We have known Chris for over 10 years and he has completed a host of projects for us, including building a beautiful new home. Perhaps the most important thing I can note for anyone reading these reviews is that I have recommended him to two good friends who have also built, or are building, new homes with him. Having known many contractors over the years, I can say without hesitation that Chris is a professional and trustworthy contractor that is fair on price and backs up his promises, which can be a rarity in this field. His subcontractors are honorable and talented people, he runs an efficient operation and he does it at a reasonable price. He is also extremely responsive which is of the utmost importance when dealing with construction management. At every turn Chris has exceeded our expectations, stayed on budget and finished our projects on time. His professionalism, knowledge, honesty and responsiveness are beyond reproach.

We recently purchased a very old house that needed to be completely gutted and renovated. Our decision to use Chris was a bit unusual - in order to secure a renovation loan and mortgage we needed to have a contractor identified and loan papers signed in a very short period of time. Not knowing any contractors, I called Chris on a weekend and he picked up his phone, answered my questions and agreed to meet us at house to give his opinion. He kindly signed our papers the evening before leaving for a family vacation and we had no choice but to put our faith in him. He delivered!During the course of our project, Chris was ALWAYS on time when we needed to meet, as well as on time finishing the project! He also communicated things clearly and we appreciated that.Since we were new to renovating, we occasionally needed help making decisions. Chris and his “guys” were helpful in this area.As for the price, I can’t comment on his costs because I have nothing to compare it to. I can say, however, that everything looks really, really nice and we are very happy with the results. He’s been responsive anytime we’ve had to call with questions or issues after moving in. Renovations can be stressful but Chris and his people definitely minimized the stress and made the process as painless as possible. Highly recommend.

Chris at RenovationOne didnt just add on to our house, he added on to our home. He thought of everything that would be important to our family, even if it wasnt in our architects plans, and made sure it was executed on professionally, timely, and on budget. He built a master suite, a bedroom/office and an upstairs laundry room above our garage and first floor back room. He and his contractors acted in a professional manner every moment of their time at our house and I trusted everyone on his team. Chris is the the best contractor we have ever worked with to date (and we have done a lot of projects to our fixer upper!).

Chris Barymow of RenovationOne is the quintessential building professional. I had a privilege to work with Chris on few projects, from small remodelings to major renovations.He is thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of residential construction, very attentive to details and a great communicator. On a personal level, I find him to be pragmatic, collective, and approachable. The quality of his work and service are hard to beat, not to mention the 2-year warranty which is double the industry standard!

Chris is very easy to work with, very organized and very knowledgeable. Any issues are handled efficiently. Chris is very available which is not that common! Trusted him to help with many decisions that I had trouble making! Would work with him again
