Harley of Systems Pavers Newbury Park earned 10 stars! He showed up on the agreed date. Provided periodic updates including before and after photos. Completed the work (clean up 1,700 + square feet of turf in front and back yards) as requested of him, no small task as it required a lot of elbow grease and pure determination to clean up the mess left behind by tenants who put at least a dozen huge potted trees on the turf. Unfortunately Ventura has hard water (lots of minerals) and those pots were watered with hard water and never moved for 3 years. Harley’s efforts made a huge difference in turning dirty faded powdery turf back to the green shiny fluffy state that now looks fantastic!

We had System Pavers install a patio in our backyard recently, and I cant say enough good things about the entire experience. Our sales rep/designer Joey did a great job coming up with suggestions and a design that incorporated some elements that we already had. (This is the first step in a full backyard renovation, so Im going to add pics once were finished...)Once we had the design finalized and signed the contract, the installation was scheduled very promptly and the project manager, Jimmy, was very communicative and kept us informed on how the installation was going to proceed and made sure everything went smoothly, answering any questions that we had along the way.Finally Antonio and the crew did the actual installation very efficiently and professionally and made sure that it looked fantastic when it was finished, the entire thing took two days which was a pleasant surprise. Even though the crew had to come back on a Saturday for a little extra work due to my own miscommunication, they and Jimmy were nothing but gracious about it.Overall, were very happy with System Pavers, we feel that it was a great value based on the quality of the work and the professionalism displayed across the board, would definitely recommend!

My wife and I saw a paver project in the neighborhood and it was distinctly different from the other ones we saw. There was a System Pavers sign board in the yard. We wanted our driveway, sideyards and backyard paved. We came back home and did some homework and wanted to call them to get an estimate. Coincidentally the next day there was a young kid that knocked the door and introduced himself as rep from System Pavers. Looked like it was meant to be our time for the project. A designer/architect came and explained how it works and got the measurements and sent us the estimate by the duly promised date. It was expensive but we still wanted to go ahead with the project as it was long due and we were really looking forward to it. Next came friendly and always available Colin the project manager, explained us what to expect and how the project will be done. He was very receptive and accommodative to the changes we have asked for (of course for an additional cost). He was also very knowledgeable and his experience was clearly visible in the project. Finally the crew who we would like to refer them as master craftsmen, they delivered whatever was designed and it was a treat to watch them put the pieces of the puzzle together. They thoroughly knew the work they were doing. If we had the same knowledge as we had after completion of the project, we are sure the project would have been at an even better state and this gap could have been filled by the designer by providing more design patterns and ideas. So please do your homework thoroughly and pick the designs. They are super expensive but quality comes with a cost. Every change you ask for costs you more. They had a special financing offer and we opted for it. They have a 25 year warranty and that is a huge sigh of relief. We asolutely love the final product that was delivered and are thoroughly enjoying it.

We love our pavers and have had them for 6 months now with no issue.We met with Jay a couple times over a 2-3 year period while we were trying to figure out what we really wanted with our new backyard. He was friendly and kind and helped through the whole process from start to finish. Once we finally figured out what we wanted, the form and loan process was simple and easy direct through Jay. They were able to work with our schedule and came out on time and quick when we were ready to schedule (since we wanted to wait a couple weeks due to travel). Pricing was higher than some of the other proposals we received, but it was clear that System Pavers was worth the tad increase based on their professionalism, overall quality, and warranty.Once we got set up, our project manager Harley reached out almost immediately. He met with us to view the work area and talk through all the details of what would happen over the work period. He was able to answer all our questions or speak with someone with the answers to our questions to be able to get us answers. He was incredibly professional and supportive through the process. He quoted the lead time for the work to be done over a max of a 1-2 weeks period. The work was done much faster. The crew worked full days for 3 days and completed it. Arturo, the crew lead, was on top of it with his team. We were impressed with the work and speed (especially since it has held up quality wise so far!). There was a single paver that had a hairline crack in it that we found during inspection. Harley talked with Arturo, and they were able to fix it by the next morning first thing. We even ended up with a couple extra pavers that were leftover that we use for steps to our side gate.We are happy, especially with it being such a large investment for us. We would do business with System Pavers again. Major shout-out to Jay, Harley, and Arturo.

