Cherkas Home Improvement always sends excellent tradesmen and women. You can try to get cheaper labor but as they say in Spanish, lo barato sale caro-- cheap work ends up costing you.Phil has a wonderful reliable team--he even found someone to replace my old window cords and weights in my 100 year old house.The painting jobs are always first class. And I have been having Jay Bird come every year to trim the trumpet vine off my roof---which mattered to my new home insurance company! Anything I cant do myself, will be done by Cherkas Home Improvement. Your house will thank you!

As a landscape contractor, my clients often ask me if I know a good company that does home repairs. Jay is a top notch nice guy and excellent carpenter. Steve Cherkas was a pleasure to deal with. Replaced boards on our deck, repaired water damaged wall. All great work.

I’ve been very happy working with Cherkas Home Improvement both personally on my own home ‘fix-its’ as well as recommending them to my KitchenVisions clients to work on any of their homes needing reliable handymen (and women), painters, wallpaper hangers, electricians and carpenters. They have the right tradespeople in their ‘toolbox’ and are honest, reliable, and professional. Easy to work with and they show up when they say they will. What more can you ask for?

Phil is an Honest guy!!Immediate response.He was transparent with all good/bad news for my project.Phil is going above and beyond on this job. I thought I was going to have to call in Anderson window, and have somebody come in and rip a part everything he just did and have Anderson window come in and repair window sill that is rotten and replace window (custom size) and Phil said he would take care of all of it!!As a home owner you know how hard it is right now to find good, quality, honest and fair workers and prices. Phil is your guy. If he cant do it, he has a great team that can. Trust me.

What an experience I had with this group. From the moment I made contact to the last task performed I dealt with nobody who wasnt the most professional that they could be. The owner is pleasant and straight forward, the gentleman who priced the job was congenial and helpful with suggestions, the administrator that I talked to several times was very helpful, and the laborer who did the work was well received by my tenant and easy to work with. It was a wonderful experience and I will always consider this group first when I need work done on my house. I highly recommend this team.
