    It was like magic. They removed the old fuse box and installed a new breaker. But this magic was not easy. No rabbit out of the hat or cards up the sleeve. It was a two day job. Yes, two days! 9 hours days. The two men work very long and hard. The old box was in a small corner. It was 40 years old ,now l feel safe in my home.I give the two men a 100% satisfaction and a 5 star rating.

    HUGE fan of Tyrrell Electric! They have provided services to my residence three times. Each time they are just amazing, knowledgeable, professional and reasonable. This last time they installed an addition to my breaker box and gave me a direct plug in for my generator. For someone that does not want to invest thousands of dollars at this residence for a Generac, this was the best option. Work was timely, the young man Trevor who did the work was professional, diligent and educated me on each detail. I feel more secure and prepared from the work that Tyrrell has provided to me.     For the installation of our electric car charging station, I had 5 different contractors visit our home to establish estimates.Not only did Joe provide the best technical recommendation but his estimate was also the most competitive.The installation took place on the agreed date and the work was done very nicely.I will definitely work with Tyrrell Electric for future needs and I recommend this company for electrical installation.

    Tyrrell Electric was really great to work with. They came out promptly to give me a quote, communicated with me on how busy they were but they would give me a quote at the end of the week. Once I got the quote, I was very happy with the price they gave me as it was much better than another company. They came out a week later and got the job done. Would recommend them and plan on using them again in the future.

    I used Tyrrell Electric to do some work on my home. Tyrrell was timely, friendly, and professional. The work was done well and the electricians explained the process thoroughly. I have also had a couple power loss situations where I have reached out to Joe. Joe was helpful in pointing me in the right direction, and friendly even when DTE covered issues and I needed to cancel Tyrrells services. Hands down a great provider. Would recommend to anyone.

    We lost power in our barn. The company that installed our generator was not able to come for almost two weeks, which was unacceptable. Thankfully, I found Tyrrell Electric. Joe was able to send a team the following day. The techs found a failed and unneccesary component installed by the other company. After bipassing, the failed component, power was restored. Joe Tyrrell and his techs were courteous, efficient and professional. They are now our go-to company for electrical tasks.

    Contacted Joe during the recent ice storm power outage to install and interlock kit. Joe was very responsive and fairly priced. Had one of his guys come out in bad weather and got us up and running after 5 days without power the same day I called.Highly recommend and will continue to use Tyrrell Electric for all our needs.Jason

    Joes crew was courteous and professional throughout the installation of a generator interlock and whole-house surge protector. My experience was first-rate from initial contact to final installation. The pricing was fair, and the installation met all of my expectations. I will definitely recommend Tyrrell Electric to others, and will be reaching out to them again for other projects.

    I just had 2 of their technicians out to install some recessed lights in my family room. They called when on their way to let me know what time they would arrive. They made sure to cover everything in site with drop clothes before starting their work and even worked around my rabbit enclosure! They marked off the placement of the lights and had me ok it before they made a single cut. The entire pro essay took about 3 hours and they even offered to run my vacuum to clean up the very little dust and debris from their work. They were very friendly and helpful with figuring out the smart aspect of the lights which, they werent very sure of, but we figured it out together within a couple of minutes. Ive used Tyrrell before in another home and I cant recommend them enough. Their work is high quality and theyre super fast no matter how big or small the project is.

During our recent home renovation, we had to have Joe come out several times; he worked to accommodate us in his busy schedule.     I have had Tyrell Electric come to my home for a small jobs before and was pleased with their service, so when I bought a new house with an electrical panel from 1967, I called Joe and set up an appointment. He was clear about job parameters, costs and timing and communication was excellent. The 2 electricians he sent were efficient, polite, hard workers and wore masks, as did I . I am very pleased and now have grounded electrical service that is better and safe! Thank you Joe and George and Gerald. You will be my first call when the need arises again! Thank you

    We had Tyrrell electric install canless lights in our bedrooms, swap a few fixtures throughout our home, and install a dimmer switch. Joe was very good to work with from the start. Quick to respond to questions, update quotes with additional requests, communicated promptly through texting and email as well as phone calls. His guys were ready bright and early, they were professional, courteous, and most importantly, the work looks great. Up front pricing and prepared us for anything we need to deal with after (e.g. drywall repair, paint touch up). My only critique is that they left a bit of a mess (muddy shoes tracked through upstairs, bits of drywall/wiring around work space). The work was so good otherwise though that I wouldnt even take a star off for this minor complaint. Would definitely refer friends/family here and will plan to get any further electrical work done with this company.

    Jack, our technician today, was competent, professional and a good communicator. We had a tricky job to troubleshoot but he accomplished the primary job, along with two other minor fix items in just over an hour. If your looking for a professional level provider with the ability to respond and fix your problem Tyrrell is the place to call.

    Tyrrell did the electrical work in our building when it was built quite a few years ago now. I have used them for many electrical projects since then - big and small. I appreciate their ability to work with us through all types of projects and circumstances. I can give them the scope of the project and then let them take care of the rest.     We had a small fire in our garage and I called Tyrell Electrical the next day as I wanted to make sure all electrical wires were still good and GFI box had to be replaced due to fire. Our subdivision used Tyrell Electric last year to install a street light that was damaged and they did a great job. I had never used an electrician before myself and was very happy. I explained to Joe the owner the issue and he fit me in that day. They came out checked wiring, replaced GFI box and checked amperage at panel to ensure the fuse could handle the load from Christmas lights. Made me feel very confident and safe by having them handle all that. I’ll continue to use Tyrell Electrical going forward.

    I needed a small job done around the house - a few outlets and switches replaced and a couple of places that had been recommended by friends never responded so I ended up searching for a place on my own. I read the reviews for Tyrrell Electric and decided to give them a try. Joe responded to my request and I had an appointment set up by the end of the week. He called when he was about 30 mins out to let me know he was on his way, which I appreciated. He replaced 3 outlets with GFI, put in a new switch and installed a whole house surge protector. He was professional, the work was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. He made a few recommendations for the additional work that could be done but in no way did I feel pressure to make a decision on the spot like you do with some companies. Overall it was a good experience, I would definitely have them do work on my home again and recommend them to others.