For several years our concrete driveway was being cracked and popped up by the roots of our large Tipu tree. It finally got to the point that we were worried about people tripping and being injured. So, when a flier from System Pavers appeared on our front door we decided we might as well talk with them about replacing the driveway. Their salesman, Dave R., came out to show us their brochures, discuss options, explain the process and answer our questions. He took measurements before he left and got some estimates back to us that same evening. I wanted to see the actual pavers before making any decisions so Dave offered to meet with me down in Oxnard the next day, at the paver showroom, so he could show me the various paver styles, colors and pattern choices. Once we decided to proceed the project manager, Harley W., came by to touch base and make sure we were all on the same page. When the job got underway the work crew was truly amazing - there were a lot of guys and they were all constantly busy! They were a really great group of super skillful, hard workers lead by Enrique and George. Harley checked in often to see how things were going, addressed any issues that arose and make sure that we were totally happy with the job. The project was finished amazingly quickly. All in all it was a great experience. From Dave, to Harley and the awesome work crew everyone did a great job. This was a smooth, impressive operation and I would highly recommend System Pavers.

I cant recommend System Pavers, highly enough!I found System Pavers through a local FB group. From start to finish this company provided above and beyond service and product quality. So much so, that I didnt even search for other bids. The designer, Blake, took into consideration every personal preference and need. With budget minded creativity, we were provided a jaw dropping 3-D rendering.Our project manager was fabulous, providing daily interaction. Even while suffering from personal family loss, Harley never missed a beat. The professionalism and care was outstanding. Any project hiccups were resolved as non-issues, due to the great collaboration and commitment to getting the job done right. The project was even completed faster than expected.We have gone from a useless dirt pit, to a backyard that is pet/kid friendly and environmentally conscious. The project exceeded expectations and made the space look 3 times larger. The pavers accent our home perfectly and look very high-end. The imitation grass looks lush, green and completely real! As a Quality Assurance Manager, I would whole heartedly recommend them to friends and family.

In the sales department, Joe Camacho helped us come up with a design that we are extremely happy with. Daniel was very professional. He explained the work in details and extremely attentive. I had 4 different quotes. We ended up choosing System Pavers because of the way detailed quotation Daniel sent. Work was done timely according to schedule. The superintendent was thorough and kept us up-to-date on progress. Patio turned out beautifully done. Highly recommended System Pavers. I got turf in my dog run for my precious puppy. My design consultant, Blake Torgerson, was very professional, helpful and couldn’t have made this any smoother for me! My project Manager, Jim, was great at managing the crew and kept everything on schedule. I couldn’t be happier to have turf laid down! Now I don’t have to worry about my pup getting muddy or digging in dirt outside. I will absolutely be contacting System Pavers more work in the future.

At the bottom of this review, youll find my review from February 2019. Atthat time, we hired System Pavers to redo our driveway: changing it from stamped concrete to pavers. At the time, we knew we wanted to do the same thing to our back patio, but we figured it would be smart to try them out on a somewhat smaller project first, and then tackle the much larger and more complicated back yard once we knew we were satisfied. (Back yard is ~2,000 sq ft.) You can find my review of the driveway project below dated ~2/2019.Needless to say, we were delighted with the work they did in 2019, and therefore asked to have the same project manager (Jimmy Jackson) again this year. That said, Jimmy had a long weekend planned out of town during our project, but things continued without a hitch, with Rich Daugherty stepping in to cover in Jimmys absence -- absolutely seamless service!The project started 2 weeks ago tomorrow, and was completed today: only 10 working days in that time frame! Note that my husband had delayed moving forward on this project because he guessed it would take them a minimum of 4 weeks to complete it, with at least 2 weeks of jack hammering the old concrete. Wrong! It was more like 3 days of demo, followed by 7 days of construction -- and the demo was all by hand: there was no way for a bobcat to access our back yard, so the guys used jack hammers and wheelbarrows to remove all that concrete. They are are FAST!They are also artisans: our house is of modern design, so the pool and back patio have lots of corners, which were mitred beautifully. (See pics). They also added drainage to the patio, thereby solving a prior problem. The detail work was simply awesome!Any question we raised, they addressed, and we saw Jimmy or Rich here daily, ensuring that everything was picture perfect. Believe me, if/when we have any other hardscape that needs attention, we will call them again!From February 2019:Barely a month ago we first contacted System Pavers to consider having them replace our driveway. Today, I signed off on completion of the project, which was extremely smooth from start to finish. When James Jordan, our design consultant first met with us via video conference, he already had Google images of our property, and was therefore well prepared to discuss what we wanted to do. Based on that meeting, he prepared a first draft plan for what we wanted, which he brought to our home only about 3 days later, along with material samples. At the end of that marathon meeting, we had a game plan for a 2- or 3-phase project: first replacing our driveway and then -- if we were satisfied with phase 1, moving on to the back patio and yard. Two weeks later, construction started, with Jimmy Jackson as our Project Manager and Temo as his crew chief, and now -- less than a week later, everything is completed and beautiful. During the course of construction, we encountered a couple of minor glitches -- nothing major -- and each time, Jimmys attitude (and that of everyone working with him) was, no problem -- we can fix that.Meanwhile, our neighbors have been working (with a different company!) on a similar project for the past 4+ months. Needless to say, they are in awe of how quickly our transformation was completed!

