayann and Nick. Guys showed up on time, did a great job laying out the cable in a very neat and organized way. I can deliver up to 40A to the car which is amazing. They even finished 15 mins earlier than anticipated and made sure the charger worked before leaving. If I ever need any future electrical work, Iā€™m reaching out to Kuhlman. I was not paid to leave a review.

Suddenly a section of my house lost power last night and I called Kuhlman this morning. I was totally surprised by the knowledge and professionalism of Carey who picked up the phone. She tried to do troubleshooting for me over the phone and then arranged for an appointment the same day. Chris Trites showed up right on time and got the problem addressed in no time. He went over and above than what is needed . At the end, he brought in a mop and cleaned the place and made sure everything is put back.     Weve used Kuhlman twice now, and are always very happy with their work. They arrive promptly, work efficiently, and perform excellent work. They also communicate well as to exactly what theyre doing / did.One particular example that we were very happy with was when our fire alarm interconnect was not working properly throughout the house. Apparently in past renovations the line was cut somewhere, long since buried somewhere in the ceiling. Kuhlamns electricians were able to quickly find the location of the break and repair it, leaving very little evidence that they needed to rewire something through the wall/ceiling.Would recommend them unconditionally and plan on using them again for any electrical needs we have.

    Both the technicians came in time. Estimator had given them a location outside my garage to install wall charger which I never asked for. I let these techs know that I want charger inside the garage close to charging port of the car. They agreed and did exactly that, although it was little tricky to get to circuit breaker from there. He went through the HVAC system to troubleshoot the problem. Found that there was a blown fuse on the relay board and changed it. Problem solved, or so we thought.     I have used Kuhlman Electric for several years and cannot say enough good things about them. I used them to set up a Ring system, electric baseboard heating and wiring. Recently i had outdoor lights installed. Everything perfect. Their team members are highly professional and are excellent. Recently Mr. Chris Trites came out to set up a Ring camera and spotlight. He diagnosed my issue, replaced the unit and did a thorough inspection of our property for a future landscape lighting project. His years of experience were invaluable in guiding me to options. I am very grateful to know that my elecrical needs are in good hands such as Mr. Trites. I also had outdoor lighting installed as well as baseboard electrical heating. All done perfectly. On our most recent job, our electricians were Ayann Alimagno and Liam OConnor who were outstanding.

    This is the second time I do work with Kuhlman Electric - Billerica/North sectors. First time was multiple days, Knot and Tube removals. This time, a two trip to unhang/rehang electric panel for basement wall work.In both cases - quote, refunds for electric points not needed, scheduling, interaction, punctuality of the crew, quality of the work, day to day updates and next day planning, kindness and easy interaction with the crew... just a top no worry experience.
