    I commissioned Mid West Storm Shelters back in July and paid half down in cash for a 6x4 shelter. I was advised it would be ready end of November or December. I did a lot of shopping around before I chose them. Yesterday, I got a call from Mitch Saying I was scheduled for delivery for tomorrow and they had been trying to reach me. It was all by text and one message just said Hello, which I assumed was from some creeper and promptly deleted. My delivery was was done by Lee who was quite friendly and a strange man who was smoking in my garage without my permission. My garage is still my home. Both men spat on my driveway. Lee was kind enough to lend me his phone to make payment to his office as Verizon had an outage and Diane spared me the 4% credit card fee as I was not informed of the delivery in time to transfer the funds from my savings. I do however, not believe you should be charging customers credit card fees. These are your costs of doing business and you can write them off. We cant. I am however, very happy with the shelter and the explanation given by Lee. It is for this reason alone that I am increasing my rating to 4 stars.

    If I could give Midwest Storm Shelter more than 5 stars I would. I knew I would need to be patient once I got on their project list because of the weather but once I did, they pretty much kicked butt.The installation was impressive. I ordered the largest under garage shelter they had. Both Blake and Steve worked tirelessly for 2, 12- hour days to complete the project and I am incredibly pleased with the outcome.This particular project is part of the KS Residential Safe Room program so there was I lot of paperwork the manufacturer and installer needed to complete for me to get the rebate. Aaron was incredibly supportive and had to go above and beyond to get the information I needed for the program. I can’t thank him enough for assisting me even after the job was completed.I would recommend Midwest Shelter to everyone. Just be patient as construction work gets surprises all the time not just with weather but on the job obstacles.Thank you, Midwest Storm Shelters!!

    Awesome service! From the site visit to the install team I can’t say enough! These guys were helpful and thorough. I had a bunch of questions and they took the time to answer them for us. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

    The whole process was easy and they got us in earlier than expected...i would recommend MSS to anyone needing a shelter....The installation guys did a fantastic job!Very fast efficient and did not wreck my yard..nice and neat...very plesant people to do business with!!!

    They are affordably priced!!! They easily beat out the competition with prices and they are transparent about everything! From pricing to timing they communicate and let you know what to expect. The team was awesome! To the point where we are Facebook friends now and that doesnt usually happen. These guys live about 3 hours from us and worked really hard to get us our shelter. They are real, down to earth, hardworking gentlemen that want to create safety for people. Im so thankful to them that we have shelter now during tornados and if you need a shelter as well, I highly recommend them!

From the first phone call I placed ordering my shelter to nailing the target date and installation, everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend these folks!!!

    Great solid storm shelter. They had some issues installing the storm shelter(hitting an unmarked sewer line that was not their fault) but they were very prompt and professional on fixing it. Great company and great people. Storm shelter is solid and has no leaks. It does has small hairline cracks but anyone in the construction knows concrete cracks. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a storm shelter.

    My wife ordered our storm shelter a couple weeks back. We were given a target date of October 2. The guys called about an hour before arriving and were right on target.     I have never been happier to give someone my money. From start finish this was very straightforward. Consistent. Extremely FAST and responsive service. The install crew did a fabulous job. Little to no damage to the site they installed. It looks great. The pricing was also consistently about $2k cheaper thn other quotes from competitors. You cant beat the price and level of service. Especially when youre spending thousands for a product. You want to be satisfied and they exceeded the expectations.
