We have been looking for an electrician for a while, found some but they never call you back. When I tried Walter Electric they answered right away. Deb was fantastic dealing with me and my questions. She got me an estimate and a date in record time. Talked on Thursday I believe it was and Vernon was here Monday morning. Vernon was very nice and helpful. Gave lots of info on what he was doing what we should and can do. He was done in hour and a half. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be using Walter Electric again..

I called Walter Electric to see about correcting many problems in my 32 year old Electrical Panel. They reviewed the situation and we came to conclusion it was more economical to replace the the panel and replace the breakers than try to fix all the issues that we had. I could not be any more happy with how everything came out. All my issues were solved after they replaced everything and now I have a modern panel, new breakers and everything is up to code. The electrician arrived on time. Turned off the power to the house when it was schedule and was done and the power back on before the estimated down time. The area was left clean and orderly. He review his work with me and I felt comfortable knowing all that was done. I highly recommend Walter Electric!!!

I called from out of state to help get service for my parents. Debbie was very polite and understanding and quickly scheduled an appointment for the next day. Bob performed the service and was very professional and understanding of my parents’ needs. He thoroughly and carefully explained the extensive work they needed and the options that were available to them. He even provided a temporary solution for them so they didn’t have to leave their house until the full repair could be completed.Walter Electric would be my first choice to handle my electrical needs.

Walter Electric was a great help updating some old mixed-up kitchen light switches, plus they replaced the recessed lighting in my living room. Vernon the electrician was so professional and he recommended some much needed lighting in my hallway ( I cant wait for them to install a new light fixture.) The whole staff at Walter Electric was courtesy and willing to work with my schedule & budget!! Thank you Deb, Bob and Vernon for a job well done!! BTW, they are coming to repair & replace some outdoor electrical problems with our pool, its a bigger job so Im gonna wait until next year! From the initial estimate through installation, the pros at Walter Electric are top notch. A thoughtful, well written work order at a fair price was a no brainer! Vernon and Patrick wasted no time in completing our panel upgrade followed by a Level-2 Charge-point Electric Vehicle charger outside our home. They even coordinated inspection immediately following the installation. (same day!) Clean, clean, clean! Their work was clean and office communication (Deb) was responsive and accurate. The estimate paperwork and invoice receipt are EXACTLY what Eversource needs for me to claim our rebates that help offset the cost of the project. Call Bob Walter for honest work at a reasonable cost. You wont regret it.

Hired Walter electric to fix issues we were having with our outlets and to install electric boxes for fan installation. We were very happy with their service. First of all, The electrician, Vernon, from Walter Electric, was right on time. The problem we were having was a bit baffling, but Vernon was very methodical as he furrowed through various possibilities until he landed on the most likely issue. We discussed the best way to repair the problems and covered increasing our panel to 200 amp to cover additional electrical needs for an upcoming renovation. We are very pleased with the service we’ve received to date.

Omg!!!! What a blessing has it been working with Walter Electric, they are by far the best company that I ever worked with, so Im opening up a restaurant and was shopping around for quotes since i had a big job to do and every company i called didnt answer or never called back or was booked out weeks, but not Walter Electric thank God from the moment I called the lady from the office Debbie was amazing very welcoming, nice and very responsive i was able to get Bob the (owner) over to my restaurant the very next day to look at the Job he was official, genuine, respectful and very knowledgeable hands down amazing, within 2 hours of him checking out the job i received the quote which was nice and reasonable and within a couple days the electrician showed up to start the work, Patrick is also amazing and very knowledgeable his work is top notch super neat and clean he definitely knows what hes doing, cool man easy to talk to, he listen carefully to what you want and gets the Job done, the whole Walter Electric team is amazing I would recommend them to everyone for any job big or small you wont be disappointed they are locked in for all my projects. I had to rewired my bedroom, and the electrician they sent did an excellent job. There was old wires from the previous owners that had to be replaced, and it took time and patience. He made it seem like it was no trouble at all. Rarely do you come across people with a positive frame of mind. We will be calling on them again, (because theres more to do 😂) and I cant complain about the price either 🤣. A worker is worth his pay, thank you Chris 🙏🏽

I have been a client of Walter Electric for thirteen years. Since the beginning, I have found Bob to be the consummate professional. He listens carefully and enjoys problem solving unique electrical situations. He, along with his office manager, Deb, are prompt and thorough when sending estimates for consideration. Furthermore, they are flexible and accommodating. Most recently, Vernon was the electrician completing the work. He arrived on time, was friendly, knowledge and clearly explained what was going to happen. He left my home in the same condition he found it, in spite of the job being a messy one. He installed a programmable thermostat but there was an issue with it. Another visit will be required. There were a couple of glitches in the understanding of what work was to be performed. We had Walter Electric come in and look over our brand new (old) house. There was a ton of work that needed to be done and they were nothing short of professional when it came to our estimate. Bob arrived early for the estimate and went into detail about what was going to be done and gave me a few options to choose from. They let my wife and I know exactly what was going on and were super professional about everything (including letting me know when they were going to lunch!). We were having some issues with our kitchen light. The electrician, Vernon, was very knowledgeable and professional. As soon as he checked the light he quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately shut off the power. Turns out the person that had wired it previously did not do it correctly and the wires were literally melting and sparking. There were scorch marks on the box that heldbthe wires! He was able to replace the box and wires and even fixed a different light switch while he was here. I would definitely recommend Walter Electric and I cant thank Vernon enough. This might have really saved our lives.

I just moved into a condo in Waterford and after taking a shower for the first time in the master bath I realized there was no exhaust fan present. I reached out to Walter Electric and was in contact with Debbie almost immediately where she was extremely helpful and assisted me in getting scheduled with Vernon. I don’t know much about electricity, but Vernon seemed to know it all. He was able to install the exhaust fan, run the duct work, and fix a GFCI outlet for me in a quick and timely manner and was very professional during the entire process. Walter Electric was prompt in responding to our inquiry, consistent is communication (based on my recent and considerable experience, these are rare qualities these days) punctual, exhibited a high attention to detail, very knowledgeable and was very courteous and friendly. Gary was experienced and knowledgeable and able to quickly assess the odd wiring situation and remedy it. Then he was creative and able to get the new range hood affixed to the cabinet. It was not a simple installation but he got it all done in an hour. I was so pleased. I highly recommend Walter Electric. As a woman homeowner it is not always easy to find trustworthy contractors. My afternoon was delayed and interrupted which was very frustrating. Despite this, he was very kind and professional. From start to finish, I dont think I can say enough positive things about Walter Electric. We reached out to them shortly after purchasing a home that needed a fairly extensive amount of electrical work, and from the moment I spoke to Deb in the front office, I knew we would be in good hands. Since we were in the midst of a cross country move, we had to rely on Bob and his team to assess the condition of the electrical systems in the house and make all of the upgrades with minimal oversight. The estimates we were given were the most detailed I think I have ever received prior to work being completed and the pricing was extremely reasonable. We just arrived at the house a few days ago after the work had all been completed and everything looks great. All connections are very clean and all work was completed as quoted. Even the area where they dug a trench from the house to the garage has been neatly filled in and is hardly noticeable. I would not hesitate to use Walter Electric in the future and I will be recommending them to anyone looking for quality electrical work.
