    Tom Martin did a fantastic job wiring our fireplace in preparation for a gas insert. He was professional and very knowledgeable. The outside conduit is very clean and hidden. The outlet in the mantel he installed looks original to the house. Highly recommend Mr. Martin.

    Tom performed a thorough testing of the entire electrical system in our house. He also tested our fire alarms which are working well. A report of the testing was clearly reviewed with me along with the cost of recommended upgrades to our outlets and switches. He made it clear that it was not essential to do the work at this time. However, Tom’s review was similar to the assessment that was done last year so I decided to go forward with the upgrades. I am very pleased that Tom got started today on the work. He completed work on two rooms today and was attentive to cleaning the areas where work was done. Yesterday Tom replaced an outside light along our walk and had an associate come to replace a thermostat for the basement heat in our media room. I’m really pleased with the efforts of the electricians who work for Iddings.

    I recently had Darrel and Alan at my home to install some outdoor ground lighting. They were professional, kind, tidy and took the extra time to walk me through the features of the up-lights they installed. They went above and beyond to explain all the details and they cleaned up before they left. Previously Tom had come out to quote the job who was equally nice and thorough and professional. We have also worked with Dennis; he was the point person during construction who installed all of our lighting and electrical throughout the house. I could not be happier with everything he did and he took the time to explain everything in detail as well. I would recommend Iddings to anyone and everyone; their employees couldnt be nicer; they truly take pride in doing a great job.

    Darryl was the technician that came out for the estimate to run electric to our shed. He was very detailed in the work that would be performed and asked the right questions to ensure our needs would be met. Communication was excellent! Keep also pointed out that our electrical panel was, well, old. Didnt realize they needed upgraded every 20 years or so. Ours was over 30 years old.When the time came for the work to be performed, Darryl and his coworker, Kyle, were very professional, neat and efficient! We were updated at the conclusion of each day and were very pleased with the job that they did! We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work!

    I did not personally use this company but my sister in law did and they did a great job and she was very happy with how she was treated, how they took care of her new floors, how they explained everything to her and discussed each step of the project. The owner Tom Martin actually called me her brother in law in Montana to discuss the project, the options and the time frame. This was a complete upgrade from the service, mast, meter base to a new panel. It’s good to know people still take pride in their work. Thanks for taking care of my family.

They were recommended by a friend and I will use them again.Update: I brought them back to replace a bunch of bad ballasts in my halogen system. A ceiling fan was to be installed but he advised me that a smaller one would be better for the room. A heat return vent was located where the fan should be… he talked to an hvac technician and found out what had to be done before he was to return to install a smaller fan/light unit.I was very satisfied!

    Iddings Electric was recommended for installing an electrical outlet inside a fireplace before installation of a gas insert. I had an additional request for electrical outlets to be installed in a recently remodeled bathroom that had no existing outlets. To honor the referral, the service manager graciously allowed work to be scheduled outside their regular service area. Prior to the arrival of the electrician, I received an email confirmation which included photographs of possible service providers. Alan arrived within first half the scheduled time window. He was professional in demeanor and in his approach to both jobs requested. Alan took his time to arrive at what appear to be the most practical and considered solutions to bring electricity to two equally perplexing locations within our structure. He was polite and deferential throughout the process and completed the requested work without complaint. Thank you again, Alan, for your hard work, especially when scrambling about in the insufferable temperatures in the attic crawl space during the hottest day of the heat wave.

    The electrician Tom was excellent. His years of experience showed through analyzing our issues with the dead outlets that otherwise had no apparent reason to be out of service. He is very professional, thorough and super neat. The products used are of high quality and installed with care to fit and finish. Their rates are also reasonable.I also joined their monthly club which provides a 10% discount on services, reduced visit fee and includes a yearly whole house electrical checkup. Definitely will be using them going forward.