We recently had System Pavers complete our second backyard project. Phase 1 was in 2014, and it was now time to expand it with a fire pit, larger patio, walls, and a putting green! It was a joy to work with them again! The end results were absolute perfection in our eyes. We are thoroughly enjoying their creative masterpiece. We cannot recommend them highly enough. We can’t wait for phase 3 next year! From beginning to end, Jeff Laack and Aaron Kennedy were phenomenal. We are so grateful for their expertise.Jeff came to our home late November of last year. He was friendly, respectful, and connected well with our family. He had a vision from the beginning and brought about an excitement that we did not even know was possible with pavers. He saw the potential in our backyard, and made it come to life with spectacular plans that blew our minds. The curves, angles, materials were beautifully captured in his design. He envisioned a putting green in part of our yard that our children would enjoy. It transformed our project and added so much greenery and fun to the space. Jeff worked with us to bring our dreams come to reality with the budget we had. It was truly more than we could have hoped for. He was a delight to work with. Professional, friendly, creative, and energetic. The design process was fast. He worked with our challenging HOA and was patient when problems arose on our end. From the first meeting to the final walk through, Jeff was outstanding. System Pavers is lucky to have such a tremendous visionary.When demo day came, so did our phenomenal Project Manager. I still smile when I think about what a kind, creative, meticulous, and enthusiastic guy he is. We were so fortunate to see Aaron every day for almost 3 weeks. He connected with our family in such a fun way. He went through every inch of our yard with us and made sure everything was more than perfect and to our liking. He led his crew well. He communicated with us constantly. He also made sure the whole family, including our 3 young children, had FUN with the construction process. My kids looked forward to having Aaron visit each morning. He was a burst of sunshine and made sure it was a pleasant experience. In fact, we were heartbroken when the project completed because it was such a fantastic experience. Aaron worked long hours to make sure our backyard turned into our dream space for the family. He is extremely knowledgeable in construction and made sure everything was beautiful crafted. We made revisions along the way, and he always overcommunicated to make sure we were happy. We received daily job comments via email that helped us stay updated on the work for each day. Aaron is an outstanding manager and person. Any future job will be lucky to have him as a manager. He ‘s going places! We were honored to work with him. The end results were flawless and exquisite, thanks to Aaron and the crew he led!Not only were Jeff and Aaron wonderful, but I also want to comment on the workers. We have a large window in our family room that our children and I would look out of each day. We commented that they literally never stopped for one second. They just kept on going and going and going. Their work ethic was outstanding. All the men were respectful, polite, and friendly. They showed up early every day and worked long hours, 6 days a week. They were all experts in their work. We were impressed with their skills.We are now landscaping and enjoying our beautiful new backyard. Phase 2 complete! We can’t wait for phase 3 next year. With eager hearts, we highly recommend System Pavers to everyone!

Wow! What a difference in our backyard! I cannot thank System Pavers - especially Daniel Gradin and Jimmy Jackson and their hard-working team.First, Daniel is like no other sales person you will ever meet. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but totally low pressure and easy going. We first met with him at the end of May and just had our yard done in November. I am sure we must have been driving him crazy with our questions and indecision, but he was consistently professional, friendly and patient. He was very helpful in answering our never-ending questions and assisting us with finding a way to incorporate all that we wanted into the design.Jimmy and his crew were professional, on-time, considerate of us and our neighbors and very hard-working. I was so impressed with their attention to detail and the amount of work they did each day. It was a huge undertaking to demo our original concrete patios and brick walkways, but they did it in record time. Watching them throughout the process - installing the drains, leveling the sand, arranging the pavers, and building the wall and firepit - proved they were masters.The end result is an amazing outside area that gives us so much more room to hang out and we have no doubt it increases our homes value.I highly recommend the System Pavers team and their product. The process from system pavers from start to finish was great. Daniel is a great detail oriented designer and would meet with us late to accomedate our busy work schedule. He would constantly keep us informed and made sure we were getting taken care of. Dereck was on site at least once a day to make sure the crew completed the tasks given for the day and would answer all questions in the most professional manner. The crew onsite were very knowledgeable and respectful. They would work late nights as well and would leave the job site clean. Now that the job is completed am I happy? Yes!!!!! I have a awesome plush turf yard, and great looking pavers. Another plus I am not spending 2 hours a week cutting my grass and my kids have a nice area to play. I highly recommend system pavers Camarillo. 👍

