Phillip is a genius. We had what we thought was a small project. Well it was not what we expected. I contacted Phillip about our small project. Our stove range hood was installed to high. Sounds fairly straightforward, just lower the cabinet the range hood was in. Phillip showed up and the adventure began. Phillip looked at the cabinet and set to work. He explained things to me about the correct way to install the cabinet. As we found out the person who did the installation did not subscribe to the same methods as Phillip did. So he began the deconstruction process. Phillip was very methodical in his process and explained the why’s about the proper way to accomplish what needed to be done. Granted this was not a typical cabinet project, though it was very important to us. Phillip delivered above and beyond. We are extremely pleased with the finished project. I have seen other projects of Phillip’s and was very impressed. He is truly a journeyman in his trade. If you have cabinetry or finish carpentry he his the person to contact, you will be very satisfied with the results. I will recommend Phillip to anyone who is looking for a cabinet maker/ finish carpenter.See the before and after photos.

Philip designed two built in book shelves with cabinets for our family room. We have a new home and there were two spaces next to the fireplace which were a natural place for bookcases. He created two bookcases that blend perfectly with the rest of the room. He is a perfectionist with carpentry so the bookcases are just beautiful. We would highly recommend Philip for any woodworking project that you may be considering. He is easy to work with and has an eye for detail.

Philip is an outstanding craftsman, incredibly professional, honest and a delight to work with. Working with him has easily been the highlight of our vast home remodeling efforts over the past year and worth every penny. We hired Philip for everything from custom cabinets to interior and exterior door installation, casing, trim, baseboards, new stair rails/newel post, shiplap installation and much more. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

We were so impressed with the quality workmanship from Philip Snyder- and are beyond thrilled with the final result. We had asked for custom built in bookshelves to be created, adjacent to a stepped fireplace. (Not the easiest job!) Philip came by to look at the space with his portfolio and I knew immediately, this was a talented man. He was friendly, professional and explained clearly what he thought would work best for our home. He followed up with sketches to ensure we were on the same page with the project and could get a visual interpretation.Philip is well worth the wait- If you want quality work, with honest rates from someone who truly takes pride in his work, is detailed, work with Philip Snyder.

Philip did a fantastic job of refinishing our retail area. It was an especially challenging project because we were using teak wood, but Philip did not mind the challenge. Furthermore, he had great ideas for improving the design and structural integrity of the woodwork, and was careful to keep costs down by not using more new teak wood than necessary, and finally he was a good communicator and a pleasure to work with!

Philip did a beautiful job installing an extremely heavy front door for me. The craftsmanship in his work is remarkable. The door glides shut with a quiet click. It was a pleasure spending the day with him as he hung and rehung the door until it was perfect. I would recommend Philip for any woodworking project you have.
