I recently purchased a home that was built in 1999. The sliding door was original to the house and rotten at the bottom. Trent and Dan from Home Lumber showed up at about 9:00, replaced the old door with a beautiful new Andersen door and were gone by 1:00. They did a fantastic job and left no evidence they had even been here… other than the new door, of course. Additionally, we had a situation where the old interior trim could not be re-used due to a difference in the construction of the old vs. new doors, but the guy who did the original estimate (unfortunately I can’t recall his name) stated this was a possibility and Trent and Dan came equipped with everything they needed to deal with it. Beautiful work! Definitely a satisfied customer!! I highly recommend Home Lumber and Trent and Dan.

Sean is a great fireplace technician, and he came for our annual service this morning. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He knows our systems well, and can help us get the most out of them. In addition, he is able to offer helpful hints on how to get the best performance possible. Weve had this fireplace now for 5 years, and have had the annual service each year. My only recommendation for people is get the service when no one else is thinking about it. Like in July or August. It takes longer to get service if you wait until November!

Sean from Home Lumber repaired our Majestic gas fireplace. He thoroughly explained the issue it had, repaired it quickly, and inspected and cleaned the entire unit. Our house is still fairly new to us and this is the first gas fireplace we have owned. Sean took the time to explain all the various options the fireplace has and gave us several great operating and maintenance tips. Sean is a true expert, and we really appreciated him taking the time to teach us. We have dealt with Home Lumber several times before this and have always had good experiences - they are professionals and treat customers right!

Just wanted to let you know that the guys (Eric and Aiden) from home lumber just finished installing the new garage overhead door opener (10/10/2024). They did a great job.The door still makes lots of noise when going up or down due to the rollers not rolling smoothly in the tracks. Eric mentioned that new rubber rollers would roll much more smoothly and quietly. So I decided to have the rollers replaced.Eric and Aiden were available to do it and did that today (10/31/2024). They did another great job at the end of their day.

My gas fireplace stopped working, so I called Home Lumber and spoke to Bree. I had used them before, and been very satisfied with their work. It is exceptional to be able to find a telephone number, and a real person answering your call immediately on the other end. Bree was knowledgeable, polite, and enjoyable to talk with. She gave me the closest appointment she could find, however, later, I had to cancel the appointment because of a conflict, but when I called back she was very helpful in moving the date for me without making me feel badly. Because of Bree, making and changing the appointment was very easy and quick. The. technician, Sean, came on time, removed his shoes, and found the issue immediately. He cleaned my screen and was careful not to make a mess around my fireplace or damage any of the items I had there. He also gave me hints on how to use my ceiling fans more effectively. I was pleased about the tips because I am always trying to reduce the amount of energy I use. I have found the employees at Home Lumber to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend their services and employees very highly.

Sean Stephenson came to my house today to fix my gas fireplace. He called and said he would be there in 10 -15 minutes. He arrived within the time frame. He greeted me and identified himself and confirmed what he was there to do. He proceeded to the fireplace and began working. As he worked he explained what he was doing as he picked up I was interested in what he was doing. I built most of my house so I was a hands on person when it came to maintaining our house. I have had several subcontractors and repairmen come to our house over the past 36 years and Sean is one of the best I have ever experienced. He was professional, kind, understanding, technical and he knew his fireplaces. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave me several tips on what I could do to maintain my fireplaces. Without a doubt I will be keeping him in mind for future reference. I told my wife if she ever needed anything done with our wood burning stove or our gas fireplaces, and I was not available, Sean was the one to call. He did a GREAT job and is one of the best repairmen I have ever experienced!

Amazing service support. Had them out to replace what we thought was a pilot assembly. Turned out to be a bad switch. Sean did a ton of extra things to make my fireplace better as well. Replace the golden embers and added fairy dust, discussed and then installed a blower system to make my fireplace more efficient, and discussed how to maintain the unit as well. Very excited to have a working fireplace, and could not be happier with the service and support from home lumber.

I needed assistance with a fireplace problem that had been addressed by at least three other companies.None of these companies provided help and only suggested that I try another. I was charged for the trip even when nothing was done. When service was done it never corrected the issue.Sean S. with Home Lumber came out to address the situation. I was told if he was not able to fix the issue there would be NO trip charge.He was not only able to fix the problems I was having but also provided amazing expertise and suggestions in what the problem was, how I could avoid it in the future and also how to maintain the fireplace on my own. He even offered websites that I could visit in the event that I wanted to replace logs or acquire tools to maintain it.I would 100% refer this company to anyone in need of this type of service. Wow! What an incredible experience we had with Home Lumber. My husband and I have worked with several home builders, contractors and workers over the past 6 years and this was the absolute best experience we’ve had out of all of them. Jay showed up in time, (called before to give an exact time of arrival) and not only was he kind and considerate but he was so professional from beginning to end. He went above and beyond to not only get my problem fixed( we had an attic door that was not installed correctly during the building process that sticks terribly) but he noticed a few other things that needed taken care of and just did them!
