Sam replaced our hardwood flooring and sub floor in our powder room due to a water leak! Although it was not a big job, it took dedication and attention to detail. This job required skill as well as patience to put together a challenging puzzle.We could not be more pleased. We had a difficult time finding anyone who was interested , so finding him so willing to take on the job was a godsend!He was meticulous, professional, and efficient. He answered all of our questions and cleaned up well.We highly recommend him and plan on using him for another project.

Had a master bedroom repair that was submitted to homeowner’s insurance. Sam was incredibly helpful with the insurance claim process, was very communicative and reliable, and did quality work in a timely manner. Will definitely use this company for future repairs.

We had an enclosed back porch that could only be used as a junk room because there was no heating/AC. Sam transformed the space into a half bath and pantry.We are very happy with the finished product. Sam was courteous and took our wishes into consideration. He stuck with the project consistently and we never felt like he was fitting us in with other projects.The way the room was configured Sam had to not only transform the inside (including heat, AC, plumbing, insulation, flooring, canineca, etc.) he also had to work with our vinyl siding on the outside. He made the outside look as good as the inside.Initially we consulted several contractors and Sam was our first choice. He provided suggestions about ways our plan could work better and he was very cost effective.Sam will definitely be the contractor well use for future projects.

I had a multi-faceted project that involved new drywall, lighting, switches, doors (exterior and interior), demo and rebuild of bathroom, carpentry work, demolition, drop-ceiling, plumbing, and many other items. Sam even had a reference for my main electrical panel replacement so the total electrical change in the area was fantastic. Overall, Sam is detail-oriented, great person, very reliable, very skilled in multiple crafts. Would, and will, highly-recommend.

Sam Ferraro moved my mothers laundry utilities up to the first floor from the basement. Sam listened carefully to where we wanted to place the washer and dryer. He made great suggestions saving us time and money. Sam also did an excellent job replacing a broken downspout. Sam is a polite, efficient, and hard worker. We will continue to ask Sam to do work for us.

Company owner, Sam Ferraro, took an empty room in our basement and turned it into one of the nicest bathrooms we ever could have hoped for. The quality of his work was outstanding. He was professional in every sense of the word, and the way that he communicated with us and kept us informed every step along the way of this project is to be commended. We would, without question, use SJ Improvements for other home projects in the future.