We Couldn’t Be Happier!After years of looking at our old courtyard and the “turf block” that adjoined it, we decided to replace both with pavers. I went online and read reviews for various companies who would tackle the task, and decided to give System Pavers a call. My first impression was that everyone to whom I spoke was so friendly and helpful. Our salesman/designer Ryan Miranda was quite knowledgable and, once he heard what we were aiming for, made many great suggestions and drew up a plan. When the day arrived for the transformation to begin, Ryan showed up at our home to introduce me to Derek Mason, our project manager. We all walked through the area and discussed the design goals. Derek took it from there and was a wonderful liaison between the terrific crew and me. He made sure I understood every step of the transformation, and what would be done. Speaking of the crew, Eric and the guys worked so hard to magically turn our courtyard from ugly into beautiful! They were so diligent in their work ethic that the job was completed sooner than expected. They left the area neat, clean and looking like something out of a magazine!In fact, we were so pleased with the experience that we made a call to System Pavers to have them return to replace the front walkways and patio! Once again, Ryan created a great plan, and...once again, Derek was fabulous in overseeing the project that was completed ahead of schedule by Mauricio and the guys! They were so conscientious and hard-working. Again this time, they left everything pristine and gorgeous!From beginning to end, all these guys turned what could have been a big messy experience into one that was exciting, worry-free, and pleasant. Communication was easy via their website, or in calls/texts made directly to Ryan and/or Derek. I would recommend System Pavers to anyone interested in improving the exterior of their home. After interviewing 4 other companies, we recently had our backyard repaved by System Pavers and we are very pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.Our design consultant Joey Camacho was knowledgeable, provided great guidance, and fully understood our needs and objectives. Our project manager Colin Culbert did an amazing job overseeing the entire project. There were a couple of hiccups but Colin stepped in and took care of the issues seamlessly and without hesitation. It was very refreshing to deal with someone who takes charge and actually delivers! The crew started on time, left the premises neat and tidy at the end of each work day. They even completed the job earlier than the promised timeframe! The paving stones look beautiful, and their **Permalast Layered Install System** gave us confidence that the foundation was properly prepared for longevity and durability.Overall, we highly recommend System Pavers. While they may be slightly more expensive than other companies, their experience, attention to detail and advanced installation process, really set them apart. We feel secure knowing that System Pavers stand behind their work should we ever experience any problems in the future. We couldnt be happier with how our backyard turned out.

I would like to say thank you Systems Pavers (SP) for their employment choice with Jay and Harley. Following the Ventura Home Show, Jay promptly contacted us regarding our interest in replacing our nearly 60-year-old asphalt driveway. Jay spent quite some time with us regarding the merits and warranties of SP’s pavers over a poured concrete slab. He measured and redesigned our driveway to incorporate a walking path within the driveway itself. Ultimately, the design and a fair price (including the Home Show discount) sealed the deal. Next, the installation date was set and Project Manager, Harley stepped in. He directed his knowledgeable crew with little effort. He promptly notified everyone involved when minor adjustments needed to be made or considered. Upon near completion, Harley and Jay walked the entire driveway with my wife and I to guarantee our complete satisfaction before the final SP bonding process was completed. Since several pavers were left over, a quick addition of a walkway to our side yard was considered, designed, and completed at a nominal additional cost. We are extremely pleased with our wonderful new backyard! Our 20+ year dream has now become a reality and we look forward to relaxing and enjoying our new low maintenance personal paradise.Our designer, Jay, used our drawings and ideas to create an expansive patio surrounded by beautiful artificial turf and flower beds, topped off with an amazing outdoor kitchen with granite countertops, and a patio cover. There are rain water drains underneath the patio and beside the flower beds. We have beautiful lighting, graceful curvy walkways, two low walls for sitting upon, and for delineation into the farthest area of the yard for my plants. John and his crew demolished our old patio and cleared the debris away promptly. Rich and his crew did amazing work prepping everything and building the patio, walkways and kitchen, and a special back driveway/patio for our travel trailer. John and crew built a fabulous patio cover with graceful curves, and set up the electrical wiring.The work crews were very responsive and prompt when scheduled to work on our project. They worked very hard and did a wonderful job.Ill be honest, I was a bit hesitant to have artificial turf, but I love it now. It is beautiful and looks so natural, it even has scattered little old browned grass blades under the green grass blades, to look like real grass. It really looks real! Sales agent that came to my home was very professional and experienced with the product. He explained the main reasons why to go with his product versus the product you can get at Lowes, home Depot, etc. The quality of their synthetic grass is amazing and he was even able to show me a comparison of what is sold in stores. I checked the stores product myself and sure enough, he was right. Honest and explained the value!Having the synthetic grass put in my home was the best home improvement decision I have made yet and System Pavers made it simple and easy. They handled all of my questions and concerns and I have recommended to family, friends and neighbors to make sure that System Pavers does the work for them.
